It has been a long few months, but I'm popping back in. I'm surprised to see so many people still reading my works, that's crazy, haha 🥺

I've been working through my internship program these past few months, and I have been super busy. I'm happy and proud to say that I got an official internship at a corporate center in the city! The seat consists of coding/programming, machine learning, and statistical models with quantitative data. 🤍

The internship is guaranteed a high conversion rate if they like me. So, your Shrimpy may finally get her foot in the corporate world of data programming soon!

A lot has happened lately. I hope you're all thriving and working hard for yourselves.

How's a going everyone? I hope you're all doing well!

I've been away for a while now, simply because my internship program has been keeping me so, so busy. And I do miss chatting with some of you, though I have been pretty occupied.

I'm currently working towards advanced internship placements for data science/engineering, and I've been studying everyday on a regular basis, along with focusing on projects for the program. I've been meeting and networking with so many great people, and honestly, things are just looking up for me and my potential career so I'm just happy about that. 🤍

I'm not too sure if I'll ever come back here to write, I do miss it, but I am so busy now that I can't attend to much. However, I truly hope to keep you guys updated, and pop in here from there.

I'm just extremely tired. Working all day at my part time job and balancing my zoom meetings, and I have orientation for my internship program next week. But my mentors and managers have been super sweet and nice, I love meeting them all yesterday ☺️

But honestly, just so tired. And really exhausted. I come home from work or leave my Zoom meetings to just lay in bed and thank goodness my boyfriend is just as tired as me so we can just watch Netflix all night 😂🤍

a/n ⧣ this was supposed to be way shorter so calling it a short scenario is a liiittle bit of a stretch, i just got carried away but can you blame me? he's 2 cute pls

ALSO FIRST POST YAYY! i hope this isn't too bad hehe but i’m gonna stfu now ENJOYY ♡

꒰ i think we all know that working at the agency is tiring, to say the least. so when dazai comes home late after a long day of exhausting work, all he looks forward to is slipping into bed with his pretty girlfriend and holding you close to him.

he lets out a heavy sigh, kicking off his shoes and tossing his bag down somewhere by the door. dazai makes his way through his dark apartment towards your shared bedroom, where he finds you laying in his bed focused on the tv in front of you. you look away from the screen to find his slim, delicate figure in the dimly lit doorway, smiling at you softly.

“‘samu, you’re home! took you long enough,” you say jokingly as you jump out of the blankets to greet your boyfriend’s open arms. he takes you into a tight hug, grinning as your cheek smooshes against his chest.

“hi, angel,” he giggles before pressing a soft kiss to your forehead.

“what’re you doing up so late? i thought i’d told you not to stay up waiting for me.”

“but you know i always sleep better with you,” you say with a slight pout.

he laughs lightly before gently pressing a kiss to your soft lips and letting you trail back to the warmth of your bed. quickly slipping out of his beige trenchcoat and changing out of his uncomfortable work clothes, he heads back to bed with you.

dazai slips under the soft covers beside you with a deep sigh as you cuddle closer to his chest. under the blankets you shared, his comforting arms snake around your back to pull you into a tight hug. you gladly let him take you into his arms as he begins whining about this being the first time he's seen your pretty face in hours. you listen as he tells you about his boring office work and how particularly annoying kunikida was today. dazai continues rambling about his work antics and complaining about not seeing you all day as you feel your eyes grow heavy.

you always loved hearing your boyfriend's pretty voice, no matter what he was talking about. it was simply so soothing, never failing to calm your frantic nerves. peering up to meet his eyes, you see dazai’s perfect face in the glow of the tv light. his fingers sort through his soft, messy brown hair as he continues talking, a few small strands sticking to his forehead. resting your head on his chest, you brush away the few strands of hair he missed, humming and nodding occasionally as he tells his stories. one of dazai’s bandaged hands stays resting on your lower back, rubbing and stroking it as his other finds its way to play with your hair. long, slim fingers run through your silky hair, instantly calming you as your body's tension releases.

the two of you talk about your days a bit more- he asks about what you did, if you ate, small things he may have missed in the dozens of texts he sent you throughout the day.

as you both start to feel tired, your conversations fade out as you enjoy each other's silence. your eyes flutter shut as he continues to stroke your soft hair. dazai always loves having you lay on his chest, where you’re always close enough for him to press sweet kisses to your temples whenever he feels the need to. you can hear his heartbeat and his soft breathing, feeling his body relax. his scent was always so comforting, vanilla with laces of warm floral scents flooding your senses.

his fingers playing with your hair come to a stop as he feels your breathing against his chest start to slow, showing you’ve fallen asleep. you look so pretty with your soft pink lips slightly parted as you drift off. he tucks a slim strand of hair behind your ear before closing his own eyes and holding you a little tighter.

god, he wouldn’t trade anything in this world for the moments he shares with you.
