I love how when Landon isn’t able to be there for Hope, there’s often still been a part of him that is there for her. Like when he couldn’t be there to save her in 2x07, a part of his mind saved her. And I’m very curious to know where Landon was in 3x11, but when he couldn’t be there, the memory of him saved Hope. It’s like Landon is still always there for her in some form or in some way. Even something like in 2x02, when he couldn’t be with Hope because he didn’t remember her, he was still trying to be there for her even when he didn’t know who she was, by talking to her and giving her her milkshake without even knowing it. Or with last episode, just the thought of Landon is what saved Hope and brought her back to herself. And like right now, he’s gone, but it’s because he’s gonna find a way to save her. And I think it’s also interesting that Landon saving Hope, whether it be the real him or a piece of him, usually happens when Hope is at her most vulnerable and most in danger. It happens when she can’t save herself and when no one else is there to save her. In addition to 2x07 and 3x11, he was also there when no one else was in 2x11 when he saved her from Pothos and in 3x12 when he saved her from Cleo. And now, when no one else is finding a way to save her from having to die and activate her vampire side, he’s doing that too. And I feel like it really fits with what Landon brings to Hope’s life and the light he is in her life. When she’s been at her darkest and most desperate and alone, Landon, in some form, is the one who is there and the one to save her.

I kind of want Nancy to be mad at Ace for leaving, so mad that it culminates into a fight that ends with, "You left me-I mean, us! You left us!"
