Work in progress...
Quite tired from yesterday, went back to my hometown which is an isolated rural area. It was a place where my fathers grandparents lived, it has 3 small houses that was owned by our grandfather until he sold it to our relatives after rennovating it. It was worth the hike, there's a river below it which they used to swim in. Not really sure when we'd be able to visit again but i'm quite excited to explore more of it next time.

There are a lot of times that I get tired of the things I love to do like drawing or playing the guitar. I always feel like I keep doing the same thing everytime and that nothing's improving. It feels like moving in a straight line, no highs or lows. I get tired and I stop, then I find myself coming back to it again and I still ponder about what it means or what it says.

Loving yourself is hard but I think it all starts with self care. If you need sleep then sleep, that lecture you are studying won't get into your head unless you have had enough sleep. If you're tired then take a break, if you push yourself too hard you might break. For once just drop everything you're doing that has been stressing you and take a shower, relax, brew yourself something to drink, grab a book to read or watch a movie, if you can then take a walk outside, doodle or do some karaoke, anything that helps you relax just do it. Eat well, if you can eat 3 meals a day with snacks in between, excercise a little bit or stretch, do some skin care routine, cuddle with your loved ones, call your friends. Love starts with care, even if your parents/lover/friends/relatives/ don't say the words "I love you" but they do their best to feed you, clothe you, shelter you and many more. That's care and that's love.

I like to think of feelings as luggage. When hiking, the more luggage you carry the harder it is to keep on going. Sometimes you have to leave behind unnecessary things for a lighter journey. And I believe if we let go of some feelings such as anger, hatred and jealousy we could live a happier life. Think of it this way, that person doesn't care about what you think and nothing happens to them it only causes you more inconvenience because you keep holding on to those feelings and it adds to your stress. In the end it's only you who's suffering. There are feelings we can't explain and feelings that come out of nowhere and it's ok to just let them take over for a while after which just let them go and you'll feel much better.

Don't worry too much about the future, if you don't know what you want to do as of the moment then just do what you can. If you don't know what course to take or what you're interested in then choose what you think you can. You might not know what you want right now but in time it will come to you. It may take a few years but I think if you work and earn a little bit of money on the side you can have enough to do what you really want in your own pace and time. So do what you can for now and wait for what the future has to offer you.

Being alone and feeling alone are different things. There are those that like to be alone, those that feel alone and those that can be both alone and feel alone. There are people who prefer to shut the world out or hide themselves from the world but still feel alright. There are people that can have friends but still feel lonely. Lastly there are people that wants to shut people out but still wants or needs some company.

Being comfortable I think is one of the most dangerous things. Mainly because when we feel comfortable we don't improve. Stepping out of a comfort zone is one of the hardest things to do but when you cross that line every so often, you will see change and improvement. Being comfortable isn't such a bad thing but staying in that comfort zone for too long may sometimes make you feel like nothing is changing or nothing is improving.
Being comfortable is also dangerous in a sense that you might confuse it for boredom. Maybe you're not bored maybe you're just tired of doing the same thing as always so try to step out of that comfort zone and spice things up a little. If you feel like you aren't doing enough to occupy yourself then try to find new things to do that are out of your comfort.
