“We’ll see.” Jefferson said uncertainly, squeezing her tight before letting her let go. Once she was gone, he turned back to the mirror and begged, “Give me a good way to tell her….”

“It’s time for tea, Jeffy!” She called out before bringing out the tray to the patio. She was happy to finally have tea with him as she didn’t have to work until later that night. It almost felt like it did back at their cottage in the Enchanted Forest, having their mad tea parties outside in the gardens. She smiled fondly at the memory as she set the table.

Mirana rolled her eyes as she chuckled softly before letting go of him. “Okay, whatever it is, you can tell me over tea time.” She left the room to head over to the kitchen and began preparing tea.

She laughed with him as she always knew where he was most ticklish and it was always the cutest thing. After she stopped, she still held on to him from behind. “Okay, okay! But seriously! What were you doing?”

Mirana snickered as she have him a light snack on his arm. “I’m not even wearing shoelaces you dork!” She started poking him on the sides to tickle him.

“What is it?” Mirana gazed back at her friend with a small smile, curious about what he wanted to tell her. She wrapped her arms around his waist again. He was always so cuddly, she just loved having him in her arms in some way.

“I’d like to tell you but I can’t. It’s a surprise.” Jefferson blushed at her kiss on his cheek. She was affectionate as ever and right now that was killing him because she didn’t know he loved her. He sighed. “A good surprise, I hope.” he assured her however.

Mirana let out a soft chuckle before hugging him from behind, resting her chin on his shoulder. “Ah! I love surprises but can you just give me one hint? Pleeeease?” She couldn’t help her pout. She always loved his surprises as she started wondering what it could be. A new dress? A new hat? Whatever it was she knew she was going to love it.
