Please recommend a good faster paced cdrama
I keep dropping everything I start as they progress SO slowly.
Shows I've dropped:
Amidst a snowstorm of love
Put your head on my shoulder
Please feel at ease Mr.Ling
The rational life
The princess and the werewolf
I am pretty new to cdramas, my favourites are Hidden love, Love between fairy and devil and My journey to you.

Kdramas I have watched
116. Doctor Slump
Tumblr media
This show was on my radar because of Park Hyung-sik 😍 I had high expectations after seeing the trailer.
This show and the characters have a special place in my heart, I could especially identify with Han-eul.
The show tackles very serious issues but the seriousness was well balanced out with lots of comedy. I found myself laughing during probably every episode. Park Hyung-sik is his adorable hilarious self. If you liked him in SWDBS you'll love him here.
The enemies to lovers theme was done really well, as enemies they weren't really toxic towards each other, it was more like sibling rivalry. Possibly my favourite thing about this show was the communication between the leads, I loved how they expressed themselves to each other even before they were in a romantic relationship.
I found the pacing to be really good, I watched this show as it aired and looked forward to the weekends, the show never dragged any storylines and kept things moving, which I loved. It gave us more time for fluffy, funny scenes.
Spoilers:
Since I loved everything I will be a little picky...this show has one of my favourite second lead couples but I wanted a little more of them, especially with the kids as well, we got scenes with Dae-young and Hong-ran's son but I would have loved some scenes with Dae-young's daughter with both Hong-ran and even her son.
Highly recommending this show. This is what a healing drama should be like.

Kdramas I have watched
115. Youth of May
Tumblr media
The only thing I knew about this show before watching it was that it has a sad ending, so I was prepared 🙃
When I started the show I didn't think I would complete it because I don't like historical or political themes.
I was initially really confused but I did a quick Wiki read on the events the show is based around and that helped a little.
The relationship between Myeong-hee and Hui-tae was perfection and I couldn't help rooting for them to overcome everything to be together. I also adored their little brothers. I loved the little outing the four of them had together.
I wasn't interested in the politics storyline but focused on the relationships. The show was pretty slow paced at the beginning and I felt the last episode was really rushed. I wanted to see more of the present day and see where more characters ended up. And yes the ending made me cry..alot 😭
Don't watch this if you want a happy ending. It's a very tragic story.

WHY are people saying Baek Hyun-woo is such a green flag? Are we watching the same show? He's only being nice to his wife because she's dying soon. He is HAPPY she's going to die so he doesn't have to ask her for a divorce. He was DISAPPOINTED when he saw the articles in which people miraculously out lived their prognosis.
Did I miss something?

Kdramas I have watched
114. Welcome to Samdal-ri
Tumblr media
Very rare for me, but I actually decided to watch this show after seeing the trailer. It reminded me of Hometown Cha Cha Cha so I had high hopes for it.
But I struggled to get through it 😭 I was going to quit early on because by the 4th episode the only thing happening was Sam-dal getting drunk and hiding from the people in the village. It was so repetitive. But I saw comments saying it gets better, actually that it gets really good, so I pushed forward.
I liked the overall story and the characters but the pacing was soooo slow and many scenes felt repetitive and unnecessary. I would have really loved if they focused more on the other 2 sisters, I wanted to know more about their past (and even their future in the last episode). There were also many scenes with other characters in the village but we didn't get any side plots with them which was disappointing.
I think this show needed 10 episodes at the most.
My favourite thing about the show was the way everyone in the village supported each other ❤️ and I loved every scene with Ha-yul.
Watch this if you like shows that progress at a snail's pace 🤷

113. I am not a robot
Tumblr media
This show was on my list for the longest time but I never got around to watching it because I wasn't familiar with the cast 😬 (yes, I am THAT person) But after watching Tere Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya and enjoying it, I decided to give this a watch.
I wasn't expecting to love this show and its characters as much as I did. It has a simple story with very little mystery but somehow I couldn't stop watching. I think it's all down to the many many lovable characters. It also surprised me that this show was so funny, not in a cringy, trying-too-hard way but it made me laugh out loud many times. Also they are all so CUTE 🥰
My favourite part of the whole show was their little found family *ugly cries* I really loved what they did with Yu-cheol and Ri-el's characters. I was really satisfied with the ending. Talk about coming full circle. Iykyk
I adored this show, give it a watch!
