This is not statistical because I have only read two books with characters in it who claimed to be asexual and in BOTH of them you got the typical "asexuals can enjoy sex!" speech (they were mediocre books written by teenagers in their 20s), which is the same speech you get from a majority of so called "asexual activists". How is this how the majority of people in this supposed community feel about their sexuality? Something is so deeply broken about them and their approach to sex. You'd think among so many people claiming to be asexual there'd be more of them who actually don't have sex because they don't like it??! I think i was deeply unhappy back then and i was a little less unhappy during my hardcore maneater phase and im still sad now but its because im in grad school ergo not selfloathing anymore but I think I'd be remiss to not mention that radfem ideology etc. was pretty instrumental in helping me overcome a lot of my internal self hatred and doubts. im still working on myself but credit where credit is due.
