can i say one other thing two days out from the watcher thing. you can say whether or not the choice was a good decision. but i would say is what it definitely does is cut off casual fans. i’m a relatively casual fan of watcher. there’s a few shows i’ll binge once every few months. i simply don’t watch them with enough consistency to subscribe to them, on top of everything else. and like. this isn’t a this is all about me thing. but i do think saying they’re heavily limiting the barrier to entry and that may hurt them with casual fans isn’t an unfair criticism of this move. like upload a video to youtube six months to a year after going on the streamer and maybe a handful of youtube exclusive content you may get some more ad revenue for people who care but not quiiiite enough to pay $6/a month.
