for many systems, being plural is a vital part of their identity, but this means different things for different systems. some may want to protect this part of themselves and keep it hidden, while others may want to be open about it.

you are a valid system regardless of whatever you choose.

This sucks so much lol. As a system AND otherkin, kintypes are not "treated like alters" and are not making light of any disorder. This is so misinformed it hurts.

Like... My kintypes are what I indentify as. They are not seperate from me, they ARE me. And if it's the stupid argument about "kin 'shifts' are stolen from system 'switches'" again, I'll bite something. Shift terminology originated from weres, like SHAPESHIFTING, it's not related to switching or stolen from systems.

And if someone's otherkinity overlaps with their plurality, there's nothing wrong with that either. It's a deeply personal identity. But discriminating against an entire group, and saying their identity makes light of your disorder is so fucking twisted. I know that's the anti endo's whole thing, but the fact they're targeting people who DONT EVEN IDENTIFY AS PLURAL OR SYSTEMS is mind-blowing to me. What the fuck.

There's a lot that's wrong with this. Especially them essentially saying that otherkin are only valid if they just "feel close" to a character.

Personally though, I just want to remind any otherkin and alterhumans who support anti-endos that these are the types of people they're siding with. That exclusionists and bigots will hate you for bearing even the slightest similarity to other groups they hate.

I've seen exclusionists trying to infiltrate alterhuman spaces before. Just last Summer, I discussed the Alterhuman Things server being bullied into banning endogenic systems by anti-endos infiltrating these spaces.

There are a great many shared interests between the alterhuman and plural communities, and both are often the victims of the same type of hate and bigotry from the general public, and from exclusionists like these. It's integral, if we seek to make real progress for our communities, that we work together to achieve it and stand against exclusionism.

the symbol is a simplified version of the nonhuman alter symbol on pluralpedia that we made, the dark blue represents the unity between all types of nonhumans, the purple represents the supernatural and a separation from humanity, the yellow represents those who find joy in both human and nonhuman experiences, the light green represents those who enjoy all of the human experience, and the dark green represents our place here on earth together, no matter where we are from there are some variations under the cut!

Okay, so I started thinking about the fact that I see my headmates in the wonderland in a different ways and styles. Let me explain, so I always see Xavery, Killian and Orchid a bit... cartoon-ish? Their art styles changes sometimes, but they're never realistic, you see. And I see Charles only realistically. Petal's never cartoon-ish. And Louis and Noé look like their sources, their art styles don't change at all. So now I'm really curious...

This has been sitting in my mind but.

I want to talk about the aspect of those that uses spiritual origin to help explain their kinity. Too much narratives have been about past lives, and the other form of spiritual otherkinity are forgotten.

This would perhaps give more people some awareness that again, past life =/= kintype, vise versa, a kintype that may be spiritual origin does not automatically mean a past life.

I welcome y’all to elaborate upon your vote. The current format of voting unfortunately does not allow multiple choices (unless that is a implemented feature, please do point it out to me the how to’s), so polykind, plural people, et al., you would have to just pick one and talk about it more in detail in your reply/rb if you would like.

For the ones that aren’t spiritual based, you are still welcome to talk about the various way your otherkinity came from.
