being depressed and part of la squadra, prosciutto being your mentor and trying to cheer you up by buying you his favorite local italian pastries so that, as a non-italian, you can test them and enjoy what you can even if it's difficult for you. him having an incredible soft spot for you but trying to hide it by saying he just like buying the team some stuff, when truly he only does it for you :)

prosciutto when his partner deals with loneliness (fall edition 🍂)

prosciutto

being as busy as always with his job, he feels guilty over leaving you to yourself. most of the time, he knows you handle that kind of thing very well, but like any human, you get lonely. no matter how much you try to hide it, prosciutto sees right through it. it isn't really obvious, but it's not something he can't look past either. he knows you spend most of your time inside and don't have the social battery to go out and interact with people. the way you go about your day, just barely entertained, waiting for the time to pass without really knowing what you're waiting for, this feeling of isolation... first thing he does is he tries to coax you gently into eating some food, and he does not leave your side. with a white hot chocolate chaï in hands, you'll both settle down in your shared bed or on the couch to have a discussion, watch a movie, or just sit next to each other, being contempt that both of you are finally able to be in each other's presence. he asks you about your day, and you can be sure he wants to know the details, how you felt, what you thought...you interest him as much as that : he values you greatly, so much, that you wouldn't even be able to realize all of it. he knows that at the end of the day, it's still really hard for you. he tries to take as much as he can off your shoulders and when you break down, you'll find it's a relief there's at least someone with you, him, that loves and cares about you. this situation will have him reconsider some activities he put on the side for too long, especially fall activities, since it's the season : baking delicious pies, brewing some hot apple cider coffee, knitting (yes, he likes it). he'll try to teach you what he knows with an unusual softness in his manners that makes you realize he truly does worry for you, not in a condescending way, but the way a lover is worried for their partner who doesn't act as joyful and energetic as before. pros will also use these activities as an excuse to provide physical contact and maybe brush your hand one too many times...but don't tease him about that. last and most important, this man will harass you into taking your vitamin D ! don't you dare forget it, the darker days around this time of the year can make everything so much more dull and depressing...all in all, you're in good hands !

i just know that during road trips with la squadra, when prosciutto is driving and they open some kind of candy or chocolate bar, pros will reach behind his seat with his extended hand

and he doesn't like sweets that much but he just has to have some, you know...he'll complain about the industrial and superficial flavours but will eat the sour worms anyway. if you bring nuts, dried fruits or some kind of other food to munch on he will prefer that much more because candies are for 'kids' but he'll take anything really. he needs some energy to drive throughout the entire day !!

hello it's been a long time im so sorry for not updating again ! i've been quite busy and drifting apart from my jjba interest for the last few months

risotto, prosciutto and melone reacting to a teammate having a difficult time dealing with missions and doing their job.

you found yourself getting more and more distressed over the missions you've been assigned. being an assassin isn't easy, it even is fairly complicated when you have to track some targets on your own. your (fave ls character) notices it and decides to take action.

risotto

it's very likely that risotto will catch up on your difficulty quite quickly. he's an observant man, and needs his team to be at their best, in each and every mission he assigns them. seeing you in a state of panic each time you successfully hit the target, he first tries to soothe you as soon as he sees you distressed over the situation. he doesn't mind physical contact if you're okay with that. it's more tangible for him as he often doesn't have the words to express you his support. he's a quiet help, but a very strong one that you can rely on anytime. he'll suggest that you work in his office with him when you're off missions, otherwise, he never forgets to check up on you despite his complicated schedule. he keeps an eye on you in the long term, and tries to not let you go alone on missions, either teamming you up with prosciutto and pesci, or with him.

prosciutto

if he notices your difficulties very early on, he's the type to not make any comment on it unless you bring it up. indeed, he wouldn't want to pry on you or seem indiscrete. he knows you're strong, and trusts you to talk to him about what stresses you out. he was a bit like that when he started the job, and wished he had had someone to confide in when he was alone. however, if things really get dangerous for you and your mental health, he won't hesitate to bring up the issue. he's in for a open-heart one-to-one conversation, and will promptly tell you that your health goes first - anyways, nobody lasts long in that environment if they're already not feeling at least somewhat good. he will never judge you for any of your hardships. he's got very good advice, but tends to get lost in them and to rationalize the situation a bit too much. he'll gladly take your mind off things by taking you to the nearest coffee shop and offering you fancy pastries, or spend some alone time with you. he won't let you go alone on missions from now on, whether his capo wants it or not. additionnal cuddles get added too, as well as random discrete but genuine displays of affection, such as holding your hand and rubbing it with his thumb, kissing you on the forehead before a meeting...he clearly does his best to show you you're cared for, you're loved. he never forgets these things and always thinks of you if you get lost or left behind.

melone

one of the best to be around in those moments. he's got his usual attitude and will smother you in hugs and be as as usual, if not more. on the other hand, he's got very good advice as well, but tends to help you fully experience your feelings without trying to rationalize everything like prosciutto. melone doesn't like when you put yourself down over trivial things and silly little mistakes, so you bet that if he catches you saying negative things out loud about yourself, he's going to put a stop to that. you can't talk when you're kissed and tickled. now he really does have some tools to help you : he's excellent at breathing techniques, knows everything about them and will help you achieve a more stable state of mind when you need to. obviously, this isn't always possible, so trust him to be there when you're feeling really sad as well : he's like your own personal body-pillow. melone actually owns a bunch of massage tools and will propose to make you loose the tension in your shoulders when you need to. in addition to that, he won't let you go alone on missions unless he's sure you're alright. he always makes sure to back you up in some way, and often times ends up taking a whole load of your work for himself. rest is everything, baby !

waking up terrified and screaming from the sheer horror of your nightmare. not realizing what's going on around you, only feeling from very far someone hold you and support you through it. lights being lit on, soft voices of two persons talking to each other in front of your room. the bed dips, and you feel someone else put their hand on your cheek, wiping your tears. everything is a blur, and you feel helpless and vulnerable. you can't put up a face anymore.

but pros and melone don't mind, actually, they let you be vulnerable and stay with you until you feel more stable, until the morning. you're safe. nothing's going to happen to you. you hear melone start to hum a soothing song and feel a hand gently arranging your hair around your head. clinging to them like your life is depending on it, trying to breathe. pros telling you he's proud of you, to let it all out, that you're not alone, that you don't need to think about anything for the moment.

Prosciutto x Reader : Reciprocity ?

Hey, it's been a loooooooong time ! I was not motivated AT ALL to write, and i'm stil not very much (sorry), but I'm currently back to daydreaming about some of my faves from LS and Bucci Gang, so have this CHEESY Prosciutto x Reader snippet. Hope everyone is well !

"Come on, look at me." Prosciutto said with an unusual softness in his voice. The finger hooked under your chin made you lift your head ever so slightly, and it was with a great effort that you finally brang yourself to meet the eyes of your teammate. You two weren't exactly a thing, as being in the mafia wasn't exactly the easiest job in the world. These times, your free time was sparse. You had barely flirted with the man, each and every one of your interactions never really permitting you to put words on things between you both. You had kissed him, already ; he had kissed you. There was an intimacy waiting to grow between you both, but with the missions, the papers, and everything else...you just didn't have the time. And you wondered if Prosciutto ever felt for you what you felt for him. He was so extremely laid back about all of this : about all the flirt, the occasional closeness, the kisses...But not once had he had the time, nor, maybe, the will, to take things to a next level ; that is, to have a talk with you. Maybe it wasn't that deep to him.

But as you looked into his sapphire blue eyes and saw the concern in it, you internally cowered. Today had been awful, and the last mission finally broke the camel's back : you were too tired to even hide anything, and felt that a wave of numbness and sadness was approaching you : in fact, you felt like you were a bit somewhere else. You knew that the nightmares would come, tonight. You knew Prosciutto wouldn't be there to comfort you, nor even to see you in such a state, because, sometimes, life is like that. You woud've wanted to feel his arms around you, like a protective embrace. The warmth of his body and the fresh lavender scent of his newly-washed hair.

"Please, talk to me...". You felt the couch sink beside you. His hand stroked your knee, and you practically melted, called back to reality.

You cleared your throat, still a bit lost. "I...These past few days...". You couldn't finish your sentence.

"I know." Prosciutto answered.

He always got things. He always knew. That made you heart feel warmer, in some sort of way. He understood.

The next few words that slipped out your mouth were impossible to control, much less to stop.

"Pros, I love you."

The confession hit the both of you hard. Very hard. There was a moment of silence, nothingness. Then :

"Has it been a longtime ?" Incapable of going back in time, you chose to nod. Very slowly nod. You started regretting everything. Of course he wasn't interested like that. Of course he had other things to do !

But his hand came back against your knee, this time slightly squeezing it. You didn't dare to look at him again.

"I love you too, y/n."

You felt your body relax almost instantly, and next thing you know, you were in his arms. He wouldn't let you down this time.

La Squadra X S/O during hot weather (headcanons)

Disclaimer : I did not write the part for Sorbet & Gelato, for the reason that I am not familiar with them yet, and I that I want to get to know their characters further before I write anything ! I hope you understand, my apologies.

Risotto

Metallica’s Stand user could, theoretically, modify the way your body regulates its temperature by modifying the level of iron in your blood, but let’s be honest here : it’s a dangerous thing. And if you did think of it, Risotto is having none of it, since he knows, better than anyone else, that his stand is dangerous.

However, despite his emotionless steel facade, he cares very much and will do anything to relieve you from feeling bad. The man will regularly check up on you and bring you some water bottles that he puts near you so you’re never out of it and don’t get dehydrated. He’ll encourage you to stay with him while he’s working at his office - if you want of course.

Maybe you two will go on a walk at the park in the evening, holding hands. Cooling down from his work AND the hot weather is a must for him. He might treat you to some cold beverage while you wander around town with him. When you two come back to the hideout, you’ll be able to spend a cozy night’s sleep in his room. Unfortunately, Risotto thinks his body is far too bulky and warm to cuddle with you without bothering you, so maybe he will ask Ghiaccio to cool down the air for you two to have a refreshing sleep.

While doing so, he likes to place his chin on your shoulder, next to the crook of your neck, and feeling his peaceful breathing on your skin will make it so much easier to fall asleep.

Prosciutto

It is true : Prosciutto will harass you to drink your water if you don’t drink enough of it. He knows his teammates can be forgetful sometimes, but as you’re more than a teammate to him, he tends to be more intransigent.

Nonetheless ; he’s the type to pamper you. He’ll cook for you if you’re ever hungry, and even if you’re not because of such a hot wether, the man will encourage you to drink a smoothie at least, as it also is hydrating.

Need help with your outfits ? Don’t worry, Prosciutto knows how to stay fashionable while still being comfortable in these times. He owns some expensive short-sleeves shirts that he is willing to lend you, on the condition that you take care of it. If he can trust you and let you wear them, don’t give in to Melone’s request to put on a show while acting like Prosciutto, because your man will be oh, so flustered. On the daily though, seeing you wearing some of his clothes makes his stomach turn with butterflies, and he cannot help but smile when he sees you sitting besides the pool of the hideout, carefreely minding your own business while drinking a cold fruit cocktail, the shirt he lent you flying in the evening breeze.

Formaggio

Formaggio is one of the most prepared to hot weather (2nd one after Ghiaccio, of course), since he spent most of his childhood in the south of Italia. That doesn’t mean he’s productive or anything of the sort during that time. Let me tell you that he just splays out on his bed or on the couch of the hideout, and rarely moves.

But a big advantage that comes with this is that he knows where to get the tastiest watermelon out in town. After having placed it in the fridge for a few hours, he’ll eventually show you his creative skills while cutting the watermelon in little flowers shapes, or even heart shapes. Don’t show it to Melone or Illuso, or otherwise they’ll steal all of your hearts.

Formaggio likes to treat you like a princess so if you ever need anything, he often is the first to get up, ready to go looking for it.

If you're ok with being kissed or any other kind of physical affection, he'll smugly pass an icecub over his lips or his arms, to surprise you with a refreshing smooch/hug. He won't ever get tired of hearing you laugh and ask him to do that again.

He knows he's an awesome boyfriend and will not hesitate to show off in front of the others.

Illuso

« Keep your head up, tesoro. »

Illuso knows that hot weather isn’t really a cool thing and that some people do not tolerate it very much but he thinks that you can deal with it on your own. He himself hates hot weather, as it is always bad for his hair. As he makes sure to wash them everyday with nourishing shampoos and cold gel/products, he may agree to you joining him in that routine.

It’s actually very soothing to the two of you and feeling him wash the remains of shampoo in your hair with fresh water is really nice. Illuso will massage your scalp as it’s what he usually do for himself, but do not take it any other way : it’s just the part of a decent hair-washing routine…He likes you but this, is not an affectionate gesture at all…Not at all…If you ever bring that up, he’ll blush and will not say anything since he’s a very proud and secretive man, as usual.

After that, expect to spend some quality time with him. His go-to would be to cuddle in his giant, fluffy bed while listening to some rock songs of the 90s and feeling the breeze of a fan on your skin. Illuso might feel a bit goofy and pepper your cheeks in kisses just as you are falling asleep. Messing with you is one of his favorites hobbies, so better watch out !

Pesci

Pesci is actually quite good at dealing with hot weather. He's got some nice advice from his aniki, plus, he spent a lot of time on the internet trying to find some tips to help you feel better.

Placing a cup full with icecubes in front of a fan is his to-go, and he presses you to lie down with him so that you two aren't wasting any energy.

The man gets a bit flustered about being so close to you, but he adores spending such quiet time in the presence of someone he genuinely loves and respects. Place a few kisses on his cheek or his forehead, and he'll be more than happy.

This may be a crazy thing, but Pesci is abke to use his stand so that it generates wind. Actually, he uses the fishing rod as a turning string, so that it can act like a fan, but in way much more space (Can you do that with a fish rod ? Let's say you can. Pesci can, anyways.).

He's obsessed with sparkling/fizzy beverages and might order some delicious drinks at the shop next door, that you two can sip on while looking at the magnificent sunset taking place at the back of La Squadra's hiedout.

Melone

Of all La Squadra, Melone is probably the worst at handling hot weather. The only thing keeping him alive, well, and at least a bit functioning, is his knowledge in the health field. He knows what to do, and what not to do during a time like this, so expect him to be all over you to try and make this time more bearable for you as well.

Melone knows some places in rural Italy where you two can swim in a lake and forget all about your problems. As long as he's not out in the middle of the day, he can take you to these places by riding his bike, and enjoy a nice picnic on the fresh grass above the water.

When you two stay at the hideout, he'll usually splay out on his bed, inviting you to stay for a cuddle session or a shoulder massage with his lavender-scented products.

Melone is also a very innovative person, which means he has tried plenty of said 'fresh, hydrating' recipes for the summer. He has tried almost anything that was possible, and ended up making citrus jelly a thing during summers at the hideout. Illuso and Ghiaccio think that he's crazy and will never taste some of his cursed foods, but when you try it yourself, it's actually quite good, and the rest of the team likes it.

Melone doesn't waste any time and is always ready to make you some ice tea or citrus jelly.

He is down to go wander with you in the dark forest behind the hideout, and might steal some kisses from you under the shadows of the trees, if you are okay with it.

Ghiaccio

It goes without saying : you're with the one person in La Squadra to be able to control temperature. So to make it short, you will not really have a problem with feeling too hot. Actually, when Ghiaccio's near you, it will be such a relief to feel that you can breathe fresh air again.

Ghiaccio plays it off and don't think of it as spectacular, because he's used to this, but deep down, he likes that he makes you feel that relieved.

When he's using his stand for a mission however, he'll be focusing on the target only. If you're grumpy about that, he just grunts and treats you to some ice cream afterwards and agrees to make you taste the mint & vanilla taste he picked, if you let him have the frozen chocolate fudge on top of your icecream.

When it's hot, Ghiaccio enjoys swimming with Melone and might agree to challenge you to a round of crawl swim around the pool (if you do not know how to swim and are comfortable with learning, he'll be willing to help you and will be surprinsingly patient as he had a hard time learning that skill when he was a kid).

As he can't use his stand as he sleeps, he'll sometimes wake up very sweaty, feeling the bed around him to see where you are and let White Album refresh the room again. Before dozing back off to sleep, he may place on your temple a kiss as light as a feather.

Studying with La Squadra at the University Library

Risotto

Bundled up in his black hoodie, barely even sees the sun nor tries to feel it on his skin, even while sitting in the library near a window.

You will typically find him in the darkest corners of the library, trying to decipher some of his most difficult classes.

Always has a cup of coffee nearby, full or empty depending the time of the day, but you can be sure he drinks a lot of it to stay awake.

Risotto's the quiet type, so you won't hear him at all. It's actually very good as it encourages a more focused attitude in you. The man is overall very chill externally, but he's extremely stressed and does not sleep very much.

Prosciutto

Prosciutto has a very organized way of life. That's why, often times, since he already regularly studied through the semester, he won't really need a 'big session' right before finals and will keep on studying as usual. He's like that, and doesn't like when some of the others complain about the time they've got left : if they put themselves to work sooner, they wouldn't be in that situation in the first place !

However, he is keen on getting the best grades he can get, that's why he knows a lot of tricks to remember as much as possible. He will definitely get Pesci into this.

Very quiet and is the type to aggressively shush you if you dare make any noise in the library. He will snitch to whoever is in charge of the place if he catches you more than one time snickering with Formaggio, so be careful.

Formaggio

Can't focus for his life. Always has something to say, to point out, to laugh about...Formaggio isn't even remotely stressed about finals.

It's a bit annoying to the most serious ones, honestly. Similarly to Illuso, he will take as many breaks as possible, but actually doesn't care if he eats his snack outside or inside the library. Yes, so be careful of the crumbs and protein bar papers. Too many times he stained your notes with peanut chocolate and soda !

You guessed it, Formaggio doesn't really like to study for finals ; and it's a miracle that he even passes, but he's the type of student to always miraculously pass, even though his grades are almost too low.

Illuso

IF he is at the library, you won't see him very much. Illuso is the type to get good grades effortlessly. He will take multiple smoking 'breaks' throughout the study session, his time studying ending up being recorded by Formaggio. A few minutes at most !

Hates when other people talk, but hell, he won't be bothered by his own talking with the others : he'll even tell you to keep quiet and to stop interrupting him because he's in the middle of telling an anecdote to a very interested Melone.

He'll borrow a lot of manuals that he won't even bother to read, much to the dismay of others who would like to actually read them and use them for good.

Doesn't share his snacks, even steals from the others when they've been unpolite to him, or just because he feels like it. Always has a fancy drink nearby, something like colored bubble tea.

Pesci

He is not very fond of studious atmospheres as it often makes him nervous and...let's be honest, it's quite intimidating sometimes.

He's fairly good at taking notes and catching extra important info, and that's why he often gets good grades : he has great capacity for listening.

Pesci needs a few breaks throughout the day, usually he plans them beforehand, and stays quite organized. He's the one who will make studying fun and interactive and always has plenty of imagination to try and help you make understand some difficult concepts.

Melone

Oh...there's little chance you'll see Melone at the library. He loves it, but he often sleeps in very late and prefers to study in the late hours of the night at his own desk.

Sometimes, though, he'll accompany you. He stays silent and is often very immersed into the materials he finds to be the most interesting. There's a chance he won't see how much time has passed, and has trouble with taking breaks, but he always has something to snack on for himself and you if you get hungry as well, because your brain needs the energy, it's working hard !

Ghiaccio

Has an appointed place at the library and you better not take it, because it's his and it's perfect temperature wise. Ghiaccio prefers not to be in the sun, but will make sure he isn't amongst the cold shadows either.

He has a workbook for each material, each different color and that he takes very great care of. The only exception in his writing : it's oftentimes all smudged and almost unreadable. However, he knows what he wrote, so he studies fast and effectively, and at least no one will steal his notes.

If you dare eat or drink in the library AND make noise while doing it, you're dead. Ghiaccio has no tolerance for any type of this bullsh*t.

However, he is a nice companion for studying and excellent at making you memorize things. He often repeats his lessons over and over and takes advantages of breaks to remind you some things you may have forgotten. Very good with numbers also, and often explains very clearly and easily the materials with some calculus and mathematics in it.
