안녕하세욤 ㅋㅋㅋ 내 생활 업에이트 잊어버렸어. 음... 지난주에 우린 중간 시험 질 봤어. 나는... 그 말하기 시험 때 조금 긴장됐니까.. 조금 실수가 있어... ㅠㅠ 난 진짜 "위치" 싫어. "횡단보도를 건너가면 그 (장소)가 볼 수 있어요"라고 해야 돼 근데 나는 "횡단보도에 건너가면.." ㅠㅠ 난 어떻게........ 아 그라고 그 일기 시험 때.. there's this one question that was so confusing like I think I spent like 5 mins on it 계속 thinking what would it be, what would make sense. :') 그냥 70점 and above will make me happy. or even better... 85 above 제발 ㅋㅋㅋ 사실.. 그 시험이 어렵지 않았어.. 그냥 아마 긴장됐어..

I must score well on the final exam. OH AND we're gonna have a TOPIK exam on July 10th and heck I've been practicing the past papers and boi............. 코멘트가 없어... 안녕.

안녕~ legit I was already typing a long a^^ paragraph then suddenly tumblr crashes. like??????????????? Now' I've already forgotten what I've said before. 😭

I do remember saying I've started to get anxiety bcs TOPIK exam is around a month ish. Hence, I've been studying during these 3 days holiday and that's all I remember. Jeeeeeeezzzzzzz tumblr what the heckkk.

Anyways, Daegu life is quite okay than I expected. I've been cooking a lot of meals these days and saving money lmao COS I KNOW SEOUL'S GONNA BE EXPENSIVE AS HECK? gosh I don't know what else to talk abt cos I literally forgot what I've said jn.

Oh yeah 기억이 남았어.. I was saying about these days I've been practicing a lot w the vocabs, grammars and all. I've also been reading books on my iPad till late nights [which I never do] hahahah but reading on the iPad is somewhat so much comfortable for me but I do still love physical books, they're fun to touch and smell. [if u know what i mean.. the smell of new books is heavenly].

Welp, I'll try to update more often in this e-diary of mine hahaha. I hope whoever's reading this finds it fun to read.. 😁😁

105 ❥ ʟᴇᴠᴇʟ 2

Hello there~ yes, I haven't been able to update as much, I apologize. LMAO as if anyone's reading this lol. Anyways, it's been 104 days since I left Brunei, time flies so fast innit? And I'm now levelled up to 2급 alhamdulillah hahahaha. 2급 classes just started just this week, today's Sunday and the second week of 2급 classes will start tmr~

During my week-long break, I went 구경 around gwang-ju and some other places lmao, funny thing was I 감기에 걸렸어요.. ㅋㅋㅋ my first cold/fever in Koreaaaaa! I felt like dying especially when I had those cough attacks IN THE SUBWAY TRAIN LIKE EVERYONE WAS WATCHING ME INCL THAT HANDSOME OPPAR. Anyways, rn I'm all good except for 콧물이 저금 나요 but other than that, I'm fine, thanks for asking.

Another update is that all the GKS 학생들 will be sitting for TOPIK exam in July. to be specific, July 10th. I believe this was the same date as to when I first sat for my TOPIK I in Brunei. [might wanna recheck again hehe]. I plan to take TOPIK II because it's alang2 cos rn I'm in level 2, and I will study smart for this level 2 [eventhough the lecturers are a bit fast and the classmates are ohmygod im so shy..], I will study hard and smart to understand grammars and memorize vocabs, may Allah swt help me with my studies, aamiin yarrab. I'll also start practicing TOPIK II past papers which I'm scared about but 괜찮을거예요.. 아마.. 할 수 있어.. please keep me in your prayers :')

104 ❥ ᴀ ᴍᴏɴᴛʜ ᴘʟᴜꜱ

안녕하세요 여러분z~ hahaha apa annyongseyo annyongseyo? assalamualaikum semuanya~ (mun ada yg membaca jua) semoga ku inda lupa diri. My friend, Fau cakap "don't forget your roots and where u come from". In shaa Allah kuat iman ani. Alhamdulillah sembahyang inda tinggal walaupun selalu be qadha, alhamdulillah sembahyang subuh pun tebuat udah. Alhamdulillah~ syukur. Semoga sampai bila2 selalu mau sembahyang. My goal is to solat without ada rasa "terpaksa", in shaa allah. ;3

Anyways I'm so sorry for not updating HAHAHAHA it has been 41 days since I arrived South Korea. It still feels so surreal cos I remember me doing my application sampai subuh siapkan print this print that, go here go there, cry morning cry evening and now I'm here, whaaaaaaat? 😂😂 Alhamdulillah~ I remember praying to Allah semoga diberi kesempatan untuk belajar keluar negeri and alhamdulillah "studying abroad" is written in my book of life. I am indeed so grateful to everyone involved, my parents, friends, lecturers, Poli staffs, embassy staff and most importantly, Allah.. for granting my wish.

Today, I feel like updating this blog bcs I have time. HAHAHAHA, I was feeling productive today, my roommate went out and I decided to clean the room and even cooked carbonara pasta for lunch AND did laundry. Isn't that crazy? On a Sunday where I'm supposed to be out exploring Daegu. But it's kaay, cos I did a lot of damage yesterday.. I went downtown and bought this and that. By "damage", I meant I spent around 100,000KRW. No, I don't regret anything I bought cos they were on sale. Makeups, a shoes, a book, foooooodsss. I also treated my friends cos they been so nice to me.

I skipped the part where when I arrived 대구대, I had blisters here and there cos my Fila was a bit sampit cos jarang bepakai (but it has loosen up now cos malar jalan dah hehe and I no longer have blisters cos my kaki kabal udah hehe) and we had our second medical check required by NIIED and during the weighing, I lost around 2kg in like 2 weeks catu and I'm so proud, I hope to loose more weight here in Kr so that I can easily buy jeans cos the freaking UNIQLO doesn't bring in 2XL size for my fav cropped jeans, their biggest size was XL and I hope I can fit into that hehe. H&M too, their biggest size was EUR42 and I think I'm EUR44, so lets fit into EUR42 shall we? :')

Anyways, in shaa Allah I'll be updating again next time~ 🙈🙈

103 ❥ꜱᴇᴄᴏɴᴅ ʟᴀꜱᴛ ᴅᴀʏ ᴏꜰ Qᴜᴀʀᴀɴᴛɪɴᴇ

Hello! HEHEHE, sorry I couldn't update the day I arrived lol, everything was just too hectic and I was tired as heck. I wanna tell you the story of when I got lost and panicked at Incheon Airport, HAHAHAHAH. So like when u arrived, you'll go thru immigration process and then thru the health check and then this is the part where I got lost hahaha, I didn't know where to go or who to ask for cos legit no one was there. A sweet friend of mine made a list like after I got thru this process, I should go here and then there. So like I was searching for "Baggage Claim" and saw the labels which led me to a express train. And I'm there like ??????? Is this right?? Am I going the right way? I followed the signs thoooo.

So I decided to ask some Malaysian students, I asked if they were GKS scholars and they said no so I'm like oh okay and then I asked, is this the right way for baggage claim and they said "Yeah we think so" HAHAHAHA. So I just followed them and Alhamdulillah it was correctttttt, got out of the train, naik the elevator and then walk for a bit and then ahead ada the screening of docs I think?

The first checkpoint was they're gonna check like what's ur purpose to come here, so they'll ask for passport, visa and they'll check if you've downloaded the self-diagnosis app and then they'll fill them out for you (I'm so thankful) and they'll call your quarantine facility person in charge and confirm everything. After that the next checkpoint is where they take a pic of u and get your fingerprint scanned. Afterwards, you'll go to the baggage claim. YAY!

Picked up my heavy a** luggagesssss alone :') cos who is there to help right? (except Allah) hehe. Anyways, after that you have to go to Gate C and submit the customs clearance and finally one last screening check for you carry-on bags and then you're good to go. I was told to wait in front of Krispy Kreme and so I did, arrived around 8 ish and done with all the processes around 9 and then had to wait for EVERYBODY to arrive (those who will arrive on the same day) so I waited till 1 in the afternoon :( and then the driver picked us up on a fancy Merc van and it's even equipped with WIFI, I AMN SHOOK.

You know what else I'm SHOOK about? When my foot first stepped outside the airport.... IT FELT LIKE I WAS WALKING INTO A FREEZER ROOM. IT WAS SO COOOOOOOLLLLDDDDDDD, IM SO GLAD MY FRIEND SIS S TOLD ME TO NOT PUT MY PADDING INDIE MY CARGO BAG LIKE???? SAJUK GILA. ok sudah. - it was idk how many hours ride, when I woke up, we were at a health facility to get our pcr test before coming to the quarantine facility.

Anyways back to my topic hahahaha, sorry. I think tomorrow is my last day of quarantine (the immigration officers wrote 20 Feb doe) and I'm so excited to decorate my dorm room so that I can be motivated everyday to study andddddd so excited who my roommate will be. I just hope she's kind and outgoing and a good listener, everything good! Aammin Yarrab. I'll catch ya guys soon! <3

HAHAHA yes I KNOW IT'S ALL SO SUDDEN. I'm really scared and sad cos IM LEAVING MY FAMILY AND MY BABY NIECE BUT I'LL FORSURE VIDEOCALL EVERYDAY so that she doesn't forget about me :((((((((((((((((((( Please I'm so sad but I'm also excited BECAUSE I'M GOING TO KOREA AND BIGBANG ANNOUNCES THEIR COMEBACK IN MARCH???????????? EXCUSE ME? THE TIMING??? I thank Allah swt for giving me this chance, I'm so thankful alhamdulillah. :') Without him, I wouldn't be able to study abroad. Without my parents' berkat and doa, I wouldn't be able to study abroad. I have so many people to be thankful of and may Allah bless every single one of them with health and everything nice, aamiin yarrabbal alamin~

My flight will be tomorrow at noon to Singapore and I'll have to transit for 11 hours and then will be flying to Incheon at around 1 am Brunei time. I went to the PCR swab test thing today too, and hopefully will be able to get my results tomorrow super EARLY IN THE MORNING PLEASE COS MY FLIGHT IS AT NOON HELLO. Anyways, I'll be arriving Incheon on Monday and terus at the quarantine facility. May Allah swt ease my journey, aamiin yarrab.

OK SO.. once everything (documents) are ready, YOU NEED to register the EXIT PERMIT from the Prime Minister's Office. Here's the link -> click me! and then they'll ask for our deets, flight deets and everything. On top of that, you also need a SIGNED registration letter endorsed by the MOE. The registration link is -> click me! cos you need this registration letter signed and attached together into the EXIT PERMIT registration.

After you're done with the above, you need to also register for the PRIVATE STUDENT FORM (MOE). The link is here -> click me! and one more last thing, to register a form from the MOFA. This is voluntary and free. This is to ensure that we are safe and, if needed, to extend assistance in cases of emergencies while being in another country hehe. Here's the link -> click me! after registering from MOFA, a person from the Embassy of Brunei Darussalam in Seoul will email you with docs to be filled in. (Student Detail and Student Registration document)

100 ❥3ʀᴅ ᴀɴᴅ ꜰɪɴᴀʟ ʀᴇꜱᴜʟᴛ

Yall, I'm so so so so so sorry with the seriously lack of updates hahahahaha. HAPPY NEW YEAR 2022! Hahahaha, I'm really sorry I was super busy wth everything :")

Anyways, yes.. the 3rd and final results.. long story short yes, I got in.. I am accepted as a GKS-U 2022 scholar YAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!! There was a lot going on and I'm not sure where to start cos literally banyak berabis.

After the final results was out, ngl I was a bit losing hope. Why you say? Because I have NOT graduated AT ALL from Politeknik (UNTIL NOW. I'M WRITING THIS IN FEBRUARY 2022) Because of the COVID cases here in Brunei is nauzubillah. Everything was delayed.. even yesterday's cases were 900+ wooooooooooooow. So yeah long story short, I went to Politeknik with my dad to beg for my graduation certificate and then on the same day, my cases was being brought to the pengarah IMMEDIATELY and the registrar informed me that the pemgarah has to go to the MOE to ask for permission if they could release my certificate BEFORE ubd graduation because they wanted to avoid problems like Politeknik overstepping UBD.. and thennnn long story short, alhamdulillah Politeknik was able to give the embassy a softcopy with watermark of my graduation certificate ad I WAS SO HAPPY ALHAMDULILLAH. I was back on track!

Then couple of days later, NIIED emailed me to inform that I am no longer a conditional candidate and they'll buy me a ticket and I WAS BEYOND HAPPY ALHAMDULILLAH AGAIN! My urusan dipermudahkan Allah lagi! :''''''D then few weeks later the agency bought my ticket and the quarantine facility contacted me too~ hehehe.

Hellu you! Today I've submitted my final uni choice as well as the medical exam. I wanted to make my 100th post about the 3rd and final round of the GKS-U 2022 so I'm just gonna cramp everything here hahaha. Anyways, I got accepted into SeoulTech (Seoul National University of Science and Technology), I'll just refer to it as SNU lah untuk nyamankan hati pasal kena reject. HAHAHAHAHA please wah :'3 Click Me!

I chose SeoulTech as my final uni tho I do feel guilty for not choosing Daegu cos the interviewer was so nice and he even complemented about having TOPIK 2 eventho I've never been in Korea (maybe he doesn't know that Brunei also has TOPIK exams) but he was so sincere :( and the acceptance email was so cute, I can't. "I look forward to seeing you on campus of Daegu University" awwwwwww I'm so sorry, Mr! I do hesitate pulang which uni I wanna choose cos both are AMAZING AF but Daegu is so far away from Seoul and I'm afraid maybe... maybe lah ah.. they don't have like halal meat around (not that I know of) and the officer from the embassy also cakap like u need to have pakat Korean cos Daegu is like kampong-kampong and they might know a little English saja. I mean, yes.. I will be studying the language but who knows kaan? IDK maybe I'm just giving alasan. I do want to study at the capital :'3

Guys and Gals, I can't wait to start my GKS journey. Now, let's wait for the final result and semoga segala urusan dipermudahkan. AAMIIN YARRAB. *highkey praying that Politeknik graduation will be in January please~

Hey. So today's the 17th of December (the last day for the universities to give their decisions) and I received an email like 2 hrs ago from Seoul National University and yeah they rejected me. I'm a bit sad tbh, I didn't cry but more towards bersyukur? IDK why tho. I was looking forward to their dorms btw, their dorms are dope af lol but it's k. I believe that there's a hikmah behind this rejection and I believe in what is written in the books for me. Hence, I think this is why I didn't cry when I got that email. Yes, I'd be lying if I said I'm not sad and disappointed lol. Last year, SNU accepted someone with CRAFT as their major and I'm like having high expectations that Visual Comms would get thru but nah.. lol but it's k.. I believe in Allah swt.

Anyways, I'm still waiting for Seoultech to email me. It's already 16:27pm kst and this time, I'm hoping they'll accept me. IDK why I'm feeling like this. I'm having second thoughts for Daegu cos it's not located at the city, it's like located faaaaaaaaaaaaaar away from the capital and IDK man.. I chose Daegu cos the curriculums are dope and the dorms are cool too hahaha. But yeah, I'm still hoping for Seoultech. :')
