Watch as I catch up through various posts because I can’t bother watching the show, and then make canon divergent fic anyway.
Maybe. If I decide to write.

Marigami thingy
I’d like to think that when Kagami and Marinette are hanging out and the subject of Adrien is brought up, Marinette would be rambling on and on about Adrien and Kagami would be like:
“Marinette. Adrien isn’t here right now. I’m here. Focus on me.” She’d hold her face tightly with her hands, squishing both of Marinette’s cheeks.
And Marinette would blush heavily as she stutters out an “O-okay” and look away. Leaving Kagami to blush as she realized as she was doing and-
Yes. I ship it. What you gonna do about it?

So real quickie
I haven’t been caught up on the show and honestly… it’s getting hard to keep up with it. So anything that I write from now on may go against the canon. Sorry guys…

I mean… they’re not wrong
Interesting how the characters causing all the drama on Miraculous are girls. Interesting how four girls all like the same guy. Interesting how their main motivation for being mean to each other is because they’re competing for him. Interesting how he’s completely oblivious to this and is always painted in a positive light. Interesting how the main male character can get away with anything and not have to apologize for his mistakes. And by interesting I mean annoying and you know where I’m going with this

Marichat is my trash
Nope, that’s it. That’s the post.
Okay. But like… am I lying?
Can someone explain why I love Marichat to bits but I can’t stand Adrienette? No hate to the Adrienette fans but I think I just like their dynamic a lot better. Haha

Opinion that may be unpopular
I don’t really like Adrienette. I get the appeal, after all, he’s a model and she’s an ordinary girl, and also the dynamic that they potentially have can be really sweet. But…
I think it’s a problem that it’s really really forced at this point. As it stands, there’s not much progress between the two even though everyone is trying to get them together. And because of the ship ppl dislike a lot of the female characters that get in the way of that, even the less problematic ones (I don’t understand the Kagami hate at this point)
And the worst part is also how everyone around them is like, “they are made for each other” like, they’re soulmates or something, despite the fact that as it stands, Marinette still can’t talk to Adrien normally. Not to mention her stalker tendencies and her really possessive behavior towards him. No two people can be “made for each other”. It kinda sounds manipulative and personally diminishes the legitimacy of the pair.
(Spoiler alert: Kagami literally says “they are made for each other” and it left a bad taste in my mouth. I don’t like that the leftover people that hated her only now approve of her because she jumped on the bandwagon)
The worst of it all is that even if Marinette is trying to get over her feelings, her friends won’t let her. Look I get why they’re telling her not to give up but it seems like they’re trying to force her to do something she doesn’t feel comfortable doing. And personally, while I think she should be honest with her feelings, forcing her into trying to get with Adrien (especially after he just broke up with Kagami) is not okay. I don’t think she needs a boy right now. Right now she just needs support and maturity before she should try anything with Adrien.
Overall, as things stand, I can’t support the ship. To me it’s forced and very overplayed, and way too early for it to happen. Marinette and Adrien need to pull themselves together, and both of them need to see each other in a different light before anything can happen.
But then again, maybe I shouldn’t take it too seriously because it’s a kids show.
-Onion out.

A Rainy Day
Based on @sidsinning’s villainess au! I don’t know why it ended up angsty but it did XD
(btw idk if this is canon, so please take this with a grain of salt.)
It was a rainy day when the Dupain family heard of the queen's passing. The clouds weren't letting up, not a ray of sunshine in sight. Marinette peeked from behind the door as her parents read the letter, along with the carriage that was waiting for them to take them to the castle.
Marinette found it cliché, but she knew it was inevitable. There was nothing she could've done to prevent Adrien's mother from catching an illness no one could cure. The only thing she could do is be there for him. She huffed as she huddled to her mom, clutching onto her puffy sleeve.
She's torn. If she shows that she cares, would she accidentally change the story? From what she remembered, the Marinette from the book as pretty selfish and obsessed with her fiance. Even when his mother died, she used the opportunity to try to get closer to him, whispering that she'll never leave him. She still tried to use it as a way to win him over, a completely insensitive thing to do.
Why was the villainess so aggravating in this story? She didn't know.
The rain poured harder and harder during the journey. The small blue-haired child rested her head against her arm, watching the raindrops fall down. They were lucky enough that none of them went on her skirt. Her mother watched her as she tapped her finger against the door.
"Marinette," she called out.
"Yes?"
"Just be careful around the prince," she said. "He's going through a lot right now."
"Yes mother."
What could she do though? As much as she tried to be nice to avoid her death flags, she had no idea how he felt about her. Yes he was being nice to her, but could it be that he was just being polite? But then again, his smile seemed genuine when he was around her. She was torn.
-.-
The carriage came to a stop. Immediately she saw the scary lady in spectacles, followed by the gorilla looking guard. "Thank you for attending," she greeted as she bowed at them. Marinette avoided eye contact as she was led away from the vehicle.
When they were escorted to the garden where the burial was being held, the first thing she saw was the prince, holding onto his father's shirt. The king had his hand on the boy's shoulder, not saying a word. Adrien had his back turned, possibly staring at the coffin in front of them. Her mother pushed her gently away from her and to the prince.
With a heavy heart, she slowly inched her way towards prince Adrien. Each step felt heavier and heavier as the child contemplated over what she wanted to say to him. As much as she wanted to be close, she knew it would never happen. But he really needed a friend. But then again, was she enough? She was just a villainess, someone who will be irrelevant the moment the heroine shows up she-
Too late. She tapped his shoulder.
Adrien didn't respond for a while. She gulped when she tapped him again. He shrugged it off and immediately the young girl yelped in fright. "I apologize Your Highne-"
The prince turned around then. "Marinette?" he said letting go of his father. His eyes were wide eyed, his arms lowering to his side. Marinette took a step back. Did she startle him?
"Uhhh, umm…" She looked to the ground, her hands still up in defense. "Hello, Your Highness."
Adrien frowned when he heard those words. Then, tugging on the sleeve of his father, he whispered something in his ear. Did Marinette do something wrong? She could feel her body tremble as Adrien returned her gaze. "Marinette, can you come with me?"
Marinette slowly nodded her head as the prince reached out for his hand and slowly pulled her away from the scene. Marinette's eyes widened as the boy tugged her away from the burial, away from the crowd. She didn't even realize her dress was getting wet the further they went. "Um, A-Adrien," she called out as he continued pulling her further and further into the garden. He ignored her cry and continued pulling her in. She couldn't help but panic as the bushes began looking way too similar. It was almost a maze.
"Um, Adrien, I just wanted to say that I'm sorry for your loss I-"
It was then the prince stopped her. She stared at the child's back before taking in the sight. A wall of roses surrounded them, and in the middle was a resting area covered in vines. The rain was still pouring hard, and her frilly black dress was soaked in the misery. "Marinette?"
"Y-yes?"
He immediately pulled her into his arms, causing the girl to nearly malfunction. The rain continued to fall, a soft ambience covering the cries from the other side. "I'm sorry Marinette," he said, his voice growing weak.
Without even thinking, the blue-haired girl wrapped her arms around him, patting his back. "I'm sorry, Adrien," she whispered, her throat slightly closing up as she continued to rub his back in circles. "About your mom."
"There was nothing you could do about it," he said softly, slightly squeezing her as he hid sniffle or two.
"You… you have her eyes. And her smile."
She remembered when she saw him and his sickly mother, the way he smiled at her. The way he talked to her with light in his eyes. She remembered when he would go to the small piano in her room, playing songs that she knew. Love. It was love.
The thought of it broke her heart.
"She loves you," she said softly. "Even now." And of course she knew. Even with the little backstory she knew of the character, she must've loved and cared for her little prince.
Marinette felt him bury his face onto her shoulder. He was a bit taller than her, but it didn't matter. That moment, she felt a bit of warmth despite her soaked clothes. The two of them didn't speak afterwards, embracing each other as he cried softly into her shoulder, the little boy that tried to be strong in front of everyone. She softly patted his back, her thoughts wandering away from him.
It all still felt like a dream. His warmth, his vulnerability, his affection. One day, it'll be taken away from her.
She mentally shook her head. No matter what, she should never fall for the prince. Never.
Because she knew that the more she fell for him, the harder she'll break when she finally woke up.
(Once again, credits to @sidsinning! I hope I get to write more of this au, if you’ll let me XD)

Idky, but I’m in a julerose mood.
Like, I’m a sucker for the goth x happy dynamic. Bonus points for the purple and pink mix. They’re so cute and I wish I saw more of them.
One day I wanna write a drabble with the both of them and none of you will stop me.
Okay, end of mini rant XD

Marichat short :D
A/N: I wrote this a while ago, so I hope you enjoy! I’m planning on doing a couple of things revolving around the Adrien Marinette Chat Ladybug relationship, but it’ll probably wouldn’t be until summer break that I actually begin to write it XD
Adrien sighs as he stares at the night sky behind the glass walls of his room. Once again, he’s all alone on this lovely night.
He held up a rose that he picked for his one true love, or so he thought. It was a long time ago, but he can still remember the day clearly when she told him that she couldn’t take it anymore and left him on the rooftop.
Why? Why was she so afraid? He knows that she has the whole city of Paris to protect, but sometimes he wished she can tell him, they were dating after all.
The moon shines brightly above them. Turning his head, Adrien spots Plagg, sleeping on the edge of the bed peacefully.
“Plagg,” he calls out softly.
A moment of silence. Adrien raises his voice slightly louder trying to wake up the lazy Kwami. Of course, no response.
Adrien chuckles as he thinks up quickly of an idea. “I have… I have some Camembert for you if you wake up.”
“Mmm, Camembert…” the little creature begins to stir in his sleep, his eye slightly opening at the sound of a delicious yet smelly treat being offered to him.
Adrien sits up from the bed and from the ledge, takes a piece of camembert cheese to offer to his little companion. Plagg practically floats from his sleeping space, lured towards the cheese. When the Kwami finally gains consciousness, he notices the boy wide awake.
“Plagg?” Adrien calls out to him again.
“What is it?” he replies, snatching the cheese from his fingers and popping it into his mouth. “You better have a good reason for waking me up this late.”
Adrien stares out his window again in awe.
“How would you like to go on an evening stroll?”
-.-
Marinette can’t sleep. If it’s from worrying all night about Hawkmoth or the fact that she is now the new Guardian of the Miraculous, she doesn’t know. The rest of the Kwami are all sound asleep, their soft breaths comforting her as she sits from her bed. The moon is especially bright tonight.
“Marinette?” Tikki calls out to her. “Is something wrong?”
The girl in question smiles sadly at the little creature. “No it’s fine. I, I think I just need a bit of fresh air.”
“Is this about Adrien again?”
Marinette pauses, takes in a deep breath, and lets it out. The painful memory comes back to her, but she shoves it away mentally as she shakes her head. “No, it’s not that Tikki,” she says softly. “I just…” She just, what? She doesn’t know.
“I’m going out. Watch the others for me, Tikki, okay?”
“Okay,” she says quietly as the girl slowly crawls out of bed. Marinette slowly climbs down, making sure to keep herself quiet as she makes her way to the balcony on her roof. The room is dark, everything a scattered mess. Her designs are all over the place, filled with notes of frustration as she can’t completely focus on them. She nearly slips on a paper, carefully picking it up before the others could wake up and notice her absence.
Once she opens the window and climbs out, she notices someone sitting on her balcony ledge, admiring the moon as it shines brightly. She recognizes his black cat ears, blonde hair, his over silhouette.
“Chat Noir,” Marinette calls out. “What are you doing here?”
The hero in question nearly falls over as soon as he hears the voice, losing balance and wobbling forward. Marinette gasps as she runs over to help him but he miraculously pulls himself up, launching himself high up in the air with a flip and landing safely on his feet.
She stumbles upon him, her body nearly crashing onto his. He’s lucky enough to grab the ledge to stop the both of them from flying over.
Marinette widens her eyes in shock. “I’m so sorry!” she squeals. “Are you okay?”
Chat laughs at their predicament. “My Lady, you’re very clumsy,” he says with a slight smile, his green catlike eyes softly glowing under the moonlight. She notices his soft gaze and pulls away nervously.
“I- uhhh, Chat, why are you here?” she asks as she straightens herself, wiping herself off of any dust. Chat himself leans slightly against the ledge in response.
He shrugs. “I like the view from your place. It’s my favorite place to return to when I patrol.”
She arches an eyebrow. “Oh really?” she asks in disbelief. She crosses her arms with a half smile on her face. “You’ve been coming here a lot more often.”
“You’ve noticed?” he replies, scratching his head with his free hand in embarrassment. “I’m sorry if I’m disturbing you.”
“No it’s fine,” she says, meeting him on the ledge, his gaze following her. “I enjoy your company sometimes.”
“Oh?” the young hero blinks. “Well I’m honored to be in your presence.”
“Don’t push it,” Marinette teases, releasing another breath. Her tired eyes wander over to meet his, his endearing gaze making her flush slightly. “Um… well, I…”
“You don’t need to say anything if you don’t want to. But please, I’d like your company for a little bit before I go.”
The teen stares helplessly into the hero’s eyes, filled with an emotion she can’t quite place. “You don’t even have to talk.”
“It’s fine.” Marinette returns to gazing at the open sky. “It’s nice today. No akumatizations tonight. It looks like you get to have a break.
He smiles. “Yeah.”

Dumb head canon/meh theory
I don’t think Adrien’s mom is a good person, or at least the angel that we seem to think she is.
Idk, considering her family is already sketchy. Her aunt and nephew seem like manipulative individuals. And considering what happened in the Shanghai special, ppl are beginning to theorize that Mr. Agreste was planning of doing something else with the miraculouses before Emilie was even inside that… coffin thing.
I might be overthinking about this. But oh well.

So what is Gabriel's true goal?
So when I (and like 99% of people probably) found out that Hawky and The Bestest Father of the show are the same person, it seemed clear that his goal was to bring his wife back. The coffin-like thingy was a proof of that intention.
But...
Shanghai spoilers below!
15 years?! What?
So there were some hints that the Agrestes had some something on their mind after having acquired the miraculous and the book, because Emily got sick BECAUSE of using the Peacock miraculous. And we have no idea what she was using it for (although the sentimonster Adrien theory is heartbreakingly appealing to me).
So it means they had some goal before Adrien even, and it's something Gabriel's ready to kill for. I think it's the first time in the show he directly had someone killed. Because the akuma damage is reversible, what he did to Fei's adoptive father isn't.
So what is he trying to achieve?
What's his ultimate goal?
Definitely not to bring back his wife, who apparently is in comma because of that goal.
What is he aiming at????
I'd love to hear your ideas!
(Because I can't phantom any valid reason.)
