I know that it is slightly late. But, best wishes to Chris Weidman. These are the situations that we talk about with injuries. These are the injuries that can cripple, not just physically if not handled properly, but mentally as well. Hopefully he recovers both physically and mentally from this and that he has a strong support system who keep tabs on both aspects.
