A broken mindset left untreated can break one’s spirit. This kind of suffering is invisible so the stranger next to you could be suffering from it. You have more suffering than we will know. The course of treatment available for a physical injury and one that exists in the mind will be different, but both require some attention. Make sure whatever you are feeling you are talking to someone about it even if it is a trusted friend, family member, colleague or a therapist. Sometimes an individual can be left feeling isolated just because they would like to seek help but have no proper or safe outlet for it. This happens in social settings, workplaces and even schools. So whilst we can take steps to talk about things more, it is hoped that eventually this would spread across all spheres of life and different work sectors too because more will try to be aware. If you are part of an organisation, you can help as an individual in your own right too and open up the doors to long term solutions so that people are not suffering in silence.
