The abbreviation MTF stands for male-to-female, this is used for people who have been assigned the gender male even though they are female.

The abbreviation MTF focuses on a transition “from one gender to the other”. For many trans and non-binary people, however, these terms do not apply to their gender awareness. They don't “switch” from one gender to another, which is why these abbreviations are misleading. These people have always belonged to the gender that corresponds to their gender awareness. However, they were assigned the wrong gender or an incompletely descriptive gender after birth. The abbreviations are mainly used in the medical and legal fields.

FTF stands for “female-to-female”. The abbreviation is sometimes used by trans * women who deny that they should ever have been male

Polyamory is a form of love life in which one person loves several people and maintains a love relationship with each of them, whereby this fact is known to everyone involved and is also mutually beneficial. Polyamorous relationships are based on the intention to create the desired relationships with one another in the long term and trusting, usually they include infatuation, tenderness and sexuality. In this way, polyamory is clearly differentiated from “free love”, which is far more open to purely physical relationships.

In my opinion, I do not think that it belongs to LGBTQ, as it is a form of relationship and is not about sexuality or gender.

I don't want to attack anyone with it or step on the tie who has the feeling that it belongs to LGBTQ.

It just doesn't make sense to me, maybe someone will enlighten me.

Maybe it is just a personal feeling, but if it is a hetero couple I don't find how it should belong to LGBTQ.
