Like someone who's called Vinny and then you find out his nickname is not short for Vincent but is actually short for Vindication

There's something so funny about rushing to write down an idea with as many details as your mind can generate, afraid you'll lose something great if you don't document as much as you can, and then coming back to the idea and going "This sucks. Why did I want to preserve all this?"

The novel illustration I'm currently working on is one of my most ambitious illustrations so far. I'm very happy with how it's turning out and it's gonna be so great when I can show off the finished piece in May!

When I started off writing I was very loose and sloppy with my worldbuilding, so now that I'm actually being thorough for once with a story it almost feels like overcompensating

#i am still being a bit lazy because I only gave two fake languages to planet earth and they're both ones I made up for purple pond #meanwhile all of earth's real langauges are getting scattered about other planets #but at least I'm deciding this BEFORE I finish writing chapters where some of my worldbuilding might have been good to know

Every so often I think about which project I'm going to pick up as my new active project to work on alongside Purple Pond after TMMD is done, and regardless of what I settle on, it is definitely going to be another big, years long production process idea
