I’ve been really interested in learning how to draw twists and locs lately, so I drew some practice sketches using myself and my hairstyles as a reference. I’m curious to know which ones people like best since I tried different methods with drawing some of the twists. I’ll probably color it and add library digitally. I might add faces too, but I’m thinking about experimenting with different styles of drawing eyes. I decided to add the lineart and color for my sketch of deku 🙂

I usually suck at drawing anime, but I think I'm slowly getting better. Unfortunately, I accidentally started the library on the sketch layer, so I kinda had to keep the background, but hopefully it looks cool with the sketchbook page in the background.

Here’s the finished drawing of Verosika. I made one version of her with a ponytail and another of her with short hair because I thought it might be a cute look for her. I also made two different backgrounds, so there are four versions total.

This drawing was meant to be a part of a larger comic that I wanted to make. I had the idea of Luz looking around for materials to make a Halloween costume, and Amity finds her and asks her what she's doing. Luz then tells Amity all about Halloween and how it's celebrated in the human realm. Then Amity and Luz decide to try on different costumes together, one of them being witch costumes. They would then go on to try on other costumes before settling on one that they both like.

I didn't have enough time to create the other pages before Halloween, so I decided to just post this one.
