This is neither the time nor the place to say this, but I'm going to anyway:
My family used to have this old Christmas nativity scene snow globe. It was very unimpressive, until one year as we went to unpack the decorations we discovered that baby Jesus had somehow detached from his crib thingy and was just kind of a floater. Me and my sisters would shake it up fast and watch the baby Jesus zip in front and behind the manger, just a blur of blizzard and baby. With the right skill, you could even land him in the cradle after a good swirl. We played with that thing for hours. It was truly a treasure.
Eventually, that is many years later, my mother had finally had reached the limit that her good Christian soul could take watching us rediscover and play with that snow globe and threw it in the garbage.
Today is consecutive DAY 5,251 of my new art everyday journey. Here's my April (month 172) recap. I am so grateful to share this art with all of you. Thank you so much for lending me your eyeballs.
