I just thought about how Atsumu would 100% do the Baby Mama dance with his partner and post it on social media, and it would definitely go viral

Playing Monopoly Pt. 2
This is the second part to a request o got about how the boys would play Monopoly.
My Masterlist
Tumblr media
Oikawa:
>He’s another one of those who gets like weirdly serious about it. And he is absolutely stone-cold heartless, even when he’s playing with you. He’ll wring you dry for every single dollar you owe him, even if it means you have to mortgage every piece of property you own to pay him. He also researches the best properties to buy and goes in for the oranges and railroads.
Atsumu:
>He always manages to roll doubles and go to jail and the most convenient times. Everyone has a lot of houses out and he’s out of money? He oh so perfectly lands in jail for a few turns to buy himself some time, hoping that other players have to sell their houses before he gets out.
Noya:
>Will only play if there’s the house rule where you get money for landing on free parking. He doesn’t care how much it is, but he plays like the goal of the game is to get that money—nothing else. Unfortunate this usually means he trades good cards in exchange for favors to get closer to free parking.
Kenma:
>He likes the digital monopoly with the credit cards. He says it helps the banker to keep from cheating and it’s a lot easier to keep track of things, but honestly… He just likes the fact that a classic game was made the slightest bit digital. He might get bored halfway through, but he’ll play the game to completion.
Asahi:
>He’s way too nice when it comes to Monopoly. You don’t have enough to pay off a full debt? He’ll just take whatever you can give him. He likes to give out chances, and unfortunately, it usually costs him the game. He also always plays as the thimble, for some reason.

Hi 👋 I just wanted to say that your writing is amazing! Especially the "head empty just.." collection, my fav has to be "Lev and the concert" I'm really short so I would love for someone tall to carry me on their shoulders >.<
Anyway I was wondering if i could make a request :: How hq boys would be/act while playing monopoly? (I hope this request is ok 😬 feel free to choose the characters) Thank you 💖
Awe, thank you so much! I really enjoy that collection as well (and Lev is just a sweet pea that deserves more love and attention).
Here’s what I came up with for the first part. I’m gonna make it a total of four parts, because this was fun to think about. I also included Lev in part one because, well… Yeah.
Thank you so much for sending this sweet message and requesting! 💙

Playing Monopoly Pt. 1
Warning: SLIGHT!Spoiler for Timeskip!Daichi if you are unaware of his profession. You’ve been warned.
My Masterlist
Lev:
>It depends on who he’s playing against. If it’s just a casual game with you, he’s pretty generous towards the later game. If he has a hotel and you can’t pay all of it, he’ll just accept whatever you can manage. Whoever wins, wins. Now, when it’s a serious game with say, Hinata (or someone he really wants to challenge), he’s ruthless. He demands every single dollar that is owed to him. He also doesn’t quit until someone has won. And if he wins, oh boy, he brags for days.
Bokuto:
>Sweet boy really does try his best but he’s not the best at valuing properties in a trade. He once traded all of his properties to get Boardwalk so that he could complete the dark blue set. Then he dropped all of his money on it, and they were the only pieces of land he owned. By the time someone landed on them, he’d had to sell his houses to pay for landing on other properties, so he didn’t make much off of them. Needless to say, he tries, but he’s usually the first person who goes bankrupt.
Suga:
>Oh, he goes all in on Monopoly Night. He brings plenty of snacks, because he’s in it for the long game. He’s generally goes for the greens and oranges, as he feels like those are the ones that get landed on the most. He will also trade or sell the utilities if he gets them, because he doesn’t think they have much value. He is very particular and strategizes very hard, so if you’re gonna play with him you better be in it for the long haul. He’s another of the ones the play through completion, and he won’t let you quit even if it’s three in the morning and you’d like to forfeit.
Suna:
>He likes the shortened version of the game—the one where you deal out the properties at random and trade what you want before the game begins. He likes the game, but having to go through such a long process gets boring to him, so starting off with all the properties out keeps him from growing bored too fast. Somehow he manages to hit just about every community chest possible, too. Once the game starts tipping in one person’s favor too much, he’s likely to try to call it game over instead of playing through bankruptcy. If you’re not super into Monopoly or just like a quick game without the stress, Suna is the guy to play with.
Daichi:
>He’s the type to get weirdly serious about Monopoly. He’ll check the manual or google it if there are any questions or debates up about rules, as he wants it to be the fairest game possible. He’s the type to lay out all of the house rules before the game even begins, so that halfway through a game no one can say they didn’t know a rule or try to make something up. He also finds it extremely ironic when he gets sent to jail. In all, he likes playing the game as it’s made to be played.

Sunscreen Responsibly Pt. 2
You’re out on a vacation. Who wears sunscreen as it’s intended? Who tries but doesn’t apply enough? Who flat out forgoes it?
My Masterlist
Tumblr media
Kita:
>He puts on sunscreen pretty regularly. Maybe not very few hours on the dot, but within about thirty minutes of it. He also puts on extra if he gets wet, so he pretty well avoids a burn.
Tsuki:
>He’ll put on the highest SPF he can find and sits out in the sun for about an hour, maybe two, before heading back inside for a while. He repeats this process throughout the trip, so you honestly don’t see him out in the direct sunlight that much.
Noya:
>He’s the type to say he doesn’t need sunscreen the first day. By the time he’s already nice and roasted, he decides that maybe he should put some on for the rest of the trip. That initial burn just gets worse throughout the trip, and he leaves very burnt and in pain.
Kuroo:
>He sunscreens up, but honestly not as often as he should. If you remind him, he’ll throw on some more, but otherwise he does get a little pink. When he starts to feel it, he hides away under a canopy. He leaves with a sunburnt face and arms.
Bokuto:
>He gets so excited about the trip that he completely forgoes sunscreen. You don’t even think you see him apply it once during the whole trip unless you do it for him. He leaves with blisters already forming on his back and shoulders, and he complains about it for the next few days.

Sunscreen Responsibly Pt. 1
You’re out on a vacation. Who wears sunscreen as it’s intended? Who tries but doesn’t apply it enough? Who flat out forgoes it?
My Masterlist
Tumblr media
Asahi:
>He puts it on every few hours, and it’s a pretty decent SPF. He might leave with a slight tan and the slightest bit of pinkness, but he’s definitely not burned.
Suna:
>He’ll put it on once and then just sit under a canopy or umbrella the whole time. He’s not in the direct sunlight so he doesn’t need to apply more, is his argument. He leaves with burnt toes because they were sticking out from under the umbrella.
Yamaguchi:
>He’s pretty good about putting some on whenever he thinks he needs it. He might forget for a few hours, but the moment he realizes, he’ll stop what he’s doing and reapply. He leaves with red shoulders, but the rest of his skin is safe.
Akaashi:
>He applies a high SPF sunscreen every two hours on the dot, whether he’s out in the sun or under a canopy. He leaves with no tan and no redness, like an absolute psychopath.
Hinata:
>He puts it on once at the beginning of the day and then forgets the entire rest of the day. By the second or third day of the trip, he’s gotten a little better (but not much) at applying more regularly. He leaves extremely burnt, and he regrets it.

> Noya, Asahi, Daichi, Kenma, Lev, Akaashi, Iwa, Hinata, Kageyama, Tsuki, Yamaguchi, Tanaka
Melanie’s No Way List:
>These boys will not make an appearance in any of my work, solely because I don’t like them or don’t like writing about them.
> Yaku, Ushijima, Tendou, Goshiki

Head empty, just Atsumu scrolling through his phone and looking at pictures you’ve taken. Any time he comes across one, he favorites it and then zooms in on your ass for a moment before tipping his sunglasses down and looking you over. He counts himself very lucky that he can see the real thing whenever he wants.

Kenma Can’t Watch
Kenma has a hard time watching others play games, especially if they don’t do it the “right” way. Here’s a drabble of what it would be like as an inexperienced Genshin Impact player with Kenma.
My Masterlist
Tumblr media
“Your Diluc hits like a wet noodle,” Kenma remarks dryly, his distaste obvious as he watches you fight some hilichurls onscreen.
“I just hit one for 800!” you return indignantly. “That’s not bad!”
“Mine is ten levels below yours and consistently hits for around 5000, about 9000 when he lands a crit,” he states, his gaze turning to you.
“Well, he’s not fully built yet,” you mumble, frowning. “And you also have his fancy sword. I don’t.”
“That may play a part in the damage,” he admits reluctantly, “but not enough. Your artifacts are probably awful, and you probably haven’t been leveling his talents.”
“My artifacts are good!” you exclaim, and his eyebrows raise. “I have five star artifacts on him!”
“Just being a five star doesn’t mean much,” he sighs, gesturing for your controller. “Let me see.”
You pass the controller to him, and he maneuvers to the artifact screen. He audibly groans at the first one he sees.
“This is double defense and HP,” he says, looking at you. “This artifact is trash. Doesn’t even matter what the fourth stat is.”
He moves to the next one, making similar comments.
“What the actual fuck is this?” he asks, pinching his brow as he looks at the fourth one.
“It’s not that bad,” you protest, and he glances at you for a moment before sighing heavily.
“It’s a cryo damage main stat,” he says quietly, like he’s waiting for you to make a connection. “On your Diluc.”
“But it’s the Crimson Witch set,” you return, pointing. “I need that for him.”
“Diluc is pyro. Cryo does nothing for him. You’d be better off with something with a different main stat,” he explains. “These substats are actually pretty decent. The crit rate and elemental mastery are nice. But this is not good for him.”
He switches a few things around and levels some artifacts up, then passes the controller back.
“There. You can at least function with that,” he exhales, rubbing his forehead. “But you need to farm for better Crimson Witch pieces.”
“I don’t like doing that,” you mumble, and he sighs heavily.
“And I guess you don’t like being good at this game,” he states with a roll of his eyes, and you frown.
“I’ve never played a game like this,” you say, setting your controller down in your lap. “You don’t have to be mean.”
“I’ve tried to help you before and you never listen to me, and then you want to complain that your characters aren’t good,” he rants.
“I didn’t complain that they’re bad,” you retort, brows furrowing as he tries to make it sound like you were the cause of his grumpy attitude. “You were the one that didn’t like how my Diluc was hitting. I didn’t say a thing about him.”
“If you just listened to me—“
“I don’t want to play the game and just do it how you say,” you cut him off. “There’s no point in me playing it if my freedom is gone and I just copy you. I want to play how I want to play.”
“But it’s not the most optimized way,” he groans, rubbing his forehead again.
“I don’t care about the most optimized way,” you tell him. “I have fun doing it my way. You’re making me feel bad for not doing it your way.”
He sighs, looking at you for a moment.
“Maybe I’d be more inclined to change things around if you were nicer and explained things to me instead of just trying to make me do it,” you add, giving him a look.
“Why can’t you just trust what I say?” he asks.
“Because I want to understand why doing some things are better than others,” you tell him.
He takes a moment. “Okay.”
“Thank you,” you exhale, returning to the artifact screen. “So explain to me what these all mean. We can start there.”

The Ex Pt. 4
Your ex sees you out and about and tries to hit you back up. How do the boys respond?
My Masterlist
Tumblr media
Asahi:
>He’ll just mention offhandedly that it’s not likely that you and your ex will get back together. When they ask why, he’ll just gesture to himself. After they leave, he’ll deflate a little, and you have to give him extra cuddles for being so manly against your ex.
Osamu:
>He’s the type to just laugh when your ex is shooting their shot. He’ll then follow it with some comment about learning to move on, because he isn’t going anywhere. For good measure, he’ll kiss you right in front of them.
Kuroo:
>He’ll loop an arm around your shoulder and lean down to whisper something about how he thinks your ex is hitting on you, but he isn’t sure, right in your ear. When you laugh, he’ll just click his tongue and look up to your ex, then proclaim that he’s still got it and they don’t have a chance.
Tsuki:
>He’s the type to look your ex over with disinterest and then back to you. He’ll probably make some remark about your taste in partners, and then he’ll leave the situation. All you’ve got to do is follow him and you don’t have to deal with your ex.
Atsumu:
>He’ll just loop an arm around your waist and pull you into him, giving your ex a wicked grin. He knows his face is popular and there’s no way they haven’t seen him. Then he’ll follow with some small threat of promising to imagine your ex’s face when he spikes at his next game before leading you away.

The Ex Pt. 3
Your ex sees you out and about and tries to hit you back up. How do the boys respond?
My Masterlist
Tumblr media
Kita:
>He’s a gentleman about it and tells the other person that you’re already in a happy and fulfilling relationship. His hand is interlaced with yours the entire time so that if your ex doesn’t take no for an answer, he can easily whisk you away without starting any conflict.
Lev:
>He’ll take a moment to realize what you ex is doing, but when he does, he stretches out to his full height to look more intimidating. That usually does the trick, but if it doesn’t, he’ll scoop you up like it’s nothing and carry you away, making sure that your ex can see that they have no chance at taking him on.
Suga:
>He’s the kind of person that would just start flirting with your ex to make them uncomfortable. The way he sees it, they have no problem making you uncomfy, so why can’t he do it to them? His hands might also get a little wandering and cup your butt to pull you closer, right in front of your ex.
Kageyama:
>He might be a little oblivious at first, but when he picks up on your attitude change toward an ex, he’s quick to move. He’ll loop an arm around your waist and just guide you away, throwing glares to your ex the whole time.
Noya:
>He’s definitely gonna cause a scene. He’ll call your ex out for all the things they’ve done to you, and then follow it up with some question about if they really think you’d give them another shot. The whole time, he also moves himself in front of you as a personal block between you and your ex.

The Ex Pt. 2
Your ex sees you out and about and tries to hit you back up. How do the boys respond?
My Masterlist
Tumblr media
Oikawa:
>He’s definitely the type to belittle your ex. He’ll make comments about how he’s better looking, probably taller, has way better sex, everything. And then he’ll pull you away with a wink over his shoulder at your ex, just to piss them off a little more.
Tanaka:
>He knows you can handle it, he does. But he can’t keep himself from going a little crazy when it comes to your ex. He’ll stare your ex down, not even blinking, until they get so weirded out that they leave you alone. And then he’ll return to his usual simp self.
Iwa:
>He’ll probably call your ex some kind of name and then sling an arm around your shoulder and kiss your temple for good measure. When he walks away, he’s sure to bump into your ex to make them stumble, just so he can assert his dominance.
Yamaguchi:
>He’s the type to ignore your ex. Like, pretend they aren’t even there ignore. He’ll keep talking to you like normal, steering you away from your ex in the process. When he’s away from them, he’ll let out a little sigh of relief that it didn’t come down to some kind of conflict.
Daichi:
>He’ll politely but firmly tell your ex that you’re not interested. If they keep at it, he’ll take your hand in his and try to lead you away. He has to avoid the situation, because the thought of someone trying to take you away makes him want to throw hands.

The Ex Pt. 1
Your ex sees you out and about and tries to hit you back up. How do the boys respond?
My Masterlist
Tumblr media
Akaashi:
>He’ll casually looks the person over, then at you. If you have the situation handled, he’s fine to leave it at that. If you need his help, he’ll slide his hand through yours and introduce himself as the current (and final) boyfriend before leading you away.
Bokuto:
>He’ll be a bit of a big mouth about your relationship when he comes across an ex. He’ll mention how happy you are, and how much he satisfies you, and how the ex has no chance for another shot with you. After the ex leaves, he’ll make sure he didn’t overstep, but even if you’re a little mad, his confidence wins you over.
Hinata:
>He’ll make it a point to kiss you on the cheek in front of your ex. Then he’ll grin like he’s pretending to be nice, but it’s more of a how-could-you-ever-compare-to-a-pro-volleyball-player look. Then he’ll guide you somewhere else, where he doesn’t have to act all macho.
Suna:
>He’s the kind to let you handle your ex unless you need his intervention. He’ll just watch, an arm looped around your side with his hand in your back pocket. If needed, he’ll pull you into his chest so you hold onto him and then just wink at your ex before walking away without saying a word.
Kenma:
>He doesn’t really feel threatened by your ex, but he is a little conniving. He encourages you to try to get a dinner date planned, and then when the day comes around, he just shows up with you. He might make some comment about the quality of the restaurant if it isn’t to his liking, then invites you to somewhere much nicer, so that you can ditch your ex after having made his presence known.

Head empty, just Atsumu learning a TikTok dance with you after you’ve spent a week begging him to. Surprisingly, he’s very good at it, and it’s only after you post the video and people start commenting that you notice he’s made a suggestive gesture toward you in the dance.
