Hi Lele-san, what is the difference between Gojo's Curse technique lapse Maximum energy output and Geto's Maximum technique? They're both maximum output of cursed energy with two different names right?
(Also the shipping anon is so on point, thank you anon it should be common knowledge in anime fandom but western fans in every Asian media's fandom think they're superior to us and they get to dictate what's right or wrong. A lot of them are young and have no idea of fandom history let alone cultural. It's racist and the problem nowadays is that they don't get called out or shamed for it like they used to a few years ago. Everybody's too arrogant to see when they're wrong and they have to learn some things to be considered good people by those who aren't already their fans. If it makes sense. Everyone has those friends who support their bad behavior and they think "Since this is life for the next few years we don't have to think about the future when we have to talk to people in real world who will have a different reaction, world is going to hell and we can be jerks till the last day." It's called doomerism, they have no hope so they think they won't have to face any backlash offline. Sorry I went philosophical, it's not just a tiny part of this fandom it's everywhere and affects real people and our jobs, society, collective thinking etc too.)
Hi!
I think the japanese version is more clear on the difference between the two
Tumblr media
Maximum energy output in the original version is 出力最大 (jutsuryoku saidai, lit. "maximum output"). It's not actually another type of technique, just Gojou is exerting his Blue technique as high as he can, compared to his usual output.
Tumblr media
On the other hand, Maximum technique is originally 極ノ番 (goku no ban, lit. "extreme number"). Like domain expansion, it's another form of "peak" of one's curse technique. A curse technique user seems to only can master one of the peaks, either domain expansion or maximum. Only Jogo who can do both so far.
(I don't want to further this discourse but anyway, yeah. If only the western fandom can just leave everyone alone, it'll be better. But they likes to police stuff. We're here just to have fun)

Ishida Sui & Takahashi Kunimitsu 20/12/21 Stream Translation (requested) Part 5
This is not the full translation of the stream. I only translated the parts I could understand & interpret or parts I found interesting/important. I’m still a beginner in Japanese, so the translations may not be accurate. I apologise for any grammatical errors.
—————————————————————————————–
notes:
I = Ishida Sui, K = Takahashi Kunimitsu
* = Translation may not be accurate
Ishida Sui and Takahasi Kunimitsu on responsibility
C: Sensei, honestly speaking, have you ever thought newbie mangaka are inspired by you when you read their one-shots?
I: I don’t know about that since I’ve never had the chance to read one. However, there are a few people around me that have become mangaka and following my style. When I saw that, I thought they’re copying me.
K: (laughs)
I: I asked my staffs’ opinions about it. I did have that kind of thought. Other than that, I’m not really familiar with the current manga, let alone the chance to read newbies’ works. People who judge their works might have the opportunity to do so. They did ask me to be the judge for new manga when I was doing TG, but I rejected it since I was a shitty bastard.
K: That’s a big responsibility, after all. Someone’s life could be changed because of that.
I: That’s right. I did think it might be worth it, but the me at the time was just a novice and felt unqualified to judge. I might get hated, so I rejected the offer. I still am to this day.
K: Would you accept if they offer you now?
I: I might reject it due to different reasons. I want to use the time I have to do other things. I want to concentrate on myself. If the same thing happened to you, would you accept it?
K: I could give my opinion on whether it’s good or bad, or whether I like it or not. But I wouldn’t know how that person’s gonna turn out in the future. So, it’s hard to give judgment whether that person’s qualified or not. I could only judge them based on the quality of their submitted song.
I: I think that’s absolutely fine. After all, evaluation requires your current judgment.
K: Then, it’s not an evaluation of the person because I only rely on that one song.
I: Well, that’s the way it is. It’ll be too much to handle if we think about their future. We can only judge their capabilities through the works they submit. It’s like an exam.
K: That’s why, I think it’s too big of a responsibility.
I: Yeah, it is. There are things that could help us prepare in taking such big responsibility. We could train ourselves, in the first place. I did think I might’ve run away from responsibility too much. Maybe I should’ve looked at them.
Ishida Sui and Takahashi Kunimitsu on self-love
K: I wanna be good at love.
I: Are you (laughs)? I see, you wanna be good at love.
K: Seriously.
I: (laughs) There’s no good or bad in love.
K: I wanna get along with myself. I wanna love myself more (laughs).
I: (laughs) Why? But I get you (laughs). Ultimately, you can’t love another person if you don’t love yourself.
K: I’m really bad at loving myself, so I wanna be good at it.
I: Which part of you, you don’t like? Go look in the mirror (laughs).
K: (laughs)
I: Tell me. Which part? You have two eyes, a mouth, and a pair of ears. So, which part of you can’t be loved (laughs)? What is it you don’t like about yourself?
K: I’d feel worthless.
I: Everyone feels that.
K: They do. However, I can’t become stronger if I told myself I’m not.
I: People think before they act about a lot of things. But when they think too much, they can’t have a wrestling match with the other party.
K: (laughs) So, I’ve been doing Sumo all by myself.
I: The other party might wanna have arguments. When you guys argue, you might realise the other party doesn’t think of you the same way as you do. You might be able to love yourself more, right? That way, you can destroy the labels you’ve put about yourself one by one. Then, you’d gradually love yourself. **
**t/n: Just to make it clearer in case it’s hard for you to understand what he said. He basically meant Takahashi Kunimitsu cares too much about what people think of him, so he often being cautious of what he says or does. However, if he just be himself, he may realise that people are actually okay with it.
K: I had been doing sumo alone all this while. I was the one thinking badly about myself.
I: You’re like that sometimes.
K: Me? Then, I’ll be careful from now on (laughs).
I: (laughs) Try to do it.
I: There’s a lot of things where we think too much. After all, it’s terrifying to be hated because you did something or say something weird. It’s okay to say something weird once. The other party might not give a damn about it. You’d realise it’s not something bad. Of course, there are times when the opposite happens.
K: Then, tomorrow I’ll buy a cake (laughs).
I: (laughs) Why are you buying cake?
K: I wanna spoil myself.
I: That’s good. Go buy some cake.
K: A reward for myself.
I: That was funny. Buying cake seems like a happy thing. People only buy cakes on joyful days, after all.
K: It’s like a symbol of happiness.
I: Everyone, go buy a cake precisely when you’re down. Buy the one from cake shop.

Kimetsu no Yaiba Fanbook Two Taisho Rumors: Demons
Tumblr media
Please bookmark this post for more information. Also please credit me+this post if you will be retranslating this to other languages and will be posting this to other sites. Please also take the fan translations here with a grain of salt. PLEASE DO NOT REPOST ANY IMAGES POSTED HERE ON ANY PLATFORM.
The order of the characters here is in accordance with their terms of appearance in the fanbook.
(1) [Muzan] had no human sensitivity and very little empathy. He had been a demon for a thousand years and had settled down, but when he was still human until the time he became a demon, he was so skilled at reading the negative emotions of others and spoke such abusive language to the point he drove five of his wives to suicide (in the Heian period).
On Demons
When Demons ingest human food, they just throw it back up.
Kibutsuji Muzan
He didn't need to sleep, and even though he had eternal life, he resented the restrictions on his daytime activities for a thousand years. He feared dying from sunlight, and to eliminate that fear he sought to be a complete person who can conquer death brought by the sun.
・Child form >> secured a place to make the medicine to overcome the sun.
・Geisha form >> gathered information on the blue spider lily and instructing humans to find it.
・Male form >> gathered information and secured funding for places where the geisha could not.
In some cases, he killed wealthy people and disguise himself as them to gather information and make money. If he ever sortied himself out, he made puppets out of his flesh and left it behind [his home/hideouts].
(2) Unlike ordinary Demons, Muzan could change his forms at will, from an adult to a small child, for a long time. His healing and regenerative powers were so much higher compared even to the Upper Moons, so he was able to nullify all of Tamayo's medicines as long as he had time.
Since the blue spider lily was hard to find, he sought to make the Upper Moons and those who have the constitution to overcome the sun at the same time. The doctor who used the blue spider lily [on him] lived in Tokyo, so he searched there in a frenzy, but turned up nothing.
(3) Depending on the climate, there were years when the blue spider lilies didn’t even bloom at all. Even when the flowers did bloom, it was only for a few minutes to less than an hour in the daytime, and then they closed back up. When they were closed, they looked like big horsetail weeds. Up until modern times, no one even knew they existed.
The sample withered under Inosuke’s descendant’s watch (it seems it was very difficult to get just the right water and soil quality, without which it will die), and they couldn’t raise new plants from its seeds, so it is thought that the blue spider lily is now extinct. It seems that the blue spider lilies left in the mountains also withered once the flowers around them were picked. Because they possessed some previously undiscovered components, researchers abroad who were planning to study them were also very critical [of the failure].
Since Muzan [who created demons] had also been defeated, there will henceforth be no new demons created.
T/N: Parts of this Muzan description is from this post and is reposted with permission from @demonslayedher.
Kokushibo
It seemed [Kokushibo] got along with Muzan well. The Demons were basically scared out of their wits that [Muzan] can read everything they were thinking, but Kokushibo didn't mind [the mind-reading]. He said he had no intention to betray Muzan, and felt better he didn't need to keep up appearances or hide his emotions.
[Kokushibo] never moved from being the Upper Moon One, and he was so happy when a favorite, Akaza, challenged him a death match to replace him, so he didn't consume [Akaza] and let the latter live (he usually absorbed [those challenging him] with Muzan's permission).
Including Akaza's, he was challenged to death matches to replace him in rank three times. Kokushibo's sword was made from his flesh and blood. Its name was Kyokokukamusari*.
*T/N: 「虚哭神去」, the closest of which I can translate as "hollow cry of the godless"(?), based on the kanji.
Doma
When [Doma] was 20 years old, he met Muzan and was turned into a Demon. He was so moved by his encounter with the latter he made Muzan the god of the Eternal Paradise Cult. Despite his loyalty and worship of Muzan, Muzan didn't like him.
It seemed in Muzan's experience, he had determined those without strong attachments or cravings wouldn't evolve greatly as Demons. Even so, [Doma] seemed to have more talent than the others, since he was able to rise up in ranks as Upper Moon Two.
He was sometimes consulted by his believers, and seeing them crumble under the weight of their desires, be it for money, status or love, seemed to be too foolish for him, but he felt curious what the feeling was like. He had money, status, and an almost-immortal body, but he didn't feel anything special, so he switched partners* every now and then to try to play the childish game of love.
*T/N: The word used actually is 「相手」, which is gender neutral, so it might be implied/inferred Douma might have been bisexual. Take that as you will.
Akaza
[Akaza] lost all [his] human memories when he became a Demon. Since the names of the techniques he used were important to him, it was likely that [deep down in his heart] he had people who he loved.
He felt no respect, no awe, no hatred, towards Muzan, and thought of [Muzan] as someone who gave orders and [of himself as] someone who obeyed. He couldn't bring himself to kill women, whether they be civilians or Demon Slayers. This was permitted by Muzan (who was sarcastic and constantly grilled people). Doma often complained about Akaza's special treatment.
He liked to talk to humans. Most of the time, even if it was someone he was going to kill, he would talk to them for a while, get to know them and then swing his fists at them. In the absence of Muzan's orders, he seemed to be doing nothing but working out.
He could share his thoughts and sight with Demons lower ranked than him (as much as Muzan allowed) and had complained to Muzan endlessly of Doma bothering him when the latter became Upper Moon Two. This was the only time he complained to Muzan.
Nakime
[Nakime] earned some money by playing the biwa, but she was a completely unknown [performer] and her husband always gambled, so she lived in poverty. One day, when her husband sold her only kimono for her biwa performances and used the money for gambling, Nakime became so angry, she beat him to death with a hammer.
After that she still had to work, so she performed wearing her tattered kimono, gaining disapproving looks from her audience, but when she played the biwa with strong and trembling hands, she was praised. From then on, she began to play biwa after killing people, and each time she did so, the sound of her biwa was highly commended.
She [randomly] chose Muzan [as a target] and tried to kill him but failed. However, he was so pleased with what she did, he turned her into a Demon.
Kaigaku
Kaigaku's sword was like Kokushibo's, and it was made out of his flesh and blood. Since he was still adamant on becoming a swordsman, it seemed like he made something resembling a nichirin sword.
Hantengu
[Hantengu] had been a liar since he was a child, and had a mind that twisted facts and interpretations to suit himself. He always thought he was the victim, and tried to make everyone around him look bad in order to gain sympathy.
Because he kept changing his name, age, and background quickly, he no longer knew his true name, age, or background. Several times, he married and had children but whenever accused of falsehoods and dishonesty, he would get upset he was mistreated and kill his wife and children, [and repeated the cycle all over].
He looked to be about eighty-seven years old. He believed that there was no one in this world more pitiful than himself.
Gyokko
Gyokko lived on the outskirts of a fishing village near the coast, and was disliked for repeatedly collecting fish carcasses and doing other strange things.
He lost his parents at an early age (they went out fishing and never came back, their drowned bodies found badly damaged), so the villagers kept their distance, thinking that he had lost his mind. However, Gyokko instead killed a village child who came to tease him and stuffed [the body] in a jar. It seemed he became fascinated by the beauty of his parents' drowned bodies [before].
In rage, the child's parents stabbed Gyokko with a two-pronged fishing fork. He was left to die there (a half-day passed and he was still alive) and Muzan was passing by, so he turned Gyokko into a Demon. His human name before then was Managi*.
When he became a Demon, he ate children's flesh and modified his body as he liked. Except for Muzan, he despised all living things, and he laughed and sneered at them from the bottom of his heart.
*T/N:「益魚儀」which means "benefit", "fish" and "ceremony" for their respective kanji.
Daki and Gyutaro
Until Daki's birth, Gyutaro lived in literal hell. Their mother, who was disgusted at Daki (due to her hair and eye colors, etc.) hated the baby and tried to strangle her to death, but Gyutaro saved [Daki]. He couldn't help but love her, she who cherished him, followed him and cried when he wasn't around.
On the day that their mother tried to violently cut Daki's hair with a razor, the balance of power between parent and child changed when Gyutaro became enraged and went on a rampage. Their mother got afraid of him and kept her distance from them.
Daki was so beautiful she could be approached just by walking down the street and given things if she smiled. Realizing this, she used this to make ends meet so she wouldn't be too hungry she couldn't stand up or feel like dying.
She had been nicknamed Shiraume-chan*. A reason why Daki gouged the samurai's eye was that he insulted Gyutaro.
*T/N:「白梅」means "white plum blossoms".
Enmu
Enmu's guts was actually eaten by a hungry Muzan and he was not supposed to be turned into a Demon at first, but as he felt no pain from the fatal wound, he envied and praised Muzan.
With those last words, his heart and brain stopped working, so Muzan turned him into a Demon. [Enmu knew] he was [converted] due to [Muzan's whim] and would only remember it in passing, so Enmu [did his best] to rise up to the ranks of Lower Moon One.
Rui
Although [Rui] had been a demon for less than twenty years, he was highly capable and was well liked by Muzan. In terms of ability, he was probably as skillful as the Lower Moon One or Two. He wasn't obsessed with numbers, so he didn't think about a death match to replace them. Muzan expected Rui would be able to defeat the Pillars.
If he recovered the power he shared with his individual "family members" before they were defeated one by one (he shared them his Blood Demon Art in the form of a spider they swallowed) he would have had a good fight with the Pillars, and might have been stronger than them.
However, he made so many errors after becoming emotional after his fight with Tanjiro and the others. When he lost his cool, his attacks went forceful but monotonous. If Rui was defeated first, then the other Demons who played the role of his "family" would not be able to use the Demon Blood Art he gave them.

Kimetsu no Yaiba Fanbook Two Taisho Rumors: Pillars
Tumblr media
Please bookmark this post for more information. Also please credit me+this post if you will be retranslating this to other languages and will be posting this to other sites. Please also take the fan translations here with a grain of salt. PLEASE DO NOT REPOST ANY IMAGES POSTED HERE ON ANY PLATFORM.
The order of the characters here is in accordance with their terms of appearance in the fanbook.
Tomioka Giyuu
Giyuu's haori was almost torn to shreds during the decisive battle [against the Demons] but Nezuko mended it so beautifully. The original memento of a fabric, however, had been reduced a lot. But now most of the fabric have been restored, Giyuu-san was so moved he sent Nezuko so many gifts (kimono, Western clothes, hair ornaments) that even Zenitsu considered him as a rival.
Giyuu was also befriended by Uzui and his family, it seemed, and when Uzui's child was born he was allowed to hold the baby.
After the battle, Giyuu went into coma and was in a dangerous state, so everyday Nezuko, bringing his mended haori, called for him to come back. For a while it was also not known whether Tanjiro and Shinazugawa would regain consciousness due to their critical state.
Kochou Shinobu
Shinobu's pet goldfish was named Fugu. She wanted it to grow healthy and full of life.
She wouldn't admit it, but she was a natural [airhead] so the names she brought up for Kanao first included Suzume* (a bird), Hakobe* (a plant), Kamasu* (a fish), Tanago* (a fish), Tobiko* (fish roe), among the unique names she came up with.
When Kanae opened the papers with said names on them, she froze for a while. Her face broke into such an "EH?!" expression that even Aoi couldn't smoothen things.
"What's so funny?" Shinobu got a little pissed, so the upset Kanae just smiled and sweated as [Shinobu] folded [origami] cranes, balloons and rabbits while [Kanae] put out the papers with unique names on the floor. When Kanao was about to pick up the paper with "Kamasu" on it, Aoi, displaying karuta-like speed, replaced it with another paper.
*T/N: suzume = sparrow, hakobe = chickweed, kamasu = barracuda, tanago = bitterling, tobiko = flying fish roe
Rengoku Kyojuro
[Kyojuro] has a sound mind that was not easily distorted by any circumstances. He could talk to anyone, young or old, male or female. Sometimes people were afraid of him because they feel as if [he and them] weren't looking at each other even though they were looking at each other.
He sometimes didn't listen to what people say (he was the type of person to reach conclusions quickly) but was sensitive to the subtleties of people's emotions, so he was very caring. Due to this, he was well-liked by the other Pillars.
As with the case with Tanjiro, despite conflicts from differences in the way they treat each other, [Kyojuro] never hold it against the other [person] and was able to respond quickly with a smile again. He was also quick to change his mind. There were many people who can't keep up with him due to him being too fast. He was a bit of an impatient [person]. He also ate his meals quite fast.
Uzui Tengen
Three of the nine [Uzui] siblings died before they even reached ten years old due to overzealous training. The remaining six were forced to kill each other on their father's orders.
They were forced to fight each other, not knowing who they fought as their heads and faces were covered with masks, and Tengen only realized his father's trick in dismay after he had killed two of his brothers.
Even though [Tengen] told of their father's crazy idea of leaving only the strongest children, his remaining brother felt nothing about killing their other two brothers. Tengen, who turned his blade away, then left the village with his wives without fighting his brother.
For a while it became a habit for him to say he was going to hell, but he stopped after Makio got angry with him, Hinatsuru cried, and Suma bit him.
He continued to anguish over whether he should have exterminated the Uzui clan, but he couldn't bring himself to kill his father and brother.
Tokito Muichiro
On the time [Tokito] lost his memories and resembled his brother's mannerisms, he was happy his brother had protected him. (The people around him got a healthy dose of his toxic speech though).
He was harsher with his words, but he knew he, who was more absentminded than his sensitive brother, was the one with tougher nerves.
Even before he entered the Demon Slaying Corps, Tokito could sleep soundly no matter if there was a tempest or a thunderstorm, and he never lost his appetite.
After the decisive battle [against the Demons], Tokito's crow became thin and sickly, though Tanjiro's crow comforted her, and eventually they became husband and wife.
Kanroji Mitsuri
As a young lady of her age, [Mitsuri] was nervous about the opposite sex, but she especially liked Iguro, who exchanged letters with her and was exceptionally kind to her. There were times when she wanted to confess her feelings to him, but because of the trauma of her marriage interview and her misunderstanding that Iguro was kind to everyone, she was unable to tell him how she felt. In fact, the only person Iguro was particularly kind to was Mitsuri.
There were times when she would ask Shinobu for advice about love, but since they were both oblivious to romantic love, their exchange of letters turned weird. (Shinobu's love advice was like a research thesis, mentioning brain response, heart rate, blood pressure, etc).
After joining the Demon Slaying Corps, she was often praised, and was very happy to have friends, senior and junior colleagues. However, as her colleagues were killed by demons one after another, the smiling and cheerful Mitsuri sometimes couldn't stop trembling with anger and sadness.
Iguro Obanai
Iguro had always been concerned about his surviving cousin, and when he asked around to find out what happened to her, he found out she was living a comfortable life with her remaining fortune, had married and had children, and was living happily.
This was unbelievable to Iguro, and he was terribly surprised and shocked at the same time. It wasn't that he shouldn't be happy, but he feared and envied his cousin's attitude continuing to live in luxury in the house where the tragedy had occurred, as if nothing had happened to her, regardless of how the fortune had been acquired, or her lineage.
Iguro didn't like to eat much because it was too much trouble. However, he felt happy whenever he saw Mitsuri eat delicious food. After eating with her (but not together), he was able to work up an appetite and eat more than usual.
Shinazugawa Sanemi
[Shinazugawa] became the embodiment of "the red ogre who cried"*.
He was the type of person who would do anything, even if it means dying, being hated, or be ostracized as the bad guy, in order to protect the people he cared about. He was so blunt, easily misunderstood, and was too hasty to act, that even the Flower Pillar, Kocho Kanae, was worried about him.
He was the same with Genya, a person who didn't plan anything to make himself look good and wouldn't care about what others thought of him.
He and Iguro hit it off well from their very first meeting, though their taste in the opposite sex were at odds, since Sanemi wasn't good with women like Mitsuri. (Himejima cried though since he knew Iguro and Mitsuri liked each other. Shinazugawa was quite dense at matters of love though).
T/N: Please see attached link for more details.
Himejima Gyomei
Himejima was raised in a temple by his relatives. His father died of disease, while his mother died while giving birth. As if misfortune kept piling on him, he got a fever when he was a child and was blinded as a result. However his will to survive overcame all adversities.
They lived poorly so he was thin, but he was blessed with a tall height and strength to do manual labor. Since childhood he was a mature and calm person who helped everyone in need.
However, in spite of his blindness, he had a keen sense of "sight", so that when some mean people tried to throw things at him or make him fall, he was able to avoid them. He was often branded as a liar due to this.

Chocolate Curry Buns - Black Butler
So, this is one of the most requested recipes, and also one that has taken me the most time to figure out.  If you’re looking for a quicker, more authentically Japanese curry bun, replace the curry roux and filling with a packet of instant curry and follow the instructions on a package.  This recipe is a “high class”, very British way of looking at the curry bun, with attention paid to how Sebastian cooked his in the show.  Notice the atypical additions of black pepper and red wine, frying the bun instead of baking, and, most importantly, the chocolate.  In short, his is simply one hell of a curry bun recipe.
Ingredients:
Curry roux:
3 tbsp. butter
⅓ cup flour
2 tbsp.. garam masala
1-2 tsp freshly ground black pepper (depending on how spicy you want it)
1 tbs. tomato paste
1 tbs. Worcestershire sauce
Dough:
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. dry yeast
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. skim milk powder
½ cup water
1 egg
2 tbsp. butter
Filling:
2 tbsp. oil
1 small onion, sliced thin
1 clove of garlic, minced
½ pound beef chuck roast, cubed, or stew meat
¼ cup red wine (substitute 1/8 cup balsamic vinegar and 1/8 cup all-natural grape juice if you can’t get wine)
1 carrot
1 medium pre-cooked yukon gold potato
1 tbsp. apple puree or apple sauce
1 cardamom pod
1 whole star anise pod
1 bay leaf
⅓ cup peas (optional)
Half of a bar of dark chocolate
Instructions:
First, we’re going to start with the roux. Melt the butter over medium low heat.
Add the flour and whisk the butter and flour together in the pan until the mixture turns a golden brown.
Add the garam masala and black pepper and stir to combine, then add the tomato paste and Worcestershire sauce and combine. Continue to cook until it becomes thick and paste-like. Remove from heat and set aside until the meat and veggies are ready.
Combine yeast, water, and sugar in a bowl. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes, until foamy.
Add the rest of the dough ingredients and knead for 8-10 minutes.
Cover with a dish towel and allow dough to rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 to 1½ hours.  If it’s cool in the kitchen, I frequently turn on a stove top burner, and let the dough sit on the counter near it to help the rising process.
Divide the dough into 8 equal portions. Let rest for 10 minutes (make sure not to let them dry out, cover them with a damp paper towel or two).
Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in your pan.  Pat the beef down with a paper towel to remove any excess moisture, sprinkle some salt and pepper on the meat, and dust with a bit of flour.  Once the pan is hot, add your meat, cooking for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until nice and brown.  Then, put the meat into a bowl and set aside.
Heat oil in a pan, and saute onion and garlic.  While sauteing, grind the cardamom and anise.
Add the browned beef, wine, water, carrots, potatoes, salt, apple puree, cardamom, anise, and bay leaf, and then bring to a boil over high heat.
Turn the heat down to medium low and simmer partially covered until the carrots are tender (about 45 minutes).
Add in the curry roux that you set aside in step 3 and the chocolate, and stir until the roux and liquid in the pan combine and thicken into a nice curry sauce.  Set aside to cool, and don’t forget to remove the bay leaf.
Dust your hands with flour!  Flatten the dough balls into a round disc, place a spoonful of filling in the middle, and wrap wrap the edges around the filling. Gently shape each dough ball into a bun.
In a frying pan, heat about an inch of oil (vegetable, canola, or sunflower oil are preferred). Add the buns, however many will fit in your pan at a time. Fry them on medium/low until golden brown, turning over to cook each side.
Let them cool, then present to the judges.  Or your friends.  Or just eat them yourself.

I Miss The Rage - Takizawa
The anime really didn't do my man Takizawa justice. Yall see what they did to Owl Taki?? Sheesh. Takizawa looks so much better in the manga. 😤

(please don't repost) This is, btw, a prototype of what supposedly Urokodaki-san looks like until Gotouge's editor told Croc to give him that tengu mask. As was said in his Taisho Secrets, he got a mask as his face looked "too kind", which is understandable.
