This is because he still comes at his opponent like he has not afraid to DIE. Having officially copied one branch of sin known as the CROW CLAW, he may have copied 1-2 more that he can utilize in battle. Coupled with his tenacity for combat and the unhinged way he reacts to it, he has been deemed a probable threat to society and is barred from the hero course at U.A. High. This, along with his status as an ex-convict from DEADMAN WONDERLAND (Japan’s only for-profit prison-themepark), puts him under strict observation by the school.

Toto sports some nasty scars around his wrists, knees, and on his brow. They resemble stitch marks because, simply, his hands and legs were both amputated and then reattached by Hagire Rinichiro. Unfortunately, Toto was still alive for the whole procedure and awakened long enough to realize what had been done to him before being killed via lethal injection.

Unlike Hagire, Toto never resorted to CANNIBALISM in order to further mature his branch of sin. In fact, from his caged place within their shared psyche, Toto found the practice sickening. His Branch of Sin does require he taste his opponents blood, but his own tactics had been reserved to biting his opponents or licking their self-inflicted wounds to get a taste.
