The worst thing about being a DC fan is all the people who moved here after they found out the MCU wasn't good and just applied the same concepts to fundamentally different characters.

Says a lot about Snyder fans that they think a hopefully, optimistic character who smiles can only ever be a two-dimensional caricature and only serious, brooding characters have any depth or complexity. Meanwhile My Adventures with Superman is out there showing how easy it is to do a fully fleshed out Superman who smiles and is full of hope, but is still plagued by doubts and insecurities and faces hardships.
