This #taketimetuesday I want to highlight the producer and engineer on my upcoming album Sean Mclaughlin at @37ftproductions . I first met Sean at a vocal session for @ashleydawnmusic back in 2017 and we knew we wanted to work together. . It is rare to find a music producer that you find chemistry with as an artist. I am lucky to have found that in Sean . Yesterday was my last recording session for my upcoming EP “Growth 101” It was the first time it had been just me and Sean in the studio. We spent the first hour having one of the more deep conversations about personal growth that I have had in a while. Which is my favorite way to start any activity. And it gave me that much more confirmation that I had made the right choice. . In September, I entered the studio feeling insecure, and unsure. It was my first time attempting to create a fully realized version of my growth-centered songs. By trusting Sean, I came out with a product above and beyond anything I had hoped for. . We have shared countless stupid laughs, spirited talks, and tv show recommendations galore. He is truly a great human, and I feel very fortunate to call him a friend. . I want to leave with you a testimonial that I wrote after working with him... . “As someone who has been in the industry for over half my life, I have come to understand finding the right fit with a producer is more important than accolades. That being said, I don't think I've ever met someone more dedicated to executing an artist's vision than Sean at 37'.
