I don’t even care if it’s macaroni, ramen or those little bowls you stick in the microwave. Please, I need reassurance that most of the population on tumblr WOULDN’T STARVE TO DEATH if their parents couldn’t fix them food or they couldn’t go out to eat.

Ok as stupid as it sounds, you NEED to do whatever you can to talk to people instead of online job listings. Technology is terrible. I’m about to graduate from college and I’m looking for a federal job which means I’m listed at a certain GS level. Non graduates tend to be GS 4 or lower, graduates tend to be GS 5 or 6 depending on experience. However I qualify as a GS 7 due to scholastic BS, but until I was able to actually email someone, I was only being accepted as a GS 4 to even interview for positions.

bottom line! Make friends with your counselor and career center people! Get them to put you in email contact (atleast) with people! It sucks but god does technology make things so hard!!! Good luck kids!!!!!!!

Well the results are in ladies and germs. Despite our small poll size 75% of people played spore or knew what it was and about 22% of people knew how to play the space level (which seems impossible to me but go off). Honestly I played from the microscopic level up to tribal (occasionally city but that was pretty rare) but major respect for those of you who understood space

21:04 two of my room mates do math all day (math major and chemical engineering) and myself and the other room mate do not. (Forestry and graphic design) when they need help formatting things or when something literature related comes up they come to us and when we need to do math we go to them. This is how society should work. Stop making me learn math.

I absolutely agree, college is absolutely a scam. But why the hell did you get a degree in Egyptology? That’s so specific and the job market has got to be like super narrow so this is partially college being a scam and also partially you picking the worst option in the Chose Your Own Adventure

So I taught myself how to lucid dream when I was a kid cause I had really vivid nightmares and waking up screaming and crying was getting pretty annoying for everyone involved. So now I know when I’m dreaming and I can usually control things pretty well, but every so often I panic. I still know I’m dreaming but instead of taking control of the dream I just wake myself up to effectively yeet myself out of the scenario. However for some reason for that to happen I have to blink really hard and fast in my dream. Let me give you an example:

monster: *coming towards me to tear me apart* me: AHHHHH NOOOOOOOO

me: *blinks really hard and fast at the approaching horror* me: *blinks out of existence as I exit the dream* monster: ….. well that was rude

people ask me “omg how do you survive life in the dorms I could never…” first off I have lived in some weird places. A small room filled with my clutter is awesome actually. Secondly, I can see the robots that deliver food from my window and I like to watch them crash into each other and get stuck
