Since MarvelHeroPeril has been shadowbanned recently, please go and follow the old sideblog MarvelPeril.

Note to Followers of MarvelPeril

Since Tumblr has been Censor-happy recently, I have a feeling that this MarvelPeril sideblog is in danger of getting Shadowbanned.

The recent original posts of any captured Marvel characters didn’t turn up in the Tag Search (outside the blog). What I mean is that the posts can still be searched by Tags on the user’s blog but on the Tumblr Tag Search Engine outside the blog, the recent original posts are missing. Also, I have received an E-Mail that MarvelPeril sideblog has been flagged as Adult Content. Most of the original posts and the reblogged posts are PG-13 rated. The closest thing that could be passed as Adult Content in those posts are a few fanart which are reblogged a long time ago before Tumblr Drama as well as there were some nudity in Marvel comics which have censored bits.

Anyway, I decided to make a backup sideblog called MarvelHeroPeril where you can find pictures of Marvel Superheroes in perilous situations. Note that there WON’T be any pictures of superheroes from live-action Marvel movies. Also, this blog is more for PG-13 rated Marvel-related pictures so there will be no more posts of adult content. If the NSFW thing happens in comics, I would try to find an alternative way to keep it viewable for NSFW fans while keeping the blog safe for viewing.

Marvel Premiere #7 (Fox/Russell, Mar 1973). The Sorcerer Supreme battles another of Shuma-Gorath’s henchmonsters, this time underwater. Isn’t Strange pals with Namor now? And he’s heading to Stonehenge, where he previously encountered the Living Tribunal. All this Lovecraftian horror is overriding the previously established rules and relationships. I don’t mind, per se… but it’s confusing to see them leave so much potential untouched, when Roy Thomas and Steve Englehart are making their careers out of mining Marvel’s mythology.
