when “no means no” comes up, you hear guys say “oh, but sometimes girls play hard to get” and like…. i guess, yeah.  men & women both can be really bad at being honest about what they want.  but just consider your options.
the other person says “no” and means “yes” –>  you back down –>  they learn that if they want something, they have to clearly express themselves
they say “no” and mean “no” –>  you back down –>  you’ve successfully respected their boundaries 👍👌
they say “no” and mean “yes” –>  you ignore them –>  you’re perpetuating a pattern of bad communication & ignoring boundaries 👎 & given that you aren’t a mind reader, it’s really just luck that you haven’t coerced an unwilling person into sex
they say “no” and mean “no” –>  you ignore them –>  you’ve committed sexual assault 🚨🚨🚨 do not pass go, do not collect 200 dollars
unless you care more about getting laid than not assaulting people, respecting people’s “no”s is a win-win situation.  don’t be a potential rapist

Prank - Leonard McCoy
Requested by @the-moron-girl-in-the-books
“I promise, you’re gonna love Y/N,” Jim said, walking off of the Enterprise. Bones laughed and followed him. They were on a brief mission break so Jim was taking Bones back home with him. Leonard could have gone home to Georgia, but Jim convinced him that it was better to not be alone.
Y/N was Jim’s childhood friend that he constantly talked about. Apparently she was training to join Starfleet, but was still studying. For their stay in Iowa, they would be staying at her house.
They boarded a ship that would take them out to Iowa, where Y/N would pick them up. Two hours later, they were landing in a barren field outside of Iowa City. Jim practically raced off of ship and Leonard followed him. When he put his feet on the ground, he saw Jim hugging a woman tightly.
“It’s so good to see you!” he said. When Jim pulled away, Leonard got his first look at Y/N. She was smiling at him and Leonard could see why Jim loved her so much. Just watching her talk and laugh for a few minutes, Leonard could see how intoxicating it was to be around her. She looked over at him and smiled again, making him smile unexpectedly, too.
“You must be Bones,” she said, holding out a hand. Leonard laughed deep in his chest, harder than he probably should have, considering the look Jim was giving him.
“Actually, it’s just Leonard.” Y/N nodded and smiled again.
“Okay, let’s get going,” she said, walking towards the truck parked alongside the road. Leonard crawled in the back and Jim sat in the passenger seat. For a while, they drove and only Jim and Y/N talked about the good old times. Eventually, she pulled up in front of an old farm house and Y/N turned off the truck.
“This is me,” she said, opening the door. Jim and Leonard crawled out and looked at the white, two story house.
“It hasn’t changed at all,” Jim said with a smile. Y/N walked around the car and patted Jim’s shoulder. She walked into the house, and Leonard couldn’t help but stare at her swaying backside. Jim punched his shoulder and stared at him. “Hey, she’s like a sister to me.” Leonard chuckled and started moving towards the house.
“I told you that about my friend back at the academy and you slept with her twenty minutes later.” Jim laughed and walked up the steps after Leonard. They set their bags down in the living room and heard Y/N moving in the kitchen.
“So I’m gonna get dinner started,” Y/N said, looking between the two men. “I need you to do me a favor though,” she said, pointing at Jim.
“Anything,” he replied, his blue eyes sparkling.
“I need potatoes,” she said, holding out the keys. He snatched them up and grinned at Bones.
“Can I leave you alone?” he asked, smiling.
“I’ll be fine,” Leonard replied, folding his arms. Y/N smirked and walked back into the kitchen and Jim locked eyes with Leonard once more.
“Remember what I said,” he said, poking Leonard’s chest. Leonard rolled his eyes. “None of that Georgian charm, got it?”
“Don’t tell me what to do.” Jim laughed and nodded.
“I’ll be back soon.” Jim walked out the door and Leonard was just about to sit down until Y/N walked into the living room, spatula in her hand.
“Hi,” he said, raising an eyebrow at her.
“Are you any good in the kitchen?” she asked. Leonard chuckled and sat up.
“I guess.”
“Great,” she said and walked into the kitchen. Leonard followed, trying to keep his eyes off of her swaying hips. “So, I am trying to make this elaborate dinner because that’s what my mom always did when Jim came over and-”
“I don’t think he’ll care,” Leonard said.
“He will and don’t interrupt.” Leonard smiled and nodded. “I am working on the turkey, it’s in the oven right now, but I need your help with this casserole.”
“What does it call for?” he asked, rolling up his sleeves.
“For you to wash your hands first,” she said.
“Bossy,” Leonard said, moving over to the sink. Y/N snorted and Leonard smiled. “What now?” She handed him the card with the handwritten ingredients on it, and smiled.
“I’m gonna work on my grandma’s special sauce.” She buzzed around the kitchen, pulling things out of cupboards and dropping them inside a pot. Leonard was drawn to the smell and suddenly found himself behind Y/N. “Like what you see?” she asked. She looked back at him and saw he was blushing. “I was just teasing.”
“I know, and I do.” This time she blushed and looked back at the sauce.
“Then try it,” she said, shoving the spoon in his face. He laughed and tasted it, letting the savory sauce melt on his tongue.
“That is amazing.”
“I know,” she said, smirking. Leonard then realized how close they were and backed up a little bit. “How’s the casserole prep going?”
“Great, it’s all done.” She walked over and surveyed the cheesy dish. She smiled over at him again, and Leonard wondered if she always smiled this much or if she was just being polite.
“Nice job,” she said. She looked over at the clock and then at the door before sighing.
“What?” Leonard asked, missing her smile.
“I really shouldn’t have trusted Jim with the keys. I don’t know when he’ll be back.” Leonard nodded and put his hand on his chin.
“Just finish everything else,” he advised. She gave him a look just as the timer went off on the oven and she moved to pull the turkey out.
“I guess we don’t have an option anymore,” she said, pulling two plates out of her cupboard. She stuck the casserole Leonard had made word for word with the recipe in the oven for fifteen minutes. “Can you take these to the dining room?” she asked, handing him the plates. He nodded and walked the way she pointed and found a nicely decorated dining room, too extravagant for their meal tonight. Leonard thought quickly and went back into the living room, setting the plates on the coffee table. He went back into the kitchen and grabbed two glasses and a bottle of wine and waited for Y/N.
“Where are you?” she called a few moments later, clearly walking into the dark, empty dining room.
“Out here.” She followed his voice and when she walked into the living room she shot him another look.
“This isn’t the dining room,” she said, putting her hands on her hips.
“I know, but this fit the mood better.” She snorted and shook her head but walked back towards the kitchen without any complaints. She came back out a few moments later, carrying two full plates of food.
“I piled it on because this was suppose to be a meal for three, and Jim eats like two.” Leonard chuckled and nodded, biting into the delicious food she had prepared. “Asshole,” she muttered.
“Jim?”
“Who else? I set up this whole meal because he was finally coming home and this is the thanks I get?” she said, looking around the room.
“Thanks,” he said sarcastically.
“Well you’re great but you’re also a stranger.” Leonard blushed slightly at the fact that she called him great but nodded.
“You should get back at him. God knows he deserves it.” She nodded thoughtfully as she chewed her food.
“Yeah, but what would piss him off the most?” she asked, looking into Leonard’s eyes. He started to form a horrible idea, and apparently it showed on his face as she gave him a curious look. “What?”
“Well, Jim did give me specific instructions of what not to do when I was here,” he said softly. She smiled excitedly and scooted closer.
“Ooh tell me, tell me.” Leonard smiled and looked back at the beautiful girl before chuckling.
“He told me to stay away from you. Ya know, romantically.” Her smile shrunk, but there was still an excitement in her eyes.
“If you’re trying to sleep with me right-”
“No, I didn’t mean that we had to do anything, I just think it would be fun to make Jim think we had.”
“You’re a genius,” she said, pointing her fork at him.
“So you’re in?” he asked.
“Definitely.” The next thirty minutes of the dinner Leonard and Y/N discussed the different ways they would fake their relationship for Jim. When the lights of the car pulled up the driveway an hour later, the both of you scrambled upstairs. Y/N pushed him into the room that must have been his and started pulling off her clothes.
“What are you doing?” he asked, trying to keep his eyes on her face.
“Get in bed and take off your clothes.” Leonard blushed and opened his mouth to say something. “For the prank, idiot!” He grumbled and did as she said, watching her undress down to her bra and underwear and wrapping the robe around herself from the closet.
“Be quiet,” she said, putting her ear to the door.
“I didn’t say anything.” She shot him a look and went back to her position. Leonard could hear Jim walking up the stairs, and in a flash Y/N opened and closed the door.
“Jim!” she said nervously.
“What are you doing? Where’s Bones?” There was a long pause before Jim groaned. “I told him!”
“No don’t,” she said, and Leonard could hear a small scuffle outside the hallway. “You were gone and we were bored.”
“So you slept with him?!”
“Oh please, I’m not a kid anymore, you can say sex.” Leonard chuckled into the pillow as he heard Jim grumble incoherently again. “Goodnight, Jim. I’ll see you tomorrow. Oh, and don’t bother Leo he’s probably exhausted.” Jim nearly shouted, but continued blubbering to himself. Leonard was smiling, slightly because it was always fun to play pranks on Jim, but mostly because Y/N had called him Leo.
The rest of the week in Iowa was spent nearly the same way. Whenever Jim would walk away, Y/N would lean in close to Leonard and start scheming a new prank. For one, she pulled out a tube of lipstick and rubbed a little bit sloppily over his lips to stage a make out session. Leonard had loudly called her sweet things when they were sitting outside, just so Jim could hear. Leonard loved the way Y/N laughed and smiled, and wanted to do anything to keep that happening.
On their last night, Leonard thought it would be good to end their prank with a bang. They had spent the night before scheming, bouncing up and down on the bed every few minutes to make it sound like they were having sex. Finally, they came up with the perfect plan.
As Y/N drove them back into Iowa City, Leonard put his hand on her shoulder. Jim had noticed and pushed it off before folding his arms. Leonard and Y/N made eye contact in the mirror and she nodded slightly.
“Jim, there’s something I’d like to talk to you about,” he began. Jim looked back at him nervously but nodded.
“Okay.”
“Now, I know you know that Y/N and I have started a relationship, and I know you aren’t a big fan of that. But I want to do something that will change that.” He sighed and Jim looked nervously between him and Y/N.
“What?”
“I want your permission to ask for her hand in marriage.” Leonard notice Y/N bite the inside of her cheeks, trying to stifle her laughter.
“You want to what?!”
“This week has been the best of my life-”
“Shut up, Bones, just stop. I don’t want to talk about this anymore,” he said, beginning to pout. Y/N looked back at Leonard in the mirror before touching Jim’s shoulder.
“Jim. Hey, Jim,” she said, poking him some more. “Jim. Jimmy. Jim-bo. James. James Tiberius. J-”
“What?” he asked, fighting off the smallest of smiles.
“It was just a prank, nerd,” she said, looking back at the road. Jim looked somewhat relieved, but also like he could get sick.
“What?” he asked again.
“Yeah, Leo and I haven’t started a relationship. We only did that to get back at you for stealing my car for the first night.”
“So you aren’t getting married?”
“Oh no we are, but the rest was a joke,” she teased. Leonard laughed and that was nearly the last time he laughed that hard. Jim was mad, but he was so relieved that they weren’t actually getting married that he wasn’t too upset. Jim and Y/N hugged tightly and said their goodbyes before Leonard did.
“You know a good prank,” she said, walking over to him.
“So do you,” he replied with a smile. “Thank you for letting us stay at your home.”
“Oh yeah, it was definitely fun.” She smiled and wrapped her arms around his waist, burrowing her face against his chest. He hugged her back tightly and didn’t let go until Jim called from the ship.
“Come on, Bones!” Leonard sighed and looked into Y/N’s eyes.
“Good luck at the academy,” he said.
“You remembered.”
“Of course. It was nice meeting you,” he shouted, boarding the ship. Y/N waved until they were out of sight, and Leonard lingered out the window for much longer.
Almost exactly a year later, Leonard was checking off a delivery of supplies onto the Enterprise when he heard Jim laughing heartily. He looked up briefly, and as his eyes focused back on his pad, his heart fell in his chest. He looked back up and saw Y/N standing across the room, a blue dress on the same color as his shirt, laughing at something Jim said.
Jim lead her onto the ship and Leonard didn’t look away until she was out of sight. He was so focused he didn’t even notice the red shirt trying to speak to him. Leonard walked in an almost trance like state, following the intoxicating sound of Y/N’s laugh. Finally, he made his way onto the Bridge and found her standing next to Jim.
“Leo! How’s my fiancee?” she asked, turning to look at him. She beamed, looking into his eyes as he moved her way and pulled her close. He put his hand on her waist and brought her against him until their lips met. Leonard didn’t even care that Jim and every other member of the crew could see him right now, he had waited too long to kiss these lips that had tormented him for the last year. When he finally pulled away, Y/N was still grinning up at him.
“Took you long enough.”

Hi all! As you know we recently hit 400 followers! I just want to briefly mention again here- THANK YOU for all the support :) Anyway lets get on with the story! I spent ages rewriting this and the dialogue to make it as characteristic as possible, and because it contains themes which I can relate to and wanted it to be as real as possible. I hope you all enjoy a little Spock X Reader.
PROMPT - @trekken81 song prompt challenge- Jason Walker Echo. I recommend that you listen to the song to understand the story. Listen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxpLxb5jHO0

Echo
You opened your eyes slowly with a groan, your back arching as you re-positioned yourself gradually. Rolling across the cold tiled floor, you took in your surroundings slowly. At first glance you recognised your quarters, the dark shadows swirling around the corners of the room menacingly as the darkness of space swallowed your surroundings whole. Ignoring the strange sense of apprehension which settled in your stomach, you shifted to press your palms beneath your chest and against the floor.
With quivering arms you slowly levered yourself upwards, your elbows screaming in response as you finally reached an upright sitting position, your head pulsating at the menial action.
“Lights at twenty percent.” You commanded softly as you pushed your back up against the foot of your bed. With a shuddered breath you closed your eyes lightly, your mind struggling to focus as it remained a jumbled mess of images and sounds. A frown creeped across your features as you struggled to recall anything prior to waking, but no matter how hard you scratched away at the surface, nothing moved to the forefront of your mind.
Cracking open an eye you sighed as you glanced upwards to the lighting above you; the distinct lack of overpowering white light causing a nervous chill to settle over you.
“Lights at twenty percent.” You repeated again, your tone more forceful than before. However once again, the system remained unchanged.
Flexing your fingers, you shifted suddenly using the momentum to rock up and onto the balls of your feet. Taking a moment to steady yourself, your eyes narrowed in on the access panel beside the door to your quarters.
You had barely moved a step when a soft rustling erupted from behind you, the layers of nervousness and apprehension which had rested in your stomach erupting to life once again; sending your mind into overdrive.
Eyes wide, you struggled to ignore the hairs which stood abrupt on the back of your neck. Pivoting slowly to face the strange sound, your eyes widened dramatically in response to what laid sprawled before you.

Baby Mine
I don’t know what this is…I appear to have babies on the brain.
Baby Mine
Rating - G
Emma loves to sleep in, but ever since the baby was born, her days of being able to do so are few and far between.  Killian is a tremendous help, but pre-dawn feedings are nothing he can really help with, at least not until she stops breastfeeding.
The first few months were easy.  They kept a bassinet in their room for the little one and when she cried, Emma would pick the baby up and then settle in the large armchair they’d moved into their room, right next to the windows.  Mother and daughter would welcome the sun together, Emma listening to the sounds of Killian’s soft snore from their bed while she held the warm bundle of her daughter close to her heart.

SLIGHT CIVIL WAR SPOILERS MENTIONED
“I can’t do this…” (Y/N) muttered to herself. “I can’t do this!”
She had been with the Avengers for four months now, and she found herself slowly growing affections for the mismatched group, especially that mouthy archer…
No.
She shook her head, trying to rid herself of these thoughts.
You weren’t supposed to become attached, idiot. You know what happens when you get involved…
Chuckling darkly, she glared at her reflection.
“If they knew what you’ve done, they wouldn’t be so welcoming.”

The Cancelled Flight
First off, I never expected to get 14 prompts in a handful of hours. If only I had the time to write them all! But for tonight, this is the one that got pulled out of the hat.
For @lenfaz who requested, “I know we hate each other but it’s Christmas eve (or any other date) and your flight was cancelled please come inside.”
_______________________
Emma couldn’t decide which she hated the most – the big block letters spelling out CANCELLED under her flight number, the foot of snow outside, or Killian fucking Jones and the smirk she’d like to slap off his obnoxiously attractive face.
Killian. She hated Killian the most.
“Well, love, looks like we’ll be spending Christmas on our own this year.” He didn’t sound the least bit disappointed.
“Tomorrow is Christmas Eve. We can catch a flight in the morning. They’ll have to rebook everyone somehow.” Rubbing the back of her neck and squeezing her eyes shut against the headache brewing behind her brows, Emma reminded herself she was nearly thirty years old and could not have a temper tantrum in the middle of the airport.
He had the nerve to laugh.

Time After Time: Part 3
So, here it is. The last piece of Time After Time. This one kicked my ass. Really. I’m nervous, but also a little excited, I knew this was how I wanted to finish this, but we’ll see if you guys like it.
Emma thinks the reason Liam doesn’t like her is because he believes she’s not good enough for Hook. But what if there is more to it than just that? Because the Underworld isn’t the first time Liam Jones meets Emma Swan.
Part One - Part Two - A03
Hook can feel all their eyes on him but he doesn’t say a word. The anger that is coursing through his veins is close to exploding and he clenches his jaw to keep calm.
“Mate…” Robin starts, but Hook holds up his hand to stop him.
His gaze stays locked on the illustration in front of him of his younger self and Emma kissing.

Tumblr media
Words: 1107 Paring: Bucky Barnes x Reader Warnings: idk, fluff? Requested by @sexymackstan “You’re a civilian and you’re married to Bucky, you know all of Bucky’s past and you knew what he had went through. You were building a life together and a new house next to Clint and Laura’s house, you and Bucky had been close with them over the past 5 months ever since Clint saved his life, you were forever in debt to him. You just given birth to your baby girl, she has him wrapped around her fingers every moment of the day… when you find Jamie (your baby girl) fast asleep in Bucky’s arms.” A/n: I kind of changed a little bit of the prompt but for the most part I think it’s followed pretty well.. :D
Masterlist.
“What do you mean he’s not responding!” You yelled to Steve.
“He’s not answering me. Anyone got eyes on Bucky?” He asked through the coms. You were at the facility while your husband was on a mission with his team.
“He’s down.” Clint’s voice rang through. At first, you were planning on working on getting ready to build your new life. But then, Bucky was called on an emergency mission, and the best thing you could do was sit there and listen.
“Do you see him?” Steve asked.
“He’s surrounded. At gun point.” Clint reported, and you flinched, scared for his life.
Clint yelled a few things and there was a lot of noise, you couldn’t make out anything.
“What was that?” Steve yelled.
“I got him, we need to get back to the jet, he’s hurt pretty bad.” Clint said.
“Wanda, you see them?” Cap asked.

Home Is Not a Place [Bucky x Reader] One Shot.
Title: Home Is Not a Place
 Pairing: Bucky x Reader
Request/Summary: Follow-up to Talk Me Out of It. It’s been years since Civil War and the disbanding of the Avengers, but a looming threat brings the team back together.
Warning: Spoilers for Civil War. Speculation for Infinity Wars.
Tumblr media
It had been four years since the signing of the Sokovian Accords and the implosion of the Avengers.
While Tony and his team had remained comfortably in the States, doing as they were told, those of you who followed Steve were at bit a of a loss initially.
Hiding out in Wakanda, life was vastly different. While T’Challa made every effort to keep you comfortable, the team was going a bit stir crazy. Clint missed his family, Steve was tense and unhappy with Bucky so close but ultimately so far away, Sam and Scott were bored to tears. Wanda was the only one who didn’t seem to mind it so much. Here she was free to explore her powers, and in time she was learning not to fear them. But there were times, when she would sit by herself and stare off into the distance, that you knew she was thinking about Pietro and Vision, unable to escape the feeling of loneliness.
You understood that well.
You had never been one for making connections. In your line of work, it just didn’t pay off. People died or turned on you, relying on them would come at too high a cost. You had changed once you joined the Avengers. You started to let people in. You and Nat would commiserate about your questionable pasts. Tony would let you test his newest inventions. You would join Steve on his quest to catch up to the present, the Star Wars marathon had been a particularly fun day.
But now Tony and Nat were across the world and unable or unwilling to reach out. And Steve, poor Steve, was in a strange state of mourning for a friend not dead, but still lost to him.

“So whats it going to be, Charming?” Shanna chuckled, gazing at her brother with a curious look.
Being an actor in hollywood, you run into thousands of girls. Some who are breathtakingly beautiful that have caught Chris’ attention. But not one has ever made him feel the way you did.
He was completely and utterly drawn to you. Through out the day, he wasn’t able to focus on anything and anyone but you and he wasn’t sure why. You were on a different level. Like a fresh of breath air that he didn’t want to stop breathing.
This was new to him. And it scared him.
“Chris!” Carly snapped her fingers in his face. “I’m sorry to rush you, but my feet are killing me. So–”
“Right. Sorry.” He muttered. A soft smile formed on his lips. “You guys should go home.”
The Evans shared a glance, smirks plastered on to each of their faces. They couldn’t deny the joy they felt inside.
“Good choice.” Scott chuckled.
Chris slightly giggled as he felt his stomach begin to churn. Not because he felt nervous, but because he somehow knew that this just might be the best decision he has ever made.
“I’ll see you later. Drive safe, Okay?” He muttered, giving them each a hug.
“We will. Now hurry up ad go get your girl before you miss your chance.” Carly stated.
With one deep breath, Chris nodded and turned on his heels. Facing the park once again, he began to make his way. His heart beat fell in sync with each step he took.
“Please, be there.” He mumbled to himself.
Though the park was just half an hour to closing, the line to Matterhorn was still long. Which meant you and the girls had time to post pictures on Instagram, go through twitter and look at each others snapchat stories.
It was a nice break to say the least. But you were to focused on the words they spoke about Chris. It was hard to falter your thoughts anywhere else.
You couldn’t wrap your mind around it. How could Chris Evans, an actor who could have anyone he wanted, want you? It just didn’t make sense.
“Hello!” Charm shook your arm, grabbing your attention. “I asked if you were okay.” She chuckled.
Forcing a smile, you nodded. Though you wanted to tell her everything you were thinking, you just couldn’t find the words.
“She’s probably thinking about Chris Evans!” Penny teased.
“You rolled your eyes, and huffed. “What I am thinking about is food because I am fucking hungry.” You chuckled. “I want a churro.”
“Then go get one, we will hold your spot.” Rashelle stated.
“Okay. Do any of you want anything?” You asked.
“I want a water!” Addie muttered.
“Oh me too!”
“And me!”
You let out a laugh, as you placed your phone back into your pocket.
“I’ll just get everyone a water.” You cackled. “Alright, I’ll be back.”
Turning on your heels, you started toward the little food cart. Finally you were alone, and you felt relieved. You loved your friends more than anything, but with their constant babbling over Chris, you needed a little second to yourself. To breathe and collect your thoughts before you started over thinking every little detail.
And that was one thing you dreaded most. Being stuck in your head for too long.
As you made your way through the crowd, Chris paced around, his eyes searching for you and only you. With stopping here and there to snap a picture with fans and what not, he never took his focus off you.
He was beginning to feel like he had missed his chance, as he continued around the park. He started with Adventureland first, then made his way around, leading him toward Tomorrowland.
With each passing second, his anxiety began to wash over him. Knowing that he had just might lost you for good made him nervous.
But in just a few strides, he finally found you.
As his eyes fell upon your silhouette, he felt a sense of relief. Falling into ease as a smile slowly crept on his lips.
You were oblivious to your surroundings, as you focused on a little baby in a stroller who was giggling to herself while you continued to make funny faces. Usually, people would tend to their phones, but you there you were, giggling along with the baby.
Chris could watch you all day. Which may sound creepy in a sense, but he enjoyed seeing you smile, and being yourself.
“Hi, can I help you?” The worker asked.
You nodded, as you took a step toward the cart, which cued Chris. He felt his heart begin to pound, as he heard you order the few items.
“A churro?” He muttered, immediately grabbing your attention. “You got to go with the Mickey ice cream bar!”
For a moment, you were at lost for words, as your eyes widened. Was he really there? Or were you just so tired that you were beginning to hallucinate?
“Don’t get me wrong, a churro is nice, but you just got to go with the mickey bar.”
A smile formed on your lips, as your stomach fluttered immensely. “Yeah, but I feel like eating something warm.” You stated. “What are you doing here anyways?”
He dug his hands deep into his pockets, as he shrugged his broad shoulders. his eyes never leaving you. “I couldn’t leave yet. I had one more thing to do.”
As you opened your mouth to ask what it was, the worker had interrupted you with your items.
She handed you five water bottles, including the churro. In this moment, you regretted going alone. “Dammit.” You mumbled, as you struggled to hold everything.
Chris let out a chuckle, as he took three of the bottles from your hand and held them in his.
“I definitely didn’t think that through.” You giggled. “Thanks.”
He nodded, “Looks like I was destined to run into you again. Don’t think you could have carried these without me.” He winked.
The blood rushed up to your cheeks, as you both started back toward Matterhorn, where the girls waited for you.
“So, whats that thing you needed to do?” You asked, taking a bite of your churro.
Chris only smiled, as he looked at you. He wasn’t sure how to say it. Or what he wanted really. He knew he wanted to see you once again, but was he ready to jump back into something after being hurt by someone he thought was it?
His question was answered right away, as you took another big bite of the churro, only to cover your mouth and part of your chin with cinnamon.
He belted out into laughter, as you giggled as well. Your cheeks were slightly puffed from the food that stuffed in your mouth. “Shut up!” You mumbled, though it was muffled.
“I’m sorry. I’m sorry.” He chuckled. Stopping you, he placed two water bottles in one hand and the other bottle in between his side and arm. “Here.” His voice was soft as his fingers gently wiped your chin.
Chills covered your entire body, as you gazed up at him. Every inch of you froze, and your breath shook in the back of your throat.
He was beautiful. The way his eyes gazed over you, the way his nose slightly flared every time he took in a breath. You were lost in his trance, and you were somehow okay with it.
“The thing I had to do, was to find you.” He whispered.
You furrowed your brows, his eyes meeting yours. “M-me? W-Why?”
“Alright, this may sound cheesy and what not but I was wondering if maybe you would like to go out for some coffee or something?” He asked.
You were taken aback, confused more now than before. “W-Wait, like on a date?”
“Yea. Like a date.” He smiled, pushing a strand of your hair behind your ear.
Before you could let out a word, you were interrupted by a voice.
“Y/N! There you are!” Rashelle exclaimed. “We are about to get on.” She paused for a moment, and looked at Chris, immediately flashing a smile. “I thought you left?”
Chris let out a breath, and nudged your side. “Yea but, I had a feeling Y/N needed me, and I was right. You should’ve seen her trying to carry all of this by herself.” He teased.
You felt the blood rush up to your cheeks, as you playfully rolled your eyes. “No, Chris here was just stalking me, thats all.”
Rashelle couldn’t stop from smiling as she glanced at you then at Chris, knowing damn well what was going on. “Well, we need to get back.” She stated. “You coming?”
For a moment, Chris hesitated, but shrugged his shoulders and smiled. “The nights still young, why not?”
The wind felt great against your skin as you went through the ride, screaming and cackling with every sharp turn and dips it made. But here you were climbing out, and making your way to toward the exit.
You had the time to think over Chris’ question, and you did what your friends told you, to take a risk. Tapping his shoulder, he looked into your eyes and smiled.
This was it, you were finally going to give in and take the risk. To take a chance on him and what could possibly be truly amazing.
Your heart was pounding rapidly in your chest, but with one soft smile, you began to feel yourself fall into ease.
“I–”
Before getting another word out, you were interrupted, again.
“Chris?” An unfamiliar voice muttered.
Turning your gaze back, Chris felt his body grow still as his breath hitched to the back of his throat.
“Minka?” He finally let out.

No One Won Today (Barton/Rogers x reader)
CIVIL WAR REQUEST Hi bonnie! can I request a one-shot where the reader’s boyfriend or girlfriend is on the other team and when the fighting is over or starting (haven’t seen the movie yet), they’re just like “I’m so sorry”? Thanks <3
When Steve raised his web-covered hands into the air and an arrow shot through them to break him free, your heart sank and your anger began to boil.  This wasn’t supposed to become a fight, and now that it had, you were suddenly much less concerned with the issues that brought you here.  Working your way through the group, you managed to get Steve backed into a corner and your arm tightly around his throat.

Word Count:1,150

“Whatever you’re gonna get is fine, just make sure you don’t forget my cookies,” Natasha insisted, hovering over you as you leaned over the counter, adding items to the grocery list. You smiled, writing in “Nat’s cookies” in all capital letters at the top of the page. She laid a hand on small of your back and pressed a quick kiss to the side of your head before moving around the island counter, settling in on a chair on the opposite side of you.
“You tell me that every time, you know. I don’t think it’s possible for me to ever be able to forget them.” You looked up from your paper for a moment as you spoke, watching as her red hair gleam in the morning sunlight. She was one of your closest friends, but sometimes she still managed to surprise you. Bad-ass Russian spy and assassin: scary when she was coming at you with the intention of killing you, even scarier when she didn’t get her favorite snacks. “I’m gonna change your middle name to that, actually,” you continued as you looked back down at your list, trying to remember what else you’d forgotten. “Natasha ‘don’t-forget-my-cookies’ Romanoff.”

Killian said “you’d be surprised what they teach you in the Navy” and it got me thinking about what they wouldn’t teach him in the Navy, and so this itty bitty thing was born.
that old feeling (or ‘the five times Killian Jones dances and the one time he doesn’t.’) ao3 | ffn
I.
He rolls his sleeves up and his mother’s laughter rings through the room like a catching melody. It takes him a few moments but he finally manages to place both of his bare feet on top of hers, hands grasping at her much larger ones. He adjusts his neck, craning it all the way back so that he can see the dark curls that frame his mother’s face, her eyes that shine a wondrous glow in the low torchlight.
Liam chuckles from his place by the fire, looking up from the novel in his hand to regard Killian with mirth. He scrunches his brows at his elder brother, close to sticking his tongue out in annoyance until he hears his mother call his name.
“Are you ready, my love?” she questions, smiling.

the one where Killian proposes
Because we didn’t get our proposal in the finale, I decided to write not one, but two proposal stories– one where Killian proposes, and one where Emma does. I had a rough draft of this one fleshed out before, deleted it, and then decided to do it again. I haven’t even started the second, but just know that it will get done.
Ciao <3
I talked to your dad go pick out a white dress it’s a love story, baby, just say yes
Killian Jones has faced countless awful monsters, staring them straight in the face without batting an eye. He’s encountered terrible storms, knowing that he would lose crew members in even their best scenarios, but braved them anyway. He’s even dealt with death itself on more than one occasion, each time fixing the cruel fate with a steady gaze. He’s handled the world’s worst, quite literally, and came out of it able to tell the tale. Yet, here he stands, absolutely terrified to his core, of speaking to the teenage boy standing across from him.
Mermaids? Sure, he can take the beasts. The god of the Underworld? Certainly worth an eye roll. But asking the son of the woman you love for his permission to marry her?
Nothing is scarier.

Sebastian could feel his heart thud with every step he took. Every part of him grew weary as he got closer. This wasn’t like him. He hasn’t felt this nervous about a girl since middle school, and for that, you scared him.
You laugh became distinct, and soon, he would be beside you. he contemplated his words over and over again. Trying to figure out exactly what the hell he was going to say exactly. But it was too late.
“Hey Seb!” Scarlett smiled, taking him in for a quick hug.
You glanced at him, your stomach fluttering as your eyes met. Luckily for you, your mind was slightly hazed from all the drinks, which kept you from being a flustering mess.
“We were just talking about you.” Scarlett chuckled.
Seb swallowed hard, his stomach churned so much, he was beginning to feel nauseas.
“Yea, we were talking about your gorgeous hair.” You teased. “We were wondering what you use for it, because its on point all the time.”
He glanced at you, and suddenly he fell at ease. Hearing your sassy tone and sarcastic remark, made him drawn to you even more. “Well you know, not everyone is blessed with perfect hair.” He shrugged.
You let out a chuckle, along with Scarlett who dramatically rolled her eyes. “I need to use the ladies room.” She muttered. “I’ll be back.”
As she left to the bathroom, you turned to Sebastian. “I wanted to say you were incredible in the movie.” You exhaled.
He flashed you a soft smirk, turning his body facing you. Giving you his full attention. “Well thank you.” He smiled.”I am happy you enjoyed it.”
“Enjoyed it? I fucking loved it.” You cackled. “Seriously, the stunts, the angst, and everything else, it was perfect! I was torn between team cap and team iron man.” Once you realized you were babbling, you winced. “Sorry, I’m being a fangirl aren’t I?”
Sebastian was smiling from ear to ear, as he shrugged. “Maybe a little” He muttered, which created your lips to drop. He titled his head, his gaze locked with yours. “But, its cute”
Your stomach fluttered once again, as the blood rushed to your cheeks, making you blush.
He noticed it right away, and suddenly, he realized now was his chance. “Would you like to get out of here?” He asked, his hands deep into his pocket. “Just go somewhere a little private?”
For a moment, you thought he was kidding, but the longer you studied his face, you nodded. “Sure.”
He flashed you a smile, and took your hand into his. “Come on, I saw a little bakery a few blocks away.”
And just like that, you were both running out of the Hotel and into the crowded streets of London.
“You’re going to love the red velvet cake they have.” He chuckled.
“Baked Goods?” You read, looking over the sign that lit up over the store.
Seb flashed you a soft smirk, and shrugged. “Great name.”
A little chuckle fell from your lips as you followed him into the bakery. An immediate rush of cinnamon scent filled your nose as the warmth of the store made you smile.
It smelt amazing, and made you hungrier than before.
There was a small table in the corner, away from everyone. He lead you over, and pulled out your chair, making your stomach flutter.
“Thanks.” You breathed.
Sebastian took a seat across from you, running a hand through his slick hair, his blue eyes meeting yours.
He didn’t say a word, just stared endlessly at you, making the heat radiate off your body, giving you a sense of uneasiness. “W-WHat?” You cocked a brow.
He leaned on his elbows, and smirked. “You’re beautiful.” He whispered.
And just like that, your cheeks flushed with red and you were a flustering mess.
The waitress made her way over to you, a smile lingering her lips as she locked her eager eyes on Sebastian.
“H-Hi, W-What can I-I  get for y-you?” She was obviously nervous.
Seb looked up at her, and chuckled. “Hi! Can I get the Russian Roulette?” He asked.
She could only nod, her poor hands shaking as she wrote on her notepad. “I’ll bring t-that right out.”
Turning on her heels, she hurriedly walked away. You could just imagine what she was feeling, since you were feeling the exact same thing. Luckily for you, you had a couple of hours to adjust to the shock.
“So-” He muttered, grabbing your attention. “What was your favorite part of the movie?”
“Um..” You drawled out, puckering your lips as your thought it over for a moment. “I think when Bucky took the bike from that pedestrian. That was so hot!-” You cleared your throat, feeling embarrassment wash over you. “I mean it was cool.”
His lips curved at the edges, studying every aspect of your face. There was just something about you that drew him more into you. The pull was so strong, he couldn’t tear away no matter how hard he tried.
“What made you such a big fan of comics?” He asked.
For a moment, you refrained from opening your mouth. It wasn’t something you talked about, it was personal. But being there with him, and seeing him smile at you the way he did, you somehow felt safe.
“I moved a lot when I was a kid. I went to so many schools, i lost count. So, I didn’t care to make friends, because I didn’t see the point. I was just going to move again.” You exhaled. “So, I lost myself in the world of Comic books. My dad had a lot of them and one day, while we were unpacking, I came across them and I just fell in love.”
He listened to every word you spewed, intrigued every second you spoke. You didn’t dare look at him, but you could feel his gaze.
“Well, I am glad you found them, because they brought you here.”
As you shot your eyes up and met his, your breath immediately hitched to the back of your throat. Why he was flirting with you, you had no idea. But you definitely did not mind.
The waitress brought over the plate, and placed it down in front of you. She also had a bottle of wine, with two glasses in her other hand. Flashing a cheeky grin, she looked at Seb. “Complimentary of the Baker.”
“Oh wow, thank you!” He exclaimed.
She made her way back, squealing with her other coworkers, and trying to secretly snap photos of him from a distance. Though, you knew what was going on.
“Okay, are you ready?” He muttered, snapping you out of your daze.
You furrowed your brows, and tilted your head to the side. “For what?”
“For the yummiest game in the world.”
“And whats that?”
He removed the plastic lid from the plate, exposing little pieces of different types of desserts.
“Alright, a few years ago, I got lost out here and found this place.” He stated. “And I ordered the Russian Roulette, which is a handful of random dessert treats, but you don’t know what they are. Its kind of-”
“Taking a risk.” You finished.
A smile formed, as he nodded. “Y-Yea. You don’t know what you will get until you take a bite.”
This was something you had never seen or experienced in your life. It was different, and it made your stomach flutter with excitement.
“Sweet! Let’s do this.”
He motioned to the plate, “Ladies first.”
As you looked over the desserts, contemplating which on you wanted to try first, he poured wine into both of your glasses.
You picked up the treat, nervous and hoping it wasn’t bad. You closed your eyes, and slowly you took a small little bite. The cherry flavored filling, dripped on your lip, as you pulled it away from your mouth. It was by far the best thing you ever tasted.
It was still warm, and the chocolate was moist with a hint of cinnamon.
Sebastian watched you closely. He couldn’t help but chuckle as you hummed to yourself, taking in the greatness.
“I’m guessing you liked it?”
Fluttering your eyes open, you nodded. Licking the filling off your bottom lip. “It’s the greatest thing I ever tasted.” You muffled.
He tilted his head back and laughed, his hand clutching his chest.
“Your turn!” You cackled.
Seb felt confident. Usually, he loved each dessert he had ever tasted in that tiny bakery. But boy, was he regretting his choice. He took a bite into a lemon flavored chocolate truffle that he immediately spat out into a napkin.
You were bursting into laughter, seeing his face scrunch, it was hard not to chuckle.
“Man, that was disgusting.” He groaned.
It went on like that for about an hour. You had spent your time laughing, joking around and talked to him about each others likes and dislikes and what not. There were no awkward silences, no pressure conversations. Everything flowed without any force, and for that, you were falling deeper into him.
Tonight was more than you could ask for. It was like a dream come true, spending this time With Sebastian, you didn’t want it to end.
“We should go, I think we are the last people here.” He whispered, his face flushed from all the wine.
You snorted, throwing your hand to your mouth. “Oops.” You chuckled.
From drinking the entire bottle of wine, you could say you were both pretty buzzed. Your mouth stained with light red, as well as his.
Seb helped you up to your feet, and left a great pay on the table. His hand pressed against the small of your back, as you both made your way out of the bakery that you will forever hold dearly in your heart.
“Do you want to walk back to the hotel with me?” He asked.
You only nodded, your lips curling.
Your steps were small and slow. Taking your time so you could spend just a little more time alone with him.
“Alright, if your house as on fire and you only had ten seconds, what would you take?” He asked, his hands digging deep into his front pockets.
“What?” You asked.
“If there was a fire happening in your house, and you had Ten seconds to grab the most important thing in your life, the thing you just can’t live without, what would it be?”
Being taken aback, you shrugged your shoulders. “I-I don’t know.” You exhaled. “I never thought about it, what would you take?”
“Well, that all depends.”
“On what?”
He shook his head, meeting your gaze. “That is a secret.” He smiled.
“What? How is that fair!” You asked.
Seb didn’t feel this was the moment to tell you. He wasn’t ready, in fear of the truth. So instead, he distracted you by doing the first thing that came to mind. He picked you up off the ground, threw you over his shoulder and sprinted down the sidewalk.
You were belting out squeals, and hitting his lower back, and ass. Demanding he let you down. Though deep down you were having the time of your life.
After a block, he finally caved and set you back to your feet. His breathing was heavy as he flashed a cheeky grin at you.
“That was not cool!” You exclaimed, your cheeks hurting from smiling so much.
“Oh come on, you loved it.”
And so you did. More than anything.
Being with him, getting to know him as an actual person and not what the media shows, you were definitely falling, fast. He was amazing, and sweet and by far the funniest guy you had ever met.
He wasn’t afraid of being himself, of showing you his goofy, dorky side and you weren’t either.
You were both coming undone in each others eyes. Breaking down the walls that kept you from exposing too much of yourselves. You felt safe, and comfortable with one another.
The walk to the hotel lasted another twenty minutes. Which gave you more time to talk.
In those minutes, you had talked about everything and anything that came to mind. From movies, to aliens, to animals and even traveling. There were no limits, no boundaries.
And to think Seb couldn’t possibly be more attracted to you before?
It was a bitter sweet moment as you finally made it to the hotel.
Neither of you wanted to say goodbye, but the reality was you and your best friend were leaving tomorrow night. So, it was inevitable.
“I had a great time tonight.” You smiled.
He ran his fingers through his hair, pushing the strands out of his eyes. “I did too. You are one hell of a girl.”
A blush crept your cheeks, as you tried to play it off. “You’re not so bad yourself.”
There it was, that damn smile that hooked Sebastian in the first place. He swallowed hard, glancing at your lips, feeling a pull. He was scared to say the least, but then he remembered Chris’ words and suddenly he found the small little window of courage.
Seb strode over to you, and in that very second, he crashed his lips against yours. His heart pounded rapidly in his chest, feeling as though it were about to jump out. but the moment your hand clasped to the back of his neck, and you pulled him in closer, he fell at ease.
Those few seconds of insane courage was all he needed. Those few seconds reminded him what it felt to be alive.
His lips curved, as he leaned his head against yours. “Goodnight Y/N” He whispered.
Your breath shook in your throat, as your mind hazed with different emotions coursing through you.
“G-Goodnight.” You exhaled.
