Tell me your frog headcanons. I like the frog a lot
ohhhh goddd i am so sorry these have taken so long WE HAVE A LOT OF THOUGHTS but it's a lot to write them all down in between college and work. BUT THE TOAD:
-likes music a lot!! it'll hum along and even though it feels very peaceful in the moment (kinda like how taii described hookah caterpillar's containment in wonderlab) this does a lotta white damage
-doing instinct work is tough because it's feeding the toad, and you have to be careful of its tongue to avoid white damage. it likes sour food the most and makes the funniest face tho. frog eat lemon!
-after a bad work it gets frustrated and cries really loud... the next agent to go into its unit might need some kind of soundproof headphones
-a lot less soft or squishy than it looks, very tough. almost feels kinda like metal or rocks with a rubber sheet placed on it?
-when the eye is popped out and given to someone as a gift, it regenerates within the hour! the eye gift is probably a little brooch gift... a reminder of a listening to its gloomy tune
-likes having a bit of water poured on it. not too much though
hope these are enough!! sorry they're not too substantial oughhh - mod mountain

Any HCs about Sunset Traveler? I think it's my favorite out of the new abnormalities.
Mango slice my friend mango slice....
A Zayin abnormality! Likely one of very few benevolent abnormalities, any harm it does isn't with intent. It doesn't even breach!
Instead, it offers you the opportunity to sit and take a break with it. Those with low enough temperance....never get back up again, with their bodies turning into an eclipse of moths. It's the perfect sendoff into eternal rest...
Its EGO gift is a comfy orange scarf :]
It enjoys chatting with employees when it gets the chance to, and possesses a calming aura that can put more hostile people at ease
Loves bugs! Its favorites in particular are butterflies and moths, obviously

Sorry if this has been asked before but i am very curious about aberrations, it seems like they have opposing themes to the originals, but still have a lot of similarities. How are they even made?
You're actually the first to ask us about aberrations!
Wonderlab doesn't exactly give a source for them, but I reason they just come from the same sources abnormalities do (spawned naturally, extracted from the Well, etc) with the caveat that their source abnormality needs to exist somewhere first. I wouldn't necessarily call their themes purely oppositional to the original abno either, I think your mileage can vary depending on the aberration in question!

do you have headcanons concerning apocalypse bird?
Mod Frei here! Unfortunately we don't, it's just a fusion of the 3 birds that only appears under specific circumstances...
To me it's just a monster like in its story, it's only concerned with finding and driving away the monster even though its not in the black forest anymore. It's not docile in this state and attacks anything it sees...

Mod Headcanon Corner: Punishing Bird
- Just a little guy! Despite everything, it's just a little bird and appreciates things such as toys and other forms of environment.
- However, it's demeanor is nowhere near as sweet. Punishing Bird delights in causing mischief and bothering people, knowing full well they can't retaliate at the cost of their life.
- Breaches frequently not just to find people to punish, but it's mostly done out of boredom and wanting something to do.
- It's developed a habit of taking things during it's little excursions through the facility, which litter the floor of its unit. If you've lost something it's very likely Punbird took it.
- Acts COMPLETELY different when an employee it likes visits it. Normally it's completely silent sitting on its branch, but it starts to chirp and peep with its favored employees and will approach them for scritches and attention.
- As such, it will visit employees it likes when it breaches and perch on them for attention. It can be a bit defensive of its favored employees and will nip at anyone who gets too close to them.
- HATES baby talk, it considers it patronizing and it wants to be taken seriously.

Hey! I know that you already did a headcanon list for nothing there, but do you have something for how it could give an agent its gift? Thank you!!
I'm not the NT expert by any means, but I personally think that it doesn't exactly "give" you its gift like most abnos do. You sort of just...walk out of its unit after a work and you feel something strange on your cheek and whoops! It's eyes! Thanks NT.
However I also can see it sorta. Patting an employee's face with the hand on top of its head, and the eyes end up sprouting from there...either one works!

ooo, also. do you have any headcanons for nosferatu? i've been keeping away from library of ruina stuff mostly since i don't want to spoil myself but nosferatu is one of the things in lor that i actually look into since he's also an unused abnormality in lobcorp and i want to use him in a lobcorp rp i'm hosting for my friends (and also he just looks really cool), so i'm interested in hearing what different people think of him!
He initially didn't interest us much, but workshopping these hcs helped us appreciate him a little more :) Hope you enjoy these! - Mod Frei
- He's the creator of all bloodfiends. This makes him thousands of years old, and a natural born abnormality to boot.
- Very behind on modern things as a result. Typically he doesn't really care to understand either, but if something piques his interest he'll try himself to learn about it (and end up asking another bloodfiend for help, begrudgingly)
- Has expensive tastes, his whole mansion is decorated with exotic and expensive furniture rather than the flesh most bloodfiends seem to like building with. He’s not too sure where that trend started, really.
- Only really cares about things that excite him and tends to act on a whim. Sometimes he'll be among humans simply to observe for his own amusement, or cause chaos just for the fun of it.
- Surprisingly good humored! If you come across him and manage to amuse him, he'll probably let you live. Humans may be something he feeds on, but that doesn't mean he can't find them funny!
- Generally dramatic and theatrical, standing in stark contrast to most other bloodfiends. Can sometimes be a bit of a flirt, but it's moreso a means of luring in victims than any real interest.
- His monster form is his true form, while the human form is more of a disguise taken for vanity's sake and his own comfort though he will shift to it if he needs to defend himself. Compliment him, he eats those up and takes pride in his appearance.

can we get some blue star hcs maybe?
(bonus question: can blue star manifest as anything other than a weird leg creature with a heart in the center or is it permanently stuck like that? if so, what causes them to appear that way?)
Blue star was kinda tricky to work with, I hope you like these :]
- Like Mosb, Blue Star is an abnormality made from people. Not in a literal sense, it was created from the employee's desire for salvation from the hellhole that is the facility. It was born in an abyss of despair that the facility DEFINITELY qualifies as, and promises desperate employees it'll take them away to a better place where they can reunite with love ones lost.
- As a result of that desire, people who are pulled into its core aren't recoverable at all. Even with Record's power over the lives of employees, once they're sucked into the core they're free from the facility.
- It's capable of communication, but only its faithful or those it wants to save can hear its voice.
- Hates WhiteNight just as much as it hates it. The "salvation" it claims to bring is nothing more than servitude and it prolongs the suffering of employees.
- Its gift grants the wearer the ability to see through objects, like how its ability can pull people through walls and other obstacles. This makes the mask sort of useless, though.
- The legs that make up most of its body are connected to its faithful, past and present. It doesn't steal legs or anything, its moreso a symbolic/aesthetic thing than anything else. This means sometimes one of its legs will be tattooed or scarred to reflect its owner.
- As such, if you're fast and can get it before they can fling themselves into its core, defeating Blue Star can sever its connection to its faithful and free them from its cult.
- Likes insight work because looking after it and keeping its area tidy is a sign of one's faith and respect for it.
As far as why it chooses to appear with all its legs...I honestly have no idea. I like to think it can ALSO manifest with arms over legs but I don't think it has any real reason or purpose. It's just...like that for fun. The core is its true body, though! - Mod Frei

pl ease..... tell me abt ur ocs i want to hear it. i never see anything about lob ocs
This IS an abno hc blog but like. We LOVE talking abt our ocs we have so many! We’ll talk abt one of ours each for now but aren’t opposed to more prodding abt them
To keep on the topic of abnos, I present you with my oc Ketchup! They’re a former Lobcorp employee parasitized into a sort of abnormality by Parasite Tree. Despite the tree’s malicious intentions with the employee Ketchup used to be, Ketchup themselves is actually rather sweet! They love making friends and helping people out however they can, so they tend to wander the facility doing tasks the sefirot or other employees give them. Due to their nature as an abnormality they can’t be killed, making them useful as bait or working with more risky abnos. Some of their funky abilities include being able to control plants and growing flowers wherever they linger, and they bleed ketchup (which is where they get their namesake). Despite being friendly and sweet it unnerves a lot of other people, so their only true friend is a certain machine....
which is where i come in! mod mountain here w my funny robot, kit! theyre not programmed for free thought like angela, only to obey the company without question.. (yes im aware they wouldnt fit into the plot but its Fine) their job is to work w alephs, typically nothing there and mosb! they tend to act as outlets for these abnos violent tendencies, since they have a ton of spare bodies and they tend to break easily. ketchup sticks to them! typically theyre seen delivering food to mountain’s unit and ketchup follows along all curious... they’re emotionless now but in ruina they soften up after the light...
that’s all i got! i have a ton of nuggets so if anyone wants to hear abt our ocs please let us know,, love talkin bout em

king of greed? ur fish gnc af. also love the blog you all do good work
Hey, thank you so much!! We appreciate all the support ;w; anyway onto the hcs for the BEST magical girl obvs
- The eldest of her sisters and the former leader of their group. She was consequently the first of them all to fall.
- The "window" on her egg is more like...a semi-permeable membrane. If she allows it, things can pass through it to her though she will never attempt to leave.
- She's a lot quieter and more muted now than she was in the past, though sometimes you can see glimpses of her former confident self when she talks.
- Loves to watch movies. She's pretty attentive and entertainment that doesn't require leaving the egg is good for her. She particularly enjoys hero movies, they remind her of her glory days.
- When giving her gift to employees, she beckons for them to push their hands through her window. She takes their hand, kisses it, and the glove manifests on their hand.
- If left idle, she tends to nap through her days to reduce her chances of losing control. Employees frequently visiting her isn't something she minds though, she likes being spoken to.

I adore musing as White Lake, so I'd like to hear what your headcanons are for it .o.
Smh everyone knows the superior swan is black swan /j
- Despite her elegant and regal appearance, she's quite snarky and mean. She's only ever kind to employees she plans on gifting.
- Sees herself as a form of royalty, and will often refuse to speak with employees unless they address her properly. Overall, she's pretty prideful and haughty.
- Her chirping is used as a warning to agents to tell them to back off from her. It also serves as a good way of telling when she'll activate her ability.
- Depending on the agent's highest stat, the weapon they summon is different. Fortitude summons a rifle, prudence a sword, temperance a spear, and justice a rapier. Fortitude sticks out because its her least favored work, and rifles are commonly used to hunt swans.
- The way each weapon is summoned is different too. For example, the spear is pulled from a rift that forms in the agent's chest, the rifle is summoned by them pressing their hands together and pulling them apart, etc
- Dislikes the Blue Smocked Shepard due to their crass way of speaking, and the fact that they abuse animals.
- Since her gift triggers her ability, with agents she genuinely likes she has an alternate gift. It's a crown of roses!
- Likes to sing and dance alone in her unit, it's a rare sight for employees to catch.
