Turgon enjoys taking his time on anything, the more important it is the more he enjoys lingering over the details. With people that are important to him he will spend hours letting them talk if they need to just because he loves spending that time with them and hearing about things they find important.

He is very patient most of the time. There are a few times he is not patient but overall he will wait for things to happen or to see signs of things needing to happen instead of rushing into something.

Short answers are yes and yes.

Turgon has helped many people during the crossing of the ice and after in various ways, even before he tries to help them but I feel like it wasn't as easily noticed until the Helcaraxe.

He enjoys helping others, seeing their lives improve even in little ways is a delight to him. His biggest reason for creating Gondolin was because he wanted to give others a place of safety where they wouldn't have to fight.

Turgon does enjoy physical affection whether platonic or romantic. He greatly enjoys little things like holding hands or being able to brush his hand against the hand of someone he loves in someway. He isn't much of a hugger though, not outside of emotionally stressful situations but he always tries to make exceptions for people he knows use that as a sign of affection and love.

This is in general and not anyone specific, I feel I need to make that clear, but I still feel like I should reblog this here. Just so those here know that I'm not ignoring y'all I'm just being tired and a little salty in general.

Sometimes I feel so tired of fandom experiences. It just seems so full of bad faith views, policing others, and is just generally unpleasant sometimes. If you're wondering why I haven't been around, that's the reason. I'm tired, and I'm tired of seeing people having to defend ideas or opinions that don't hurt anyone.

"So it hasn't been stable since they quarried it." Turgon commented dryly. He was grateful that they had managed to avoid being caught by the ceiling falling, looking ahead he frowned. It seemed that the tunnel should be a straight run but with his senses muddled as they were, something he noticed more now than he had earlier, he couldn't be entirely sure. Still Halre indicated it would get them where they hoped to be so that was something. "Had I realized that Idril had not ensured that it was properly supported for travel I would not have suggested it."

"Once we get to a more stable area we should take a small break. I would like to make sure that our hurry doesn't worsen your injuries." Turgon was aware that he had no need to do so, but it was something he could do to help even if there was little else right then.

The draught being poured into his mouth startled Turgon and he jerked away somewhat alarmed. His eyes darted around taking in his surroundings quickly noticing the other elf and a few buildings on the verge of collapsing. Frowning he looked at him trying to remember what had happened, yet he couldn’t remember clearly what happened nor why he needed that draught.

Halrë falling off a cliff after pulling some of the survivors from a avalanche;

Turgon cautiously climbed over the snow, using the butt of his spear to check under the surface for anyone or anything that had been dragged down here. The report he'd heard said that Halre should be around the area and knowing his friend as he did Turgon didn't want to miss finding him by being careless. At last he spotted something sticking out of the snow and carefully crossed to it, kneeling down as he dug through the snowdrift for whatever it was.

Finding that it was a familiar sword he kept digging until he finally managed to uncover the smith. Smiling a little in relief he shifted back so Halre had room to sit up if he was awake. Even as he gave him room Turgon studied him to see where he was hurt or if he had managed to escape relatively unharmed.

"I must say falling off cliffs is never the fun experience my cousins always said it was."
