Ok, but like, if we do ever actually get a movie, THEY NEED TO MAKE ABED AND TROY A REAL COUPLE!!!!
Imagine a scene where they’re the last to arrive, and they’re holding hands and their first lines are, “🎶Troy and Abed are a COUPLE!🎶” And then the rest of the group are all happy and smiling with them and are like, “Finally!”
Gah!!! I NEED this to happen!

Me: Smol boy. Baby. So pure.
Everyone else: he’s literally the most evil character in the series.
Me: Adorable. Tiny kitten. Sweetling.

Can you please explain the post about WOC being loved etc. by a non-Black man not being heteronormative?
Sure!
Heteronormativity in the media is often done at the expense of LGBTQ+ representation. Black women, however, are underrepresented as love interests, especially to non-Black men. Black women as love interests to men are not a threat to LGBTQ+ representation since Black women often are reduced to the “strong and independent” trope of a character who is not written to be a love interest at all.

Ok, so I'm OBSESSED with Interview with the Vampire on AMC! But I have some questions that I NEEEED answers to! I haven't decided if i'm gonna read the books yet because i love the changes the show made too much, so please don't give, "Just read them." as an answer. It's not a light decision. I'm Black and i know all the mains in the book are white AND Louis's a slave owner, so that's already knicking off a few points for the books. Also, with Claudia being even younger AND mildly in love with Louis, well, i shouldn't HAVE to say how disgusting that is, but, this is tumblr, so, IT'S DISGUSTING.
Anyway. For fans of the show like me, if u have answers to these questions please comment! Thx!
1. Why was Armand disguised as Rashid??? Like, what was the point? So he met Daniel before with Louis.....ok........ why is it such a big deal to make sure Daniel doesn't remember that?
Tumblr media
2. When "Rashid" told Daniel, "You are chronicaling a suicide." Was he talking about Louis or Claudia? Like, Daniel writing Louis's story will be a suicide for Louis? Or because the events in Louis's story are what got Claudia killed?
Tumblr media
3. Related to 2: What's the point of the interview if Louis has finally found the love of his life with Armand? If Daniel publishes it, it could mean a death sentence for Louis like Armand said, but if Louis is finally happy with Armand now, why is he doing the interview????
Tumblr media
4. And why do some fans find Armand more toxic for Louis than Lestat? We don't even kno where the show is taking Louis and Armand's relationship. But we've seen Louis and Lestat's. Are these fans going off of something that happens between Louis and Armand in the book or are they just jumping to conclusions?

I keep seeing things where people try to define Crowley & Aziraphale's relationship as strictly platonic, and i just can't for the life of me understand why??
If it's supposed to be a love story like Gaiman said AND give LGBTQ+ relationships reprsentation than why would u want them to be platonic?? We've seen enough platonic LGBTQ+ relationships. What we don't see enough of is romantic LGBTQ+ relationships. And for the love of whatever the hell u believe in or don't, don't argue that Crowley and Aziraphale aren't human and therfore don't experience human love. That's NOT what i'm talking about. Obviously most of us see them as in love with each other all we're asking for is that THEY fucking acknowledge that too in the show as more than just friends or brothers (ya i've seen that lame argument too).
I don't believe it'd be right for Gaiman to end this story without making Crowley and Aziraphale be an official non just friends and non platonic relationship. Idk how'd he go about doing that (god forbid i bring up physical expressions of love. Learned my lesson there.) But i do believe the characters need to acknowledge in the end that they're together and in love with each other as MORE than just friends and platonic. Otherwise. It IS queerbaiting to me.

This whole Crowley & Aziraphale thing has caused me so much distress. We've been teased so much in the past with same-sex presenting characters *nearly* getting together and then the writer(s) wimping out, I'm so scared that's what's gonna happen if there even is a S3. Like, Gaiman's just gonna end it with them continuing to be "best friends" instead of something more and perpetuating that stereotype of "oh, those two really close dudes from the past were just 'good friends'". (U know all the memes of historians i'm talking abt.)
Can someone that's actually been able to make contact with Neil on here or twitter or wherever have him confirm that's NOT his plan. I've seriously been in such a deep depression over this. I'm scared i'm gonna start cutting again. It's not a joke. It's making me sick.

Ya, i'm not lovin' it. It's caused me to be massively depressed this entire month. Because we're SO close to finally getting a pair of popular LGBTQ+ characters in a relationship and I feel like it's going to be snatched away like all the other times: Supernatural, Stucky, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Sherlock, Abed and Troy, TVD; the list goes on and on.
I know it's silly, but i basically have ptsd abt it. I just can't have faith that Neil is going to keep to his word and it's making me so sick.
It also doesn't help when the actors give interviews saying things like, "Oh, i don't want to define what Crowley & Aziraphale's relationship is cos so many people have different opinions on them." Like, aren't they supposed to be a couple???? I thought that's what Neil said???? Wtf?????

Don't just run GO2 repeatedly on Amazon - it might not be counted
Tumblr media
I've read that if you just keep running Good Omens season 2, and also if you have it muted, Amazon won't count the repeated runs.
After a while, it will assume you're a bot and won't count it as a run.
To make your re-runs count, you need to come out of the run every couple of episodes and play something else on Amazon, maybe a whole episode of another series, or a film. After that, go back to where you left off with Good Omens and continue the run from where you left off.
Don't use the mute option or the volume bar on Amazon to keep the volume off. Drop the volume to very low, or mute your own speakers instead.
I read this on Facebook and it may not be accurate, but I reckon it's worth bearing in mind if we want every run of season 2 to count.

Hey, so I wanna help with the viewing thing for Good Omens to get a S3 cos I heard Gaiman already has it written AND plans to make Crowley & Aziraphale endgame, but I refuse to actually watch it til then because I know it will just send me into a deep depression slump (I already kno how S2 ends, idw actually see it until i can see them end up together).
I already had my Prime account "watch" S2 while i was out, my question is, does Prime only count your view once? Like, if i kept playing S2 in another room, would it count each time i restarted it, or does it just count that my account watched it once?

I was seriously worried abt finding old men attractive as i, too, got older (i've always liked older men anyway, but OLD men were ew.) And like, u kno, I'd be thinking, "Ugh! When i'm 70, how in the world am i supposed to find other 70+ yr olds attractive!"
But, I'm currently rewatching OUAT, and when it first started i was always like, "How could they pair Belle with such an OLD MAN." And now, years later, I'm totally crushing on Mr. Gold/Rumplestiltskin. Like, ya. Mmmmm. I get it now. 😅

Ok, so I just rewatched The Time of the Doctor again, and I was thinking about how everyone thought Clara's nan was Amy, but how no one ever stopped to think . . . . . . . . she's Amy & Rory's daughter!!!!!!
Amy would have to be over 100 to still be alive in 2013 (estimating that at the time her and Rory got trapped in the 30s she was in her 30s or even 40s). Which IS possible, BUT her gravstone said she died when she was 87.
Amy & Rory could have adopted a little girl in the 30s or 40s and SHE'S Clara's nan. That's my theory anyway.

Concerning all the discourse surrounding Crowlaphale: As a straight person, I don't think it's asking too much AT ALL to want Crowley & Aziraphale to show romantic affection on screen. Considering ALL hetero love interests get to show theirs, I think it's kind of a cop-out for everyone involved with Good Omens to say "They don't need a kiss scene, a bed scene, a holding hands scene, whathaveyou, to show they're in love." Like, fuck that. EVERY hetero relationship gets to show lovey-dovey affection on screen. The LGBTQ+ community and allies aren't asking for too much.
Even a show where the premise was that the 2 love interests couldn't physically touch or one of them would die found ways to show them being all lovey-dovey.
People like conformation that 2 characters are in love. Sure, there's other ways of showing it, but people like SEEING it. That's the point of love stories (at least to me) : to SEE the characters show their affection all mushy-gushy. It's annoying when love interests don't for too long or not at all. It's one of the main reasons I stopped watching The X-Files. Who, btw, DO eventually have scenes showing their love clearly. So, even Mulder & Scully got to physically show their love after a mind-numbingly slow-paced, drawn-out, exceptionally prolonged amount of time. But they still did. Cos again, EVERY HETERO COUPLE SHOWN ONSCREEN GETS TO SHOW THEIR LOVE FOR EACH OTHER IN SOME PHYSICAL WAY. It really isn't asking too much of Good Omens.
Edit: Also, to those that noticed: i changed the pictures out because I'm seeing more and more fanart of Aziraphale being drawn skinny and I'm not sure why artists are afraid to keep him tubby. I felt like, as a fellow tubby, I should really only be endorsing artwork where he's drawn faithfully plump, especially since we need more artwork showing diverse bodies anyway. Since i have being-chubby-body-issues, it's really nice to see artwork of a popular character who's chubby be all loved by his boo. So, we should lift that up. Ok. Bye.

My Theory: The new Rose Tyler is gonna be either Rose & TenToo's daughter or Rose and Ten's Daughter.
Hear me out: If she's Rose and TenToo's, how u may ask? OG Rose spent A LOT of time in the Tardis Just. Like. Amy.
And if she's Rose and Ten's? Well we've all heard the fan theory on that scene in "Doomsday" that Rose lied about the baby being her mum's . . . . . .
