The French onion soup I prepared last night was sublime. I still dream of its taste. Although for tonight I think of something lighter. A salad perhaps. Anyways, the dinners I cooked the past few days were spectacular and I hope to find as much time for my experiments back home.

Orthopedics with a view. I've recently started studying in the study room and it has been nice.. I hope I'm able to stick with it.

Litnof things going on personally and it's been my fault, but that doesn't make it any easier. Hadn't studied for the past 2-3 weeks and so I'm really lagging behind on everything. Need to motor.

Also planning on making some scary personal changes, but hopefully it won't be as bad as I think it will.

it’s sunday! my favorite day of the week except when i’m on duty. my beau and i had a breakfast date, then spent most of our day doing work separately. i did chores and hospital work remotely. in the afternoon i was able to find a tattoo shop somewhere near south where they are not fully booked so i got so excited! i went ahead, booked myself an appt, then had two tattoos inked on me. i’m now a tattooed girl ✨

now i’ll rest then sleep because i’m on preduty tomorrow.

Preparing for Microbiology 1’s final, scary times

I really hate this subject, I can’t wait to leave it behind.

I wanna take another final this month (Pharmacology 1) and then I have midterms for the two subjects I’m currently taking (Microbiology 2 and Pathology 1).

I really hope I can reach October with my mind in one piece 🙏🏻

On the other hand, as winter’s coming to an end, the weather’s getting warmer and it’s making me sooo happy.

August 28th:

Two hours of work in today. Not as much as I was hoping for but I kept getting frustrated when I got answers wrong and it was really demotivating. It's supposed to rain tomorrow so my mom's plan is to go shopping but that means I'll have less study time. But this is what vacation is for and I am still studying!

Accounting topic of the day: Activity based costing focuses on two types of cost activities: Value chain (aka value-added activities) and non-value-added activities. Value chain activities add customer usefulness to the product while non-value-added activities do not increase product value (such as warehousing).

Other activity: I spent about two hours on the beach today and got to take a nap out there! But I still forgot to take a picture of my book on the beach :( and with the rain I probably won't be able to get a picture tomorrow.

I just found out that my family is going to the beach next weekend for my birthday. I'm so excited to go! There are a lot of fun things to do down at the beach where we stay. There's a library very close to the beach house where we're staying; I want to see if I can sign up for a card.
