The Tiger

If a purple tigress predecessor was some type of guardian-like warrior in Feudal Japan. I feel like this design was me satisfying my 90s anime big hair urges coupled with many Komainu statue references lol. So bare minimum, if I couldn’t give tiger impressions, I wanted this predecessor to at least give strong feline energy in her design 🦁.

In your feudal Japan AU, what if the predecessor Tiger and Pig holders were forbidden lovers(because they were both women)? The tiger holder could have been the snake holder’s twin or cousin or something, while the pig holder was from a wealthy family? Just a thought.

The Snake 

This miraculous predecessor was a bit more difficult to design than usual so there may be fashion elements that don’t clearly scream “feudal Japan” than how I initially planned 😩 Nevertheless, here is Feudal Japan Viperion! 🐍🎶

Slightly similar to canon viperion, I was thinking that striking the shamisen strings would initiate the “time-travel”countdown and the snake design would indicate how much time he would have left to travel back to the initial time-travel point. Otherwise, maybe he could use the instrument as an overdecorated bat to knock folks out lol.
