tbh azula could’ve really benefited from some cactus juice. like, this was the stuff that got sokka, the grumpy old man of teenage boys, who thinks nearly everyone is an untrustworthy incompetent idiot, to say “maybe it’s friendly!” about a mushroom cloud. i genuinely believe that whatever that shit does to your brain could fix her.

Aang is east Asian and zuko is south Asian correct

Zuko is actually supposed to represent imperialist china and japan, making him east asian. Aang is supposed to represent tibetan monks, which would mean he's supposed to be central-south asian.

I would love it if they cast someone from maybe thailand or cambodia though, since those countries still have a very active buddhist community and many temples. I want Aang to clearly represent those cultures, so I would love it if they cast someone significantly darker than zuko.
