Due to my assault a few weeks ago, I went to the doctors because of getting sick and I am now pregnant. Pregnancy terrifies me and I am not equipped to take care of a baby on top of having Roman and our pets back. Because it's so early, I am able to get the pill which costs $560 at my closest planned parenthood but the farther along I get, the more things will cost especially if it gets to the point where I need the surgery cuz the pill won't work. I'm gonna add a thank you to those who have messaged me, Planned Parenthood can pay for a portion of it and the amount i set is actually the portion left after they said they could cover some of the cost! Good for anyone else in a similar position to know! I'm doing card tarot readings and @scarsofbeauty and @saturnpandora are doing art commissions. I have an interview today so hopefully I can get that job to offset some of the cost.

what really gets me is when people come in and get mad bc they thought you could get ANY bear for the promo like we dont have a whole display that says BIRTHDAY BEAR! with the specific bear. like sorry you cant get the licensed $40 sanrio bear for $2 you have to get the cheap one. you have to get the cheap one

every day dozens of times a day 30yo white women will come in and smugly ask if we have the birthday bear like theyre asking for a secret starbucks drink and not a promotion we have had for years and then they will tell me their little baby girl kollyn (real name. pronounced colin) is turning ONE year old and ill have to say happy birthday to the baby in clothes more expensive than mine and ruin the DPT for the day because build a bear thought a pay your age promo was a good idea

this is a niche one but instead of "they would not fuckin say that" it's "they would not fucking use American sign language".

ASL is not the only sign language. two british characters in your fanfiction would not be using ASL. England in fact has its own kind of sign language, BSL, that forms a sign family with many other sign languages around the world.

ASL isn't even the original member of its sign family, it comes from french sign language. do you know sign languages aren't related to spoken languages? that's an important one! it's not a direct 1:1 with people speaking English around the world. people in other countries don't learn ASL just in case they run into an usamerican or Canadian (who do often use it)

i know the entire world is the USA or whatever and sign languages do sometimes borrow from ASL for signs they don't have, but please be aware that there are other sign languages and families in the world that are not in fact ASL.
