Breaks my heart
haunted that @widobravely correctly predicted Jester’s ending in the campaign. literally haunted.
all my gift of prophecy gave me was Caleb bejeweling the cult robes and being a Jane Austen wizard. I can’t believe.

Everyone complaining about Kingsley’s new name like Molly wasn’t an ostentatious asshole who you built up to be something he wasn’t

Fjord having more sexual chemistry with Eodwulf while he’s trying to kill him than he’s ever had with Jester

Some necessary salt as we embark on the final episode: this thing is so long because they recognized that they needed to speed run the 4-5 unresolved plot points left because they need clear some stuff so the one shots will be “fun”

Beauyasha: passionate and loving relationship built on mutual support and respect over 140 episodes
Fjorester: two Christian teens in love with the idea of love. Also the guy is so deep in the closet he’s hanging out with Aslan.

Unpopular CR Opinion: Fjord is a fascinating character who makes interesting choices, but if he was a real person you would jump on a grenade to keep him from dating your friend.
Spends literal months putting on a fake accent for no reason
Threatened new friends for not doing what he told them to do
Developed magical powers literally overnight and never once investigated the origins of those powers until he was forced to
Ignored a friends feelings, kept her on the hook for months before embarrassing her by publicly hooking up with another woman
Sleeping with a (admittedly evil) woman, conspiring to kill her, getting her killed, never addressing the moral murkiness of that choice, before doing exactly what she was going to do anyway
Changing personality no less than 3-4 times within a year
Constantly looking for another man to tell him how to interact with the world
Vanity, vanity out his ass
Has a desperate need to be the big strong boy
Constantly undervalues Jesters decision making skills and strength
Makes unilateral decisions for the party only when he’s certain they’re asleep and can’t stop him
Hired a fucking bounty hunter to track down Sabien and still hasn’t told the entirety of the party
Didn’t make a move on Jester until Beau pointed out there was competition
TLDR: Fjord is a compelling character, but I’d yeet him off a cliff if he got to close to me or a friend

Essek says, “Maybe this exact moment isn’t an ideal time to be indulging in your knowledge hoarding” and “I’m not certain if we can trust you and Beau right now, because you know, your need to indulge in knowledge led to you being slowly covered in eldritch eyes”
And folks are like, “OMG! Shadowgast rights you guys!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”

Watching the scene where Fjord and Jester make out post battle provided a crystal clear mental image of two mall teens poorly making out in public. Like sucking on each each other’s noses poorly making out. The kinda making out that heralds the sort of relationship where they tell everyone that their love is unlike any other but the only lasting impact is HPV and two pregnancy scares.
