She looks so happy, twirling around, she’s wearing such a beautiful dress to.

You were never one for dressing up but for an occasion like this you wish you could’ve. You were there when she bought the dress, you had even picked it out.

Kei looked so good to. His suit looked wonderful, his usually messy hair was brushed back.

You knew that Tadashi had helped him get ready. He must’ve, you chuckled a little at the thought... Tadashi trying to force Kei into a suit.

She walked down the aisle and everyone stared. Magnificent. It was the only word to describe her beauty. Of course Kei would’ve chosen her.’

As she walked and you stood, you couldn’t keep your eyes off of her. Why? Why must the cruel universe do this to you? As they stood at the alter, you prayed one of them would back down. At your side, you knew Tadashi was thinking the same thing.

“Yachi Hitoka do you take Tsukkishima Kei to be your husband?”

There was a slight hesitation and you looked up, hopeful for a moment, but your heart broke when you realized she was just to overwhelmed with happiness to speak.

“I do.”

“Tsukkishima Kei, do you take Yachi Hitoka to be your wife?”

“I do.”

The reception was lovely. The happy couple danced and twirled, laughing, and talking with guests.

You chugged your fifth glass of champagne for the night and watched quietly as the love of your life smiled at their spouse. Tadashi finally came over to join you.

“I know what you’re thinking.”

“Oh yeah?” You questioned, reaching for another glass of champagne, “what is it?”

“That it should’ve been you.”

You stared at the cup, choosing not to answer.

“I know you’re thinking that because... I’m thinking that to.”

You let out a bitter laugh and twirled the glass around.

“Look at us, a bunch of lovesick fools.”

Silence again.

“What does he have that I don’t?”

“Pardon?”

“Why did she choose him? What is it that I don’t have?”

“Well for one... a dick,” Tadashi answered honestly, you shot him a glare.

“Other then that... I don’t know... I wonder what she has that I don’t...”

“Tits.”

He snorted before grabbing a glass of champagne for himself.

“I propose a toast.”

“To what exactly?”

“To not having tits,” he raised his glass, his eyes a little teary, “to being extremely gay for an apparently straight man.”

You raised your cup and clinked it with his,

“To not having a dick. And to being a lesbian that fell in love with the girl that married said straight man.”

You both drank.

“Let’s get outta here... I can’t take it anymore,” you said. Tadashi nodded.

“Yeah... Let’s go home.”
