Hello, everyone!
It took me a while to get everything set up, but I have finally created a My Anime List (MAL) account! For anyone who does not know, MAL is a website/platform where people can share what anime's they've watched, are watching, dropped, and planned to watch, including what they have rated what they have watched. I will more than likely only do thorough reviews with anime's that I either really liked or disliked, but on there you can see everything I have watched. Plus, if there is a lot of requests for any certain anime I've completed, I can happy do a review of it. This won't be too big a surprise, but my account name on there is Lotus_Reviewer. As always have a great day and feel free to leave your thoughts and feelings!

Name: Yuukoku no Moriarty 2nd Season
Rating: ⭐8/10⭐
Rate: R
Genre: Mystery, psychological, thriller, historical, and shounen
The cat and mouse game of Moriarty the “Lord of Crime” and brilliant detective Sherlock has officially begun. Picking up immediately after season one, Moriarty is already planning his next move when a new element reveals herself to both her and Sherlock, Irene Adler. With sensitive information that can supposedly bring about a revolution against the English government, what lengths will these two go to in order to protect her or secure the information? There are certainly many more concepts that occur throughout the second season but I thought this would be a nice tidbit to start off with as a summary. If you scroll through my other posts, you will see that I reviewed the first season as well as this one and gave it a 9/10. It’s not necessarily that this season was worse than the previous season. It’s just that it’s pretty different from the route I assumed they would go down. This season seems to get right down into the fundamentals of how Moriarty plans to better England on a grand scale instead of doing small stories centering around rich individuals as they did in season one. I really enjoyed the way that the writers took history itself in their hands and decided to shape it however they wanted. They really had fun with this and took creative liberties that I actually quite enjoyed, especially when it came with the Irene Adler character. They understand who Moriarty, Sherlock, and Watson are as characters and run with it, accepting their characters for all of their virtues and flaws. This is another concept that I very much enjoyed. The artstyle was also just as clean and effective as the first season, which can sometimes be a concern if they will keep it the same or not. Sadly, however, there are two main things that made me bring its ranking down. First was a twist they decided to do after introducing a sort of third person trying to come between Moriarty and Sherlock, specifically how the conflict was resolved. Without giving much more information away, I just didn’t see it reasonably ending the way it did. And secondly had to do with the ending of the series itself. Again, without giving away much, I just thought the ending didn’t really fit with the characters themselves throughout the series. The actions that they took or did not take just didn’t really add up. While I did compliment the way the writers incorporated the characters, these are the only two instances where I have to take back my words. But while not being absolutely great, these parts do not do enough damage to completely tank the anime as a whole. It still stands out and presents itself as a methodical and psychological thriller of an anime. If you are a fan of Sherlock, then I would certainly recommend this series. As always feel free to leave your thoughts and feelings and have a great day!

Unpopular Opinions
Demon Slayer is kinda overrated
Tumblr media
So I’ll probably get some hate for this post but I thought it’d be fun to get my opinion out there anyway. As a disclaimer, I have only watched the first season and not the movie, plus there will more than likely be slight spoilers so you have been warned. I’m not saying this was a terrible anime or anything like that but I just didn’t really like it, which was disappointing because of all the hype around it. So many people had hyped it up as being the best anime of all time and it just wasn’t. It’s not even the best in shounen, in my opinion. And this just surprised me even more when I saw how much the sales for the manga increased when the first season was released. It became so popular that a movie was released not long after. And I can’t help but sit over here and wonder why? The artstyle is pretty good, I will admit that. It’s clean most of the time and executed well. The plot is alright, sort of on the generic side though. I understand the sort of drama and motivation they tried to create with having the main character’s sister becoming a demon and the last member of his family, but something about the whole thing just didn’t really hit its mark. And with that, with the main reason for everything happening to make the sort of impact it's supposed to, it just leaves everything else sort of lacking. I mean, the first ever demon comes to a cabin in the middle of a snowy mountain and slaughters everyone except for one little girl? It can kinda make sense if he knew the main character wasn’t there and wanted her to take care of him, but really? It just seems sorta lazy and a weird plot point not to strengthen and reinforce. And apparently the existence of demons isn’t a more common thing to know? It took one old man in a cabin on the same mountain to tell Tanjiro about their existence for him to know about them? I can understand if they’re more well regarded as legends or ghost stories, but for him to have never heard of their existence his whole life? The characters themselves just didn’t get me interested either. All of them were kinda annoying to me, except for Hashibira upon first meeting them but then they became kinda annoying because they only screamed and talked about fighting. The only character who didn’t annoy me was Nezuko and she never even really talked throughout the series. Plus if it wasn’t for her, Tanjiro would’ve died who knows how many times and the series would be done. Like I said at the beginning, I’m not trying to drag it through the mud or call it terrible, but it just wasn’t that good to me. All in all, I gave it a rating of 4/10.

Name: Subarashiki Kono Sekai The Animation
Rating: ⭐6/10⭐
Rate: PG-13
Genre: Action and adventure
A boy who cannot remember his past named Neku Sakuraba wakes up in the center of bustling Shibuya, finding two black pins in his pocket. He quickly finds out that he is participating in the “Reaper’s Game”, a mysterious event that lasts for seven days, a different mission per day. The pins not only recognize him as a “Player” but allows him to see “Noise”, hostile creatures that can erase those playing. Recognizing his situation, will Neku be able to not only survive the Noise but be able to trust other Players around him? This was an alright anime, in all honesty. The most unique and interesting element of this anime was the artstyle. I was informed before watching that this was an adaptation of a video game, and it certainly shows through the artstyle, especially when it comes to Noise. My first thoughts on seeing the first few scenes were that they could easily belong to cutscenes from a video game. But I’m sad to say that everything else was just sort of mild. The story was interesting enough but the actual finer details of the plot is where it fell flat. The actual rules of the Reaper’s Game as well as the inner-workings of the group of Reaper’s themselves just didn’t really flow. If they had taken a step to be a bit more clear and paced it better, then it would have been a lot better in the long run. The characters were decent enough, I suppose. I certainly had my favorites but there was no real growth or development throughout the series. While that is not exactly fundamental for a series, it can be something nice to add when there’s not a lot else going for it. There were a few twists throughout the story, one of which I genuinely didn’t see coming, but they didn’t have the sort of effect they would’ve if the characters had been portrayed in a slightly different manner, whether it be personality itself or simply something they could have said or done. The fight scenes were also pretty bland. There was no buildup, no suspense when the characters were fighting. It just seemed like they were trying to get past the scene as fast as they could. All in all, as I said in the beginning, this was an alright anime. It was certainly better than many others during this season but that’s also not saying much in comparison. I’m a bit sad to say that I think this was just made to do what a lot of recent anime’s have done, to promote the original source, in this case the video game series. It hasn’t been too long since a new game of this series was released, at least on Playstation. As always, feel free to leave your thoughts and feelings and have a great day!

The Worst of Spring 2021
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So this is pretty different than what I've done in the past. Usually I make a whole list and categorize the anime's in the season in such ways as "Top Anime", "Dark Horse", "Most Dissapointing", and so on. But because I was away for a bit at the end of last season and beginning of this season, I thought it'd be better to do something like this. Spring 2021 was a pretty rough time for anime, in my opinion. There were a few gems, two of which I've already reviewed, but other than them, everything else was either not that memorable or simply not good.
□ SSSS.Dynazenon
□ Seijo no Maryoku wa Bannou Desu
□ Slime Taoshite 300-nen, Shiranai Uchi ni Level Max ni Nattemashita
□ Sentouin, Hakenshimasu!
□ Koi to Yobu ni wa Kimochi Warui
□ Kyuukyoku Shinka shita Full Dive RPG ga Genjitsu yori mo Kusoge Dattara
□ Osananajimi ga Zettai ni Makenai Love Comedy
The list above corresponds directly with the order of posters at the top of the post and show the sort of ranking between all of the anime's. SSSS.Dynazenon was the highest ranking anime with a rating of 5/10. On the other hand, Osananajimi ga Zettai ni Makenai Love Comedy was the lowest ranking and worst anime of the entire season with a rating of 2/10. And clearly, that leaves everything else just stuck in between.
Please feel free to leave your thoughts and feelings and let me know if you want me to actually go through a more thorough review and I will happily oblige. Have a great day!

Name: Vivy: Fluorite Eye’s Song
Rating: ⭐10/10⭐
Rate: R
Genre: Music, sci-fi, and action
Trigger Warning: Gore and self-harm/suicide
Vivy is the first autonomous android in a future where androids have become a common part in everyday life. Her mission in life? To spread happiness to everyone through her singing. But what happens when she receives another mission from a century in the future? What happens when every decision she makes or doesn’t make shape the very future she’s fighting for? There is so much I want to say about this anime but at the same time I don’t want to give away too much about the actual story. This was with no doubt the dark horse of Spring 2021. I heard maybe two or three people talking about it and it’s such a shame because of how much of a hidden gem this is. I was a bit thrown off, not gonna lie, by the music tag because I personally dont watch a lot of anime’s where music is a fundamental part of the storytelling. However I am so glad that I made an exception for Vivy. The music that is sung throughout the story is beautiful and breathtaking. It’s not something that is simply added and then forgotten about. The music and singing is tightly woven throughout the series, becoming better and more enjoyable than the previous moment. Not only does it help drive the story as a whole, it drives the action and emotion that is also constant throughout the anime. The action scenes are done with such beauty and fluidity that I can’t help but get pumped up. Speaking of which, the artstyle that they did is one of the best that I have seen in a very long time. The sheer clearness and obvious effort put into it just makes the experience of Vivy even more enjoyable. I hate to sound like I’m rambling but in my humble opinion, this is the sort of pedestal of what a 10/10 anime should be. I also feel that I should mention how interesting the subplot of how technology has become such an important part of our society is. When has technology gone too far? Is it technology's fault or the fault of humanity that created it in the first place? While Vivy does not necessarily dive fully into such topics, they are present and left to the viewer to ponder on their own if they so choose. In summary, this was tied in my mind for the number one spot of Spring 2021 for very different reasons. It was so masterfully done and one that I will not only not be forgetting for a very long time, but one that I will certainly rewatch in the near future. As always feel free to leave your thoughts and feelings and have a great day!

Dropped Anime of Summer 2021
Kanojo mo Kanojo
Tumblr media
So for anyone who has been following this account for a while, you know that I'm a pretty good fan of romance anime, especially those that have some sort of interesting twist. As such, I thought the plot of this, in which the main guy character wants to date two girls at the same time, could be good. Unfortunately, it was just executed so poorly. This anime tries so hard to make jokes that are not funny and do not land. The characters are not interesting in the slightest and just plain boring, especially the main guy who is portrayed as overly serious. They also do a lot of similar attributes as an anime that I thoroughly enjoyed, Aho Girl, which made their flaws that much more obvious. I gave it three episodes to get better and it just seemed to get even worse.
Cheat Kusushi no Slow Life: Isekai ni Tsukurou Drugstore
Tumblr media
I'm sure as many regular anime watchers have noticed, the genre of isekai has been on the rise, especially because of such overwhelming successes as Overlord, Konosuba, and many others. But because of this, there often come to be many moments where it seems studios create an isekai just because they think it will earn a lot of money. One of these examples can be found right here, where someone was reincarnated and decided to make a drug store in a fantasy world. I know it may be harsh, but to be completely honest, I couldn’t get through the first episode. It was just so bland! The characters are not well-developed or thought-out in the slightest. They have the most basic of personalities. The artstyle is light and colorful, but even that just fuels to the blandness of the anime. There's nothing wrong with casual anime such as this if that's what you're looking for, but I just couldn't go through with it.
Megami-ryou no Ryoubo-kun
Tumblr media
I'm not entirely sure what was running through my mind when I read the plot to this, but actually watching the first episode was so much wilder than I expected. I'm not a stranger to ecchi anime, of course, but the age of the main character (12) is just a big hurdle I can't get over. This is basically Shotacon the Anime. I know that sort of thing is a hit for some people, but I'm just not really in that group.
As always, feel free to leave your thoughts and feelings and have a great day!!!

Name: Hige wo Soru. Soshite Joshikousei wo Hirou.
Rating: ⭐9/10⭐
Rate: TV-14
Genre: Drama and Romance
Trigger Warning: Sexual situations, slight nudity, and self-harm/suicide
Salaryman Yoshida finally gets the courage to confess his feelings for his longtime crush and boss. But he was rejected. After drowning his sorrows at a bar with a friend and coworker, he stumbles home and on the way finds highschool girl Sayu Ogiwara sleeping underneath a streetlight. She asks to stay the night which Yoshida, in his drunken judgement, decides to agree to. However when they get to his apartment and she tries to sleep with him, he declines and instead asks her to make miso soup. The morning after, after clearing everything up and learning she is a runaway, how will this turn out? I didn’t mean to give so much in the summary but I felt that a lot of the information was needed to understand the scope of what this anime was about. After watching the first episode, I was very intrigued where they would try to go with this story. And to be honest, I thought the title of this anime caught my eye because of how seemingly random it was, roughly translating to “I Shaved. Then I Brought a High School Girl Home.” A grown man living with a underage highschool girl. As strange and morally negative of a plot this appears to be, it was actually extremely well done. The character’s themselves as well as their development throughout the series is truly something to behold. The emotions that this series provoked was very genuine and well brought out. It goes through a lot of self-awareness, such as characters understanding the sort of thin line they are currently walking when it comes to something that is lawfully right versus morally right. As far as the animation and art style goes, it was pretty good. Very clean and nothing to complain about but also nothing really worthwhile at the same time. This was definitely my third favorite anime of the previous season, as noted in the scores. While watching the ending, I truly wanted something to hit me and convince me that this deserved to be ranked 10/10, but sadly that just didn’t happen. The plot is incredible and well throughout and executed. The characters were unique and not bland or had surface-level personalities. The emotional moments that made this into a drama were there and provoked feelings from me. And yet there just still seemed to be something missing, something to turn this from great and amazing to one of a kind. As much as I hate to say it, I think it revolves around the very reason why Sayu ran away. Something about the way the characters reacted both physically and emotionally didn’t really sit well with me. But regardless, this was still truly an amazing anime and one that was far better than many I watched that season. As always, feel free to leave your thoughts and feelings and have a great day!

Peach Boy Riverside Info
Tumblr media
Hello, everyone!
I know that this anime has already released four episodes, but I thought it might be helpful to give some clarification on the story that is slightly brought up every now and then that makes this premise what it is. So in Japanese folklore, there is a story called Momotaro where a boy is born from a giant peach an old woman found while cleaning clothes at the river and brought the peach back home to show her husband. After the child is born, he decides to journey to Demon Island to fight demons (or ogres as the anime subtitles say) with the help of a dog, pheasant, and monkey. So far, only a dog has been shown accompanying Mikoto in the anime but that may change in the future. It seems that this is a sort of continuation from where the original story left off which makes this so much more interesting to me. As always have a great day and feel free to leave your thoughts and feelings!

So I just finished watching the first two episodes of Heion Sedai no Idaten-tachi and all I can say is, wow. It actually isn't entirely what I expected. There's action, of course, with a good amount of gore but done in a way that no one is really affected by it. I can definitely see a philosophical element being apparent because of what one the deities said about their role in protecting humans. That sort of deeper meaning in plot as well as general art style and use of unorthodox color when it comes to background and characters themselves point to this being really good, in my opinion. Consider this a trigger warning, though, because there is one scene that depicts rape, not in a very detailed fashion but you certainly know what's happening/happened. When I tell you that that surprised me, it's an understatement because of how it literally just came out of nowhere. Because another theme of this anime seems to be about showing the cruelty of mankind, I am a bit afraid that similar scenes will appear throughout the series. In any case, this is one anime this season I will certainly keep my eye on.

Hey, everyone! I wanted to apologize for being inactive for quite a while. At the beginning of the summer, a family member had a major surgery and I had to look after them for some time. More recently, I had to help another family member move into another house. With that still going on as well as having to start my next semester of college here in a few weeks, I still may not be as active as I used to be but I certainly will start making posts here soon. I hope you all have enjoyed your summer break!

Name: Tatoeba Last Dungeon Mae no Mura no Shounen ga Joban no Machi de Kurasu Youna Monogatari
Rating: ⭐4/10⭐
Rate: PG-13
Genre: Adventure, fantasy, comedy, and romance
Lloyd Belladonna is a naive boy who's dream of becoming a knight and serving his king and country are about to come true as he moves to the capital. But for someone who grew up in a town that is supposed to be a myth due to the sheer strength each resident has, you would think he'd be confident in himself and his abilities but that's not the case! This is the story of a overpowered but low self-esteemed boy trying to fulfill his dream. Alright, so I should start off with saying that I was severely dissapointed with this anime. I like the premise of having an OP main character who doesn't think they're anything special. But there just needs to be a line drawn between common sense and naive. I understand how someone's perspective of the world and monsters would be warped from growing up someone as dangerous as the main character but still. If people are freaking out about things, it's pretty easy to put two and two together. So with that, the main character's fatal flaw that they decided to give him on a major scale, the plot just sort of fell through, especially when it came to the ending, which was just downright horrible. Another thing that just didn't sit right with me was the romance that they tried to intwine in this anime. They literally have so many women, a couple of them a lot older than him, lusting over such a young, immature, and naive boy. I'm a big fan of romance in anime but any time a moment such as that came up, it was just uncomfortable to watch. For the most part, I liked the other characters. They had decent goals and ambitions but the reasoning behind their decision making wasn't always the most understandable. The design was slightly simplistic but it was kind of nice to see something slightly original. As far as the comedy aspects, it was alright. Nothing had me crying laughing but I would chuckle every now and then throughout the episodes so there's that. All in all, like so many of this past season, this anime was just kind of meh. As always have a great day and feel free to leave your thoughts and feelings!

Name: Project Scard: Praeter no Kizu
Rating: ⭐4/10⭐
Rate: PG-13
Genre: Action and super power
The appearance of the "Scard", people with tattoos that grant them superhuman abilities, forces Japan to split and create a new district that they control lawlessly. Many factions try to take control, one of them belonging to the "Hero" Arishiba Eiji. But when the unthinkable happens, who will have to step up for what's right? So to start off, I just didn't really like this anime. In theory, it should have worked, but there were so many things that didn't  come together that it ended up all falling through. The artstyle itself was pretty cool. It had a K kind of feel to it which I enjoyed for the most part. But then when it came to the realistic style they tried to do with buildings and inside of rooms, it was pretty bad. The characters were alright. The designs were unique, but the characteristics and choices that they made was just bad, to say the least. The main character is so desperate to become a hero and live up to being someone he respects that he makes so many ridiculous choices. One of the main things they look at is brotherly love but then they practically have the brother put in a pretty serious situation and forget about him. The actual fighting scenes gave me a headache because of how seemingly rough and unfished they were. It would be cutting to so many different angles that it would be slightly disorienting. And there would be dialogue but the character's mouths would never open once, which is sort of a pet peeve of mine, I suppose. There were two major twists that were painstakingly obvious and cliché, which is really sad to see. All in all, it was pretty good. Looking back on it now, it probably deserved a lower score, but it saved itself, in a way, for its artstyle and some of the abilities of the characters. As always have a great day and feel free to leave your thoughts and feelings!

Rate: PG-13
Genre: Supernatural, comedy, and psychological
Trigger Warning: Slight gore, kidnapping, and brief sexual harassment
The phenomenon of “mysterious diseases” is one that appears in those who suffer in one way or another. While not able to be treated with modern medicine, there is one doctor who has dedicated his practice to helping those overcome their ailments; Ramune! Like many anime’s of last season, this just kind of got placed in the “meh” pile. It wasn’t terrible but it also wasn’t all that great. The plot is pretty good in its own right but almost immediately I thought of an anime that has basically the same theme but did so much better, xxxHOLIC. The cases worked within this anime were also done in a pretty good way. They were very emotional and insightful because of the way they focused on how people felt and acted during certain circumstances. But all in all, it just didn’t really vibe with me. The main characters were kind of boring and didn’t really show any sort of underlying personality or character development throughout the series. I was also kind of disappointed in some of the routes this anime took plot-wise because there were definitely a few times where it could’ve ended up being so much better than it was. It also does a weird way of trying to show a healthy and trusting bond between the doctor and his younger apprentice but they are truly walking a thin line because sometimes the things they do or say are a bit suspicious, I’m just gonna say it. But another thing in its favor was the opening, which was one of the best of the season. All in all, not too bad but not too good. For any who ended up really enjoying this, I highly recommend xxxHOLIC. As always have a great day and feel free to leave your thoughts and feelings!

"S" is an illegal underground skateboard race located in an abandoned mine where skaters compete in highly dangerous surroundings. Highschooler Reki Kyan finds himself helping out Langa Hasegawa, a new transfer student, when they find themselves in a tough situation. So first off, I'm not too much of a sports fan. It's just not really my thing. But even while saying that, I actually ended up enjoying this anime. While it was about skateboarding, it was really interesting to learn about some of the aspects of it. While the animation may not have been top tier, the design of characters was a plus. I do have to say, however, the main bad guy was someone I couldn't really take seriously. He reminded me too much of a weird mix of Dio from Jojo and Hisoka from Hunter x Hunter. And the actual personality of Hisoka, in which an adult was lusting after a high school guy, was something I don't enjoy seeing or watching. The plot and story in itself also wasn’t all that bad. There were a couple of points, however, that I think could've been done better or gone further into, especially when it came to psychological or emotional problems that two of the main characters ended up going through. By the end, it just seemed like nothing was really fixed. They simply smiled and said everything was fine, leaving it at that. As far as comedy goes, there were a few moments where it made me laugh but not as much as I thought it could. The opening and closing were both actually really good and songs that I ended up listening to almost every episode, something that rarely ends up happening. Overall, this was a pretty good anime. If you're looking for something kind of relaxing but informational to watch, then I would suggest giving this a shot. As always have a great day and feel free to leave your thoughts and feelings!

Name: Urasekai Picnic
Rating: ⭐5/10⭐
Rate: PG-13
Genre: Sci-Fi, adventure, mystery, and shoujo ai
Sarao Kamikoshi and Toriko Nishina end up crossing paths with one another in the “Otherworld”, a mysterious and dangerous realm that they can go to by passing through portals, whether intentional or not, hidden within the real world. As they attempt to learn and make sense of this strange new realm, friendship begins to bloom. First and foremost, let me see that this anime was alright. Was it the best? No. But was it the worst? Also no. This is like many in which it simply fell into that little gray area of being about 50/50. That actually sums up a lot of the aspects, now that I think about it. The animation was done very well for the most part, except when there were awkward moments in which it showed the characters far away and in a CGI style. Some of the monsters they created, however, especially in the later episodes, were done really well. The plot itself also wasn’t all that bad. Also, count this as a warning that it can be beneficial to have some understanding of Japanese folklore because they are vital to the plot of many episodes. Sometimes they give very brief explanations of the myth, but oftentimes you are simply thrown in, which I didn’t really appreciate all that much. The characters themselves were also just alright. The characteristics themselves had a lot left to be desired. It appeared that they would attempt to do something with strong human emotions, such as sorrow, envy, and jealousy, but it seemed to never really happen. A character would be moody or melancholy to another for half of the episode and then all of a sudden it was as though they simply snapped out of it. The special abilities, while interesting, just simply weren’t as explained and learned about as they should have been. This was just another aspect in which a lot was left to be desired. But like I said at the beginning, this was an alright anime. I’m sure there are many people with knowledge in Japanese folklore and myth and thoroughly enjoyed this. I’m sure there will be people in the future who find this and enjoy it. Sad to say that I just wasn’t one of those people. As always, have a great day and feel free to leave your thoughts and feelings!

Name: Hanyou no Yashahime: Sengoku Otogizoushi

Genre: Action, adventure, historical, comedy, demons, and supernatural
The young twin half-daughters of Sesshoumaru, Towa and Setsuna, live happily together in a forest in Feudal Japan. But when a twist of fate forces Towa to travel forward to modern-day Japan, their days of peace have all but vanished. I wanted to keep the summary short and to the point because I have a lot to say about this series. Also, as a disclaimer, there will be a fair amount of spoilers in this review. So as many people were excited to learn, this was a sort of sequel to an anime that had been a major part of many people’s childhoods, Inuyasha. And so, me being one of these people, I was expecting a really wonderful story, especially when I learned that it featured not only Sesshoumaru’s daughters but Inuyasha and Kagome’s daughter as well. But man, was this just such a letdown. First of all, having Rin, the child that was hanging around Sesshoumaru in Inuyasha, being the mother? That was a pretty questionable decision and a route that did not have to be taken. Even with this being in the future where, I hope, Rin is an adult, that doesn’t make it right. That should have been left as a father and daughter sort of relationship. As for the characters themselves, they were bland, to say the least. They had twenty-four episodes to do any sort of character development and it just didn’t happen. Another thing, one of the major plot points is getting Setsuna her memories back so that she knows who Towa is which involves finding the Dream Butterfly. This just made it all the more confusing to me that they hardly ever legitimately went out to try and find it. There were maybe four episodes that I can think of where they went out to find it, and that may be a generous guess. I think this anime really just tried too hard to be like Inuyasha instead of adapting and becoming its own sort of thing. It’s the same issue with many sequels, such as Boruto is to Naruto. To be completely honest, if not for the slight feelings of nostalgia, this would have been rated lower. As always, have a great day and feel free to leave your thoughts and comments!
