I think everyone has favorite lost or overlooked characters in comics and Chris Kent is one of mine. I've always had this vision in my head of Chris being Clark's son along side Jon and being maybe the more shy one. This idea of Dick taking Chris on as a sidekick and them being Nightwing together has always been banging around my head.

Thanks so much to @lostintrace for making this idea an reality and making them look like a real comic book cover and a comic I'd love to read myself

I wanted to share with the Tumblr some art for a totally orginal idea I have…

It's a book I'm writing with the help of my friend Max, The Great and Powerful! (The incomparable @batboyblog :P )

Ari and Christian are two queer boys going to the same high school but they could not be more different. Soccer star Christian Rivera’s trans coming out is the inspirational story everyone wants to hashtag. Ari would come out as gay to his classmates, if any of them wanted to talk to him. Christian is the one of the most popular kids in school, who's even been on the local news. Ari still can't get teachers to say his name right. 

Ari is madly in love with Christian, Christian doesn't know Ari is even alive.

It all turns around when Christian asks Ari for an odd favor, can Ari write a love letter to a girl, Jennie, for him? And thats when things start to take some interesting turns. Can Ari really write love letters for his crush and not end up breaking his own heart?

it's a romcom that explores identity, culture and how you never really know someones story from the outside, as well as the limits of acceptance even in seemingly LGBT affirming spaces
