Love At First Sight: Derek Hale

it was your first full moon since the bite. you already knew about werewolves, so you knew what to expect. you went into the woods were you would be safe and so that you couldn’t attack any of your friends. Derek was also in the woods that night. something was telling him to go into the woods, something unexplainable. as he got deeper into the woods, he saw you sitting on a fallen tree trunk. when he got closer, he immediately knew that you were a werewolf. “what are you doing?” he asked with a sense of irritation in his voice. as you met his eyes, you were filled with a feelings you haven’t felt before. at the time, you didn’t know that he was feeling the same way. “i didn’t want to hurt anyone. it’s my first full moon.” you said innocently moving your head down to look at your feet. “find an anchor,” he said “someone or something you care about to help you stay human.” when he said this, you felt a strong urge to make him your anchor. Derek stayed with you the rest of the night and helped you relax when you eventually shifted. it was in that moment when you had fallen in love with Derek. the next day, he had taken you to meet the rest of the pack. you got along with all of the members quickly and they took you under their wing and helped you understand what was happening. the more time Derek spent with you, the more he realized how hard he had fallen for you. Derek always made sure you were okay and became very protective over you. at first you didn’t realize it but the more you were together the more you saw the change. Derek became so protective that he scared away any guy that talked to you that wasn’t Scott or Stiles. you had finally had enough of it and decided to figure out what he was doing. you knocked on the door to his loft and as soon as he opened, you walked right in without saying a word. “well hello to you too.” Derek said sarcastically. “what are you doing?” you finally asked him. “what do you mean? i just said hello” he replied. “your scaring away all the guy who talk to me. why?” you said irritated. Derek sighed. he knew this was going to come up sooner or later. “you really don’t know do you?” “if i knew i wouldn’t be asking.” you said. “i love you.” Derek confessed as he walked closer to you. you stood there with a shocked expression. secretly you had been waiting for him to confess but you didn’t think it would happen so soon. “i love you too.” you said closing the gap between you two. without hesitation, Derek leaned in and kissed you. he wrapped his hands around your waist and pulled you into a hug.

I’ve seen a lot of posts on my dash tonight about users who are threatening suicide, with other Tumblr members posting in effort to try to get ahold of them. I think you all should see this:

IF THERE IS EVER A TUMBLR USER WHO HAS POSTED A GOOD-BYE MESSAGE, SUICIDE NOTE, VIDEO, OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT, PLEASE FOLLOW THIS POST.

1. Scroll to the top of your dashboard.

2. See the circular question mark icon at the top? It’s the third one over from your home symbol. Click on that, and a screen similar to the one in the picture will come up.

3. Where you can type in questions, the box with the magnifying glass at the top, type in the word “suicide.”

4. Click on the first link that shows up. It should say, “Pass the URL of the blog on to us.”

5. Type in the user’s URL and tell Tumblr admin that the user is contemplating suicide and has posted a message indicating that they are going through with it or will be attempting. Hit send! Tumblr administration will perform a number of actions to contact the user and take the necessary steps to prevent the suicide.

TUMBLR: THIS COULD SAVE A USER’S LIFE. PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE SUICIDE THREATS.

Reblog this to keep other users aware. Suicide isn’t a joke, and neither is someone’s life. If you didn’t know this, someone else may not, either. Pass it on.
