so... how do I learn about the Israeli–Palestinian conflict, cause people have been saying shit and I don't know where to start. is there a book or something. which sources are trustworthy

This is a good question, and there are definitely people better equipped to answer it than me, but here are a couple things I found useful:

Decolonize Palestine has a great primer on Palestinian history, which I would read first to understand the historical context, and then check out this article on why the two-state solution (which i think seems reasonable to people uneducated on the issue) hasn't worked.

If you're a visual learner, here's a collection of maps throughout the conflict, which ought to help you understand how territory has shifted as Israel has progressively annexed more land.

And finally, I think this article on Hamas's origin is instructive for people in the west bombarded with propaganda that always seems to carefully avoid the topic.

You are aware Israeli are indigenous to that land (you call Palestine), they have lived in Levant for thousands of years.

“Israeli” only exist as of the past 70 years. You mean Jews, yes? I’m aware. The three main religions of the world come from that exact same land. This means Christians, Muslims and Jews are all native to it.

I’m not arguing that Jewish people have no right to live there. What I am arguing against is a country that was created by England (so British people, mind you) on a territory that wasn’t theirs to give. And the extreme colonization, violence and straight up attempts to eradicate an ethnic group that has just as much right to be there as them.
