Hearts are made to be broken. Broken into pieces. We won't like it, we'll regret it all, we'll go from place to place to mend it. But the heart can never be healed. We learn to live with it. Suffering becomes inevitable. We use violence, we abuse, we cry. But the second we learn to be okay with heartbreak, love seems to be the only coping mechanism. The only living mechanism. We give ourselves a second chance at it. We are afraid of it but can't deny its presence. We aren't excited this time, the heart is at peace. We are scared to give it all but yet we give. The world becomes beautiful again. But alas, hearts are made to be broken. 💔

the seventh prince

a naive princess had met a thousand princes

but she always desired a king.

the first prince gave her the sea

blue bliss where she could flee

the second prince gave her the sky

an infinite span of pretty white lies

the third prince gave her all land

for her dauntless self to command

the fourth prince gave her the moon

its light to bring her eternal bloom

the fifth prince gave her the sun

the key on which her universe spun

the sixth prince gave her all stars

jewels to illuminate her dull hours

the seventh prince offered her every whit of his time

so he could listen to every one of her melodious chimes

she chose the seventh prince

her real desire now truly quenched

why not selecting the other men

the queen inquired the reason of her choice

those gifts were never theirs to lend

the next moment, replied a mature voice.

Watching aeroplanes fly

Letting raindrops fall on palms

Reading one's favourite books

Beautiful weather

Spending time with family

Going for early morning walks

Freshly made bed

Going outdoor with friends

Cooking something delicious

Surrounding by trees and flowers
