HELP PARTNER ESCAPE CALI
So our partner @glitchyartist is in a really dire circumstance right now. Her parents are conservative christans, her father being a preacher at their church. And her father is rapidly getting worse and we are extremely concerned that he will hurt her if he finds out that not only is she bi but has had a secret girlfriend for almost two years now.
She needs funds for a small moving truck or van which minimum is $965 dollars as well as the gas needed to get up here and the boxes. Care for her two cats, who need to be spayed and neutered but sadly one of them is pregnant so that one needs to wait.
And ontop of everything she needs to get her transmitter fixed, which is, around $3,500-$4,000 and since her parents, if they pay for it themselves, won't let her leave until she pays them back $3,000 of it she's stuck.
Overall she needs around $5,500 to get out and up here and she is taking commissions from people who donate to her fund and for us if you commission from us, it will also go to her fund.
Crocheted Giant Heart Pillows - $200
Crocheted Medium Heart Pillows - $80
Crocheted Regular Heart Pillows - $60
Crocheted Roses - $15 dollars a piece or a bouquet of 12 for $140
Crocheted Heart Coasters - $5 for 1 or $15 for four
Please. Every bit helps and you are not required to commission either of us nor donate but at least share so those who can and/or might want to. More links will be added with stuff to access.
And since fundly is being a jerk and wont let people donate regularly here is her
paypal
And her gofundme

my dream as a fanfic writer is to write a story which people want to talk to me about and send asks about afterwards and discuss things the characters did and the symbolism and meanings behind certain lines and I'll be all "hehe thanks" but irl I'll be in literal tears because I wrote something that means something to someone

Evangeline
Chase gets his wife and kids back for valentines day! Happy Chase week ya'll!
-
He's running, he doesn't know where, there are corpses everywhere and the air is thick with the smell of panic and blood and ozone. He doesn’t know what that thing was or how it knows his name (He knows, fuck he knows but he doesn’t want to). Fuck he wishes he had his gun.
Chase barely gains enough traction to stop himself from slipping on blood and hitting a wall, only bumping into it with his shoulder when a familiar song, deep in memories he simultaneously wants to forget and never let go of fills the air.
“That someone as beautiful as he~” It feels like the voice is drawing him in, it feels like nice warm soup after a cold day outside and couch cuddles while the kids are in bed. Like a nice warm summer day gardening next to the person you love.
Like listening to your wife sing as you slow dance in the kitchen after a nightmare of red hallways.
He doesn’t realize he’s begun stumbling towards the source until he feels his own tears in his beard snapping him back to what's going on.
A part of him wants to turn around and run away, the last he saw of any of them were their bloody corpses in the twins room. Whatever could be drawing him in can’t be good but… her voice… It's been so long since he’s heard it.
“Could love someone like me
Love always finds a way it's true!”
He doesn’t know how many twists and turns he takes, but he starts to run into flowers, roses growing into the bodies on the… everything of the building, and yet they seem to part for him.
“And I love you, Evangeline…”
The voice is mournful and he wants nothing more than to wipe it away and tell her he’s still here.
“I’m still here-” He chokes out as he lets his body guide him through the thicket of white roses, seeming to part but gently cling to him, yet weary of their own thorns.
“Ooh, love is beautiful
Love is wonderful!”
Her voice no longer feels like an echo, the closer he gets, he can hear her. But, where is she?
Where are they? His family where are they?
“Love is everything, do you agree?”
He does, he very much does. He just, can’t remember the last time he’s felt loved. Everything feels so long ago…
“Mais oui!”
Chase feels his breath hitch, the voice is echoing through the halls now properly echoing through the halls.
“Look how he lights up the sky~”
Chase stumbles, he’s so close. The thicket seems to be clearing towards him from around the corner now instead of around him. It feels like his heart's about to pop out of his chest.
A part of his mind tells him he’s crazy for hoping, that whatever is coming around the corner will kill him as soon as it sees him. But he can’t help, please be her. At least let one of his family members defy reality and still be alive.
His heart jumps to his throat when he sees her come around the corner. It’s not the her he remembers. But it’s so clearly, vividly her. And she’s singing.
“And I love you, Evangeline…” Her voice trails off when she sees him. Her now spacey eyes blossoming with pink and orange and more pink as the roses around him seem to change color, and he’s so distracted by his own joy at seeing his wife again he doesn’t notice the smaller figures hiding behind her.
Chase’s heart jumps to his throat as she speaks, he never thought he’d ever get to hear it again, it’s soft and breathy with disbelief.
“Chase?”

“No one wants to look at art of OCs” I don’t think that’s true at all…I follow people specifically to see their OCs literally all the time. Bring back being curious about people’s OCs, asking questions about them and hyping them up like we did when we were teens

I should be working on one of our other stories but i'm chewing on this https://icedroastedblend.tumblr.com/post/741228088920342528/a-lycan-and-a-vampire-meet-for-the-first-time so fucking hard and Had to write something inspired by that it's currently 1:40 in the morning but i'm proud -ChaseSM
Mark quickly scrambles back from the Alpha(?) in front of him in the snow covered forest floor, wincing as the spot on his shoulder throbs. "Jus-Just Listen."
He looks up at the man with brown and silver haired man, whose looking down at him with a mistrustful but hard gaze.
"Please…?"
The man is silent before speaking up in a deep German accent. "Speak."
Mark feels eternally grateful he didn't just get his ass kicked to Timbuktu.
"I- I got kicked out of my pack a few days ago, and I didn't know where I was going and the next thing I know I'm running into you." He gets out as quickly as possible.
The man remains unmoving, Mark doesn't even think he blinks.
"Why."
Mark stares at the man, confused. "Huh?"
"Why were you kicked out from your pack." Oh.
"Oh- Uh, well. I'm, I uh…" Mark trails off, trying to think of the reason why, but it's just, blank, he just remembers his older brother's furious face and the rest of his friends and family doing nothing.
"I don't remember…" Mark tells him quietly, beginning to space out until the man moves.
He only tilts his head back, looking down at Mark, his- his red glowing eyes… oh fuck, Mark ran into a vampire.
And from what he's heard, a powerful one at that.
"Come with me." The vampire says shortly before turning and walking away.
"Uh?" Mark questions confused as he gets up from the snow, pulling his cardigan tight around him, shoulder throbbing as he begins to follow him.
"Where are we going?" He asks, trying to catch up even as his head spins.
"Home."

Writing tips for long fics that helped me that no one asked for.
1.) Don't actually delete content from your WIP unless it is minor editing - instead cut it and put it in a secondary document. If you're omitting paragraphs of content, dialog, a whole scene you might find a better place for it later and having it readily available can really save time. Sometimes your idea was fantastic, but it just wasn't in the right spot.
2.) Stuck with wording the action? Just write the dialog then revisit it later.
3.) Stuck on the whole scene? Skip it and write the next one.
4.) Write on literally any other color than a white background. It just works. (I use black)
5.) If you have a beta, while they are beta-ing have them read your fic out loud. Yes, I know a lot of betas/writers do not have the luxury of face-timing or have the opportunity to do this due to time constraints etc but reading your fic out loud can catch some very awkward phrasing that otherwise might be missed. If you don't have a beta, you read it out loud to yourself. Throw some passion into your dialog, you might find a better way to word it if it sounds stuffy or weird.
6.) The moment you have an idea, write it down. If you don't have paper or a pen, EMAIL it to yourself or put it in a draft etc etc. I have sent myself dozens of ideas while laying down before sleep that I 10/10 forgot the next morning but had emailed them to myself and got to implement them.
7.) Remember - hits/likes/kudos/comments are not reflective of the quality of your fic or your ability to write. Most people just don't comment - even if they say they do, they don't, even if they preach all day about commenting, they don't, even if they are a very popular blog that passionately reminds people to comment - they don't comment (I know this personally). Even if your fic brought tears to their eyes and it haunted them for weeks and they printed it out and sent it to their friends they just don't comment. You just have to accept it. That being said - comment on the fic you're reading now, just do it, if you're 'shy' and that's why you don't comment the more you comment the better you'll get at it. Just do it.
8.) Remove unrealistic daily word count goals from your routine. I've seen people stress 1500 - 2000 words a day and if they don't reach that they feel like a failure and they get discouraged. This is ridiculous. Write when you can, but remove absurd goals. My average is 500 words a day in combination with a 40 hour a week job and I have written over 200k words from 2022-2023.
9.) There are dozens of ways to do an outline from precise analytical deconstruction that goes scene by scene to the minimalist bullet point list - it doesn't matter which one you use just have some sort of direction. A partial outline is better than no outline.
10.) Write for yourself, not for others. Write the fic you know no one is going to read. Write the fic that sounds ridiculous. You will be so happy you put it out in the world and there will be people who will be glad it exists.

Count Til I Don't Know What Counts - Chapter 3: Lunch Date
Word Count: 931
A/N: we know it's spelled Marcas but no it's not it's Markus
tw: Kinda Blackmail? Idk, telling your partner you'll take care of yourself if they take care of their self kinda. Someone gets attacked at the end and mentioned of child's dismembered hand(Anti induced Hallucination)
Tumblr media
October 3rd, 2018
“You okay?”
“I’m fine Markus.” Liru sighs as she leans her cane against the table.
Markus looks a little concerned before taking a breath and nodding as he leans back in his seat before a waitress comes over with a couple glasses of water.
“I’ll be right with ya dears.” Before hurrying away.
“What about you?”
“Huh?”
“Are you okay?” Liru asks gently, looking concerned for him.
“Oh yeah, I’m fine just, haven’t been sleepin well these past few days.”
Liru Looks at him concerned, “Is it insomnia or…”
“No! No, no none of that just, boss has been an extra hard ass lately.” He tries to laugh off but Liru narrows her eyes.
“Either you tell Jackie or I will.” Short and sweet, she won't stand for one of her partners being treated like shit by a power tripping ego.
“Oh Liru c’mon-”
“Markus.” Her voice is stern but non aggressive.
Markus stops and stares at her before speaking again, “Only if you talk to one of us about the nightmares you’ve been having.”
Liru flushes deeply, embarrassed that she hadn’t been hiding them as well as she thought.
Markus sighs, “Look lets, just talk about it later. I’ll tell Jackie about Mr. Pierre later. Right now lets just enjoy ourselves hm?”
Liru relaxes considerably, she’s not, sure how to approach the subject of the nightmares contents, at least now she has some time. And Pierre’s stupid ass will be dealt with.
Before they can continue speaking the waitress comes back with a pen and a note pad. “Can I get anything started for you?”
Once everything is ordered they get back to talking.
“I know… I know it might be pointless but, Jack and… Anti’s birthday is in a week…”
Liru stiffens a bit and appears to hid behind the water she’s drinking.
“But I still wanna make something for them… you know?”
Liru relaxes considerably as she sets her glass down.
“Me too.”
Markus visibly relaxes as well.
“What were you thinkin?” He asks curiously.
“Well, for Jack I was thinking maybe a garland? And a couple of mini lightning bugs? And for… Anti, I wanted to make him another heart pillow, I found this really pretty yarn that's soft blue and green and it just, made me think of him…”
Markus hums in understanding, nodding a bit.
“What about you?” She asks, he looks confused before realizing what's she means and flushing a bit, embarrassed that he forgot. She just gives him a knowing but understanding smile.
“Oh uh, I was gonna make them hats…”
“What kind?”
“I was thinking of making a little devil horn bucket Jack hat and a frog bucket hat for Anti.”
Liru chuckles fondly her, mind a bit stuck on the idea of Jack in a devil horn hat. “He’d be bonking into people with his horns constantly.”
Markus chuckles, “Yeah…”
“Mmm, you’d think Anti would like, like frog mittens to go with the hat?” She asks quietly.
Markus hums and nod, “You know he would.” He tells her softly.
She hums a bit and instead chooses to finish her water.
Markus chuckles and finally takes a drink of his water.
“Jacques asked for an owl plushie to go with his peacock one.”
Markus grins a bit more, “That's freakin adorable.”
“Do you think like, light brown and blue will do?” She asks thoughtfully, “I wanna make it a bit like Henrik.”
“Brown?”
“I wanna say it feels almost sophisticated but that doesn’t feel right. It’s a comfy colour on him, like a nice couch.” She hums thoughtfully.
Markus chuckles at that, “Yeah, that does sound comforting.”
Markus grins widely as Liru perks up at the sight of their food coming.
They both thank the waitress before digging in.
.
“Yay, thank you!” Sammi squeals happily as Markus leaves the room, he chuckles but makes his way to the kids play room.
He hums as he collects the raggedy Anne’s in the blue dress and the one in the pink overalls for Oliva and Sammi, purple teddy bear made by Liru for Robbie and the pumpkin patchwork flamingo for Jamie.
He’s almost out of the room when he hears something drip onto the carpet, and he doesn’t know why but the dread begins to set in deep in his stomach.
He looks towards the sound, and it’s difficult to make out but he can see a dark liquid dripping from one of the square shelves.
He swallows at the sight of it and carefully lays the dolls down before carefully making his way over to the shelf, heart thumping in his throat.
His heart drops as he sees what looks like a small bloody dismembered hand. He feels like throwing up the sight, he can’t make anything else out other than it’s about the size of a toddlers.
“Hey what are you doing?” Someone whispers from behind him. Markus whips around and his heart jumps into his throat as he sees what looks like Henrik but something about him is completely off.
“Hey…” The person who looks like Henrik’s voice sounds like it’s underwater and Markus can’t find it in him to respond, or even move really. He’s too terrified and it feels like his heart is about to jump out of his chest.
“You weren’t supposed to find that.” His voice almost glitches and his heart falls to the floor but he still, can’t, fucking, MOVE.
Before Not Henrik reaches out to grab him as he approaches him and he blacks out as he hears what's undoubtedly Chase shouting something indiscernible.
