Welcome to the "Spectral Net Fellowship"

1. We live in a world where the Real is becoming harder to find: Making real friends, doing face to face conversations, popping round for a cuppa, going into Nature, enjoying unique handicrafts and homegrown produce.

We all are of the same blood, all are brothers and sisters, parts of the universal network of everything.

Yet every human being has a unique path towards their own bliss. Walking this path brings the person into the flow and ultimately benefits everyone.

Freedom is a necessary condition for finding one's way in life.

The Universe is a place of awe and wonder. Hardship is happening everywhere, as it has been happening since the beginning of times, but it is growing pain. We learn through every encounter with everyone and everything.

So, it is important to go through life accepting and appreciating the whole spectrum of our conditions, opinions, emotions, states, stages. Looking into their meaning.

Happy St Patrick's day! We are often said to benefit from following our native spiritual traditions. Well, I was born in a formally atheist country and I grew up with the love for sciences and arts. But my mother talked a lot about Madam Blavatsky and theosophy. When me and friends started a tribe I happily volunteered to be its shaman. After I watched "Star Wars" I wanted to be a Jedi. Generally I was interested in a broad range of spiritual traditions, in worldwide culture. Then, as a naive teenager and blindly following my mother, I fell into Orthodox Christianity with a promise of traditional ancient wisdom (pagans would be even more ancient and traditional!) Christianity brought me lots of pain, especially because I loved many thinkers and creatives from all over the world. Again and again, I was suggested that I won't be a proper Orthodox Christian until I am OK with all of those good people suffering in hell forever... Tortured by that loving god. Eventually I quit. Call me selfish but something like "do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law" always resonated well with me. That's partly why I was a militant atheist and an Objectivist for several years. But hard materialism is incredibly boring and uninspiring. Hence I am into "Mixed Mystical Arts" now... Perhaps I myself chose my previous struggles or they are my medicine prescribed by the Universe. But my desire still is to connect to the world both mystically and creatively, to walk my path freely and to find something useful for others on the way. Last weekend carers charity Credu gave me an opportunity to stay at the Old Rectory House in Aberhafesp. Green hill and the forest, crowning it, but it is it a crown of stars above the sacred ground or of thorns - as the ancient woodlands were and are tortured by people? Knots in the shapes of eyes are looking at us from the beech trees. Was an ancient deer headed god of forests worshipped here? As far as I could find out, there were 13th century church, a story of a ghost lady in white, a led mining fraud, a custom to put a spider in one's pocket for wealth, the healing Black Well and a custom to cross one's throat. The owner played us piano. For me it was a wonderfully bizarre few days in a strange ancient place. Happy Holi and The Sugar Moon (because of sweet tree sap starting flowing). I used to think that only science fiction was juicy enough to get excited about and portray in art. But long distance space travel and happy future may never even happen. Sorry. I started to feel disconnected from the world. It felt flat and dry. Today is Darwin day. The famous scientist was born not far from here, in Shrewsbury. It feels like a local holiday. He studied evolution of all living matter. I prefer to think that all the Universe is evolving, living and we humans are continuously participating in the process. That's what we are basically doing here. The sole reason for our existence. 9th of February was the day when Fyodor Dostoevsky died. He was my favourite writer at school, at the time when I started to think what type of human was a good one and what I wanted to become. I especially liked "The Idiot" and "The Dream of a Ridiculous Man". Then friends enlightened me about my Jungian personality type and that was allegedly why I understood Dostoevsky heroes so well. I even called myself a "FiNe artist" at some point. Later I started to suspect that something even weirder was at play. The "Ridiculous Man" might have been the story I have read (or only started reading) before... uh oh... dying for a last time... Maybe even the reason why I ended up in strange country of Russia next... But this is just a crazy fan art sequel for a fantastic story of dying and having another life on a strange planet, written by the real FiNe artist, a master magician of human connections, human growth and human failings. Happy Tu BiShvat, New Year of the Trees. I am planting this digital tree in celebration, hoping it would amuse or cheery up someone. It grew mostly out of the collective subconscious, I only trimmed and decorated it a little. People need people for different reasons. Some can't go on holidays or eat in a restaurant alone. I certainly could. But I can't create for myself. I need someone who needs what I do creatively. But I so often feel I don't know if anyone really does. And this kind of creative uncertainty feels like a curse. Maybe I am a tree which is not ready to produce its fruit yet, maybe I am trying to produce the wrong fruit altogether (but I tried a lot of different things). What happens if I go silent, at least for a while? Would anybody notice? I do play my harmonica by the river, where nobody can hear me, but I do have a hope that I will be good enough to share that sound one day. When I imagine myself on an uninhabited island without any chance to get out, I can't see myself making artwork which nobody ever sees. What's the point? But maybe there already is no point. I have been thinking yesterday that the combination of seemingly random events associated with a particular day plus seeming randomness of AI produces interesting outputs, reminding what I heard about cut-up techniques used by William S.
