UPDATE: Frozen Chicken for Ramadan!

Hussam managed to secure and buy 100 frozen 1.3kg chicken to the camps on his land and will work on another chicken run for the next camp! This is great news because people are lacking a lot of nutrients and protein so these will help them get a bit of their energy back!

Also, food cans are always available to everyone who needs them. People come to request food cans of meat and other things. But Hussam's team managed to distribute 1000 cans 2 days ago.

And! Diapers when available are also purchased and distributed on the spot to those who needs them.

The thing is... Israel admitted to this from the very beginning.

They said the confessions were obtained through 'interrogation' in the Shin Bet aka torture (Shin Bet is where they like to torture Palestinian prisoners for intel) so every country that cut funding to the UNRWA knew from the beginning that Israel was using false forced statements.

The famine in Gaza is partly due to this. Never forget that.

Hello 👋 I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer at the end of 2023 while I was pregnant with my second child. It has been a battle to say the least but I am fighting! I had my first mastectomy while pregnant last year and recently finished chemo and radiation, which is huge but me and my family still have a LONG road ahead of us! I completed the ovary surgery now the other mastectomy will be next, once my radiation site heals. I will get another huge surgery! In the meantime I am taking my medication to hopefully keep any cancer from returning!! Physical therapy is in the works for my left arm. What a journey. This seemed suspicious to me and wouldn’t you know it, this is a lie. The text used here is actually from linkedin, posted over a year ago.

I’ve had a few of these popping up in my inbox claiming various different needs for donations. If anyone is getting unprompted asks like this, I encourage you do do a quick copy paste of some of the text into a search engine to see who actually originally posted it, and additionally to report these accounts for phishing.

Scammer pretending to be in Palestine v2

Currently there is a scammer posing as either a person in Palestine, having a family in Palestine, or is an orphan/an orphan with kids in Palestine. I have another post where I’ve been documenting this scammer but I’m redoing it here since recent updates are hard to be seen. Every account that will be listed here are scammers. Please make sure that if you see this as a reblogged post, please check the original to see if it’s been updated since. This scammer will send you hate asks if you call them out and they have been doing this since the start of February. Here is my original post.

The most common thing is that their blog is usually only a week old at best and commonly is taking their posts from a real fundraiser. Please do not give money to this scammer. Please note that they send asks to anyone who interacts with trending posts or tags and will promise to you that they’re legitimate but will refuse to answer any questions to prove they’re legit. If they do happen to send you a DM, please see if they’ll give you a direct link to their PayPal-me which would make it easy to figure out which country they’re actually located in.

in light of israel's looming invasion on rafah, south africa implored the icj to call for the protection of palestinians with new preliminary orders. the icj denied this request, insisting that its january orders would be sufficient enough in ensuring the safety of people residing in rafah.

we have all seen how israel responded to the icj verdict earlier this month. they have all but intensified their attacks on palestinians, their favorite of whom seem to be children. this will end in a bloodbath. palestinians, already malnourished and living in literal tents, will be bombarded, they will be shot, they will be slaughtered. and when i say palestinians, a lot of them are actual toddlers. the videos coming out of this are proof enough.

at this point, it has been made amply clear that palestinians will never experience safety in their own homeland. a lot of the families in gaza are trying to raise funds to get out of it, because there's nowhere left to go.

there is nowhere left to go. if these people don't get the funds necessary to escape, they will die.

it's vital that you go to operation olive branch's spreadsheet, choose a family that resonates with you, and donate as much as you can to their gofundme. every last dollar counts. one dollar could be the difference between life and death for a family. please don't fall victim to the bystander effect. your contribution counts, however little it may be. and whether you're able to donate or not, spread this to as many people as you can. each second we stay silent is a second an entire family is brutally massacred.

February started with false hopes of a ceasefire.

It is now February 15 and the largest medical facility in South Gaza, which sheltered ~2,500 people and had been under siege for two weeks, has been attacked. It is now completely out of function.

We are 21 days away from marking 5 months of ongoing genocide.

So many Palestinians’ lives will just never be the same. Even on the chance that a ceasefire is declared, which even that isn’t forthcoming, it will not undo the trauma of having your home destroyed, of having the cafe you dwelled every day reduced to rubble, of digging among ruins to see your loved ones one last time, of living in makeshift encampments that are bombarded by airstrikes day and night, of experiencing a live genocide while the world does absolutely nothing to stop it. Those people have seen things they can never speak of—and still we have people chalking it up to “exterminating Hamas,” to “Arabs being terrorists,” to “both sides are in the wrong.” The least we owe Palestinians is a free Palestine, but it’s far from the last thing.

I don't think people truly understand the gravity of Rafah being bombed.

That is the only option

Rafah was the only place in Palestine promised not to be bombed. That promise is broken.

BACKPACKNOMAD is another code to get $3 off your first purchase, it's been working for some people but not others so try out a referral code instead if you can't get it to work. also it took over an hour for the email with my information to come through so don't panic if it doesn't show up right away. (logging back into your nomad account seems to have helped some people get their emails to send!) Remember the 6 year old girl who was surrounded by Israeli tanks and the red crescent couldn't reach her? Her name is Hind Hamadeh. Here you can hear the phone call her 15 year old sister, Layan Hamadeh, made with the medics. She was killed exactly a moment later including all people in the car, except for 6 year old Hind who was stuck in the car with the dead bodies of her family, Israeli tanks and IDF surrounding her, shooting, preventing anybody to reach her.

That was last night (29.1.24). Today, still nothing. The fate of Hind remains unknown.

palestine red crescent ambulance team went to rescue her yesterday evening, but they have not returned as of now. We lost contact with them about 18 hours ago, and we still remain unaware of their fate and whether they succeeded in evacuating her or not.

Please, share Hind's story as much as you can on any platform. We need to know what happened to her. Put yourself in her place, how terrified she must be. Don't scroll past this.
