I hate it when people tag their posts with unrelated characters. Mostly see it on Instagram with general fandom Tumblr-screenshot shitposts. I understand it's a way to expand the posts' reach beyond a general fandom tag to gain more clout but it's pretty dickish IMO....... like fuck off man, that's not the [character] fancontent I was looking for.

Something really shitty has just been passed by the UK goverment.

A new bill that is stripping out human rights has been passed and we need to fight it before it costs lives. The new Human Rights Bill has made nazi Germans esc changes that will effect you or somone you love.

The most notiable parts being:

-If you are admitted to hospital with a disability or chronic condition a doctor can put a DNR do not ressusatate on you and you can’t appeal it.

-They are stopping woman from being able to move fowards with assault charges

- They are making it impossible for victims of terrorism to get justice. They won’t let people like the victims of  the hillsborough disaster hold the people responsible

Please do your own research if you must but we can’t let this happen!

There a petition to sign that’s already half way there so please share it around and tell ppl in the UK what is happening.

a lot of young girls need to realize that keeping friendships alive gets so hard after high school/uni and that you have to actively nurture your friendships if you want them to last yes even the friendships of 2 decades….. your 20s are so disorienting and trauamtizing no one can afford to take friendships for granted… everybody worries about not finding a romantic partner lets start worrying about being friendless by the time you hit 30

This post is me acknowelging that some people go onto tumblr to escape the real world and to soothe themselves after stressful experiences, so if they block or ignore social justice and news stories so that their decompression isn’t interrupted with yet more stress, it is not only no one’s business but it makes perfect sense.

Never judge people for not reblogging something.

I think Gen Z as a generation has been traumatised by powerlessly watching our parents be rude to service staff when we were kids and now we overcompensate it by being insanely polite to them

I have so many mixed feelings about TUA netflix series. I'm one to always go into adaptions open-minded with my main criteria being that the adaption at least keeps the spirit of the source material.

In this case, I KNOW there are a lot of elements of the source material that aren't appealing to a mainstream audience but it's like almost all the stuff I liked about it was the stuff that got axed.

And I'm not a huge fan of the way they rearranged and changed storylines and relationships to shift focus in certain areas. With every season they just push the whole "family is everything" message more and more. Which is wholesome and nice I guess but I'd rather have full-on unhinged 00.05 and the less whiny version of Klaus

#did i still enjoy this season? yeah #but like i don't care about their romantic problems #i miss the code names #and the weird ass campy villains instead of the teenwolf knight things #hearing my boyfriend talk about the boys and the way they really went all in on the weird shit from those comics jsut makes me jealous

stories are just stories and ppl don't necessarily react to things stories the way they would if they witnessed them in real life cause why would they, its fake, its not real, the consequences aren't tangible, it doesn't matter, but even feeling all that i do still have a list of fictional chatacters that if i discover someone hates (and especially if i discover they hate them for some specific reasons) i on a certain level do not trust that person. like they could be just an otherwise entirely impressive person who i admire a great deal and some voice in the back of my mind will remember them being like 'see sarah from labyrinth got want was coming to her for being a a teenage girl i mean a brat'. and how do i move past that.
