SO! I finally did what I said I was going to do like six months ago and have posted the first few chapters of the rewrite. I want to touch base with anyone still following along for how I plan to proceed with this story going forward.

Firstly, I deleted the first 8 original chapters and have put [Rewrite in Progress] notes as place markers for those until the updates can replace them. The first three new chapters are now up if anyone wants to give them a read.

Second, I will no longer be posting chapters here. Tumblr is not ideal for a multi-chapter fic so all updates will be posted directly to AO3. However, because I am essentially replacing the old chapters rather than adding new ones there will be no email notifications from AO3 so I will post the link here when a new chapter is live.

Finally, thank you to everyone who is still invested in this story. I know I kind of drop off of the face of the Tumblrsphere but my wips are never far from my mind, and I'm so grateful to know that I still have an engaged audience, even when I don't update frequently. Your lovely comments are what motivate me to keep going. I hope you enjoy the update just as much, if not more than the orignal💖
