Israel boldly claiming it intercepted 99% of Iran's missiles and drones is good news. Despite the fact that it's very hard to believe, it signals that Israel has no intention of escalating the conflict to an all out war. Of course, this is after Biden made it clear the US won't be dragged into war with Iran at this moment but still good news.

Israel can pretend it wasn't damaged by the missile strikes and that its defense system held up so that there's no expectation that they would start a war with Iran. Iran seems to expect a response from Tel Aviv and Iran has promised that its retaliation will be twice as strong but for now, no (high intensity) regional war.
