I do have the feeling that Ned inwardly supported Lyanna and Rhaegar, even if Robert was his best friend. If only they weren't all nobles and important persons. Like he probably did support Robert and Lyanna but even more with Rhaegar because he just wanted his sister to be happy with some very kind man for her, but understood it just wasn't Robert ; as Rhaegar was kinder.

I have the feeling that Ned all along was just sad this good man for her sister was Rhaegar ; was just sad for Lyanna for her impossible love story with the Prince. And as a consequence, felt even sadder learning her death in the name of this tragic love.

You know, as I'm back in my Marauders Era phase, I see posts of all these characters everywhere in head canons, fanfics, etc.

As a matter of fact, it almost surprises me that James and Lily, who are dead characters even before the story begins, still in a way are "reborn characters" thanks to the whole Potterhead community and their content. It's like they make them alive again whereas everyone here knows very well despite the fact they don't exist, that they're dead and dead forever.

It is fascinating for me how illusional the fantasy can be real sometimes. I recently noticed that personally most moving characters in a fiction are dead characters.

So thank for going on for still publishing about the Marauders Era, it's still alive after all this time, even that we know it is a past Era that will never come back. Thank you for making them immortal.
