my personal headcanon is that Columbo's first name is Francis - connected to Frank but potentially embarrassing as Peter Falk said it should be

Morning Dog Walk <3
Inspired by some really cool artists I've been seeing lately such as @possessedpasm and @danicalzone who do amazing things with retro style and paper textures!

I've decided drawing Peter Falk isn't about a likeness it's about a vibe

for the record this is about the character himself rather than the story as a whole, in case that makes a difference
Explain your thinking!

Watched dune part 1 cos I've heard such good things about the second part and I thought the visuals and the soundtrack seemed amazing (and I still think that!) but I just can't get over how flat and charmless Paul is as a protagonist. I've liked Timothee Chalamet in other films but I feel like he has absolutely no infectious energy or charisma at all in Dune to compensate for his character being quite a bland archetype from the off. Tbf I think Dune is definitely going for world building and striking cinematography over charming characters, and it really nailed those things! But Jesus every scene with Paul just feels like a mildly moody perfume ad to me.
