General tumblr reminder, since some people don't know: If the person's URL has "deactivated" plus a string of numbers (a date) after it, that means that they manually deleted their own blog. It doesn't mean they were banned. Banned blogs don't have "deactivated" after them and will just be the normal URL you can't click on or interact with. They look very similar and function the same, but they were caused by two very different things.
something that boils my piss about visa and mastercard and stripe and paypal unilaterally declaring themselves the final arbiters of what kind of legal business people are allowed to conduct is how much of their bullying is based on pure aesthetics. If you go through the retailer list of a certain specialty herb supplier, the stores that are dressed as legal highs and head shops have all got the banhammer but the stores dressed as wellness and lifestyle have the full suite of payment options available. THEY'RE THE SAME. FUCKING. BUSINESS.
It's the same with adult products, if you want a dildo from Horny Hank's Freaky Fuck Bazaar you gotta pay with crypto or bank transfer but if you want the exact same dildo from the Heterosexual Coupling Healthy Happiness Enhancement Emporium you can pay with paypal.
They don't even truly care what you're selling they only care how it looks. The image of respectable conformity matters more than the substance of the business and products. And actually I don't think anyone should have to meet arbitrary standards of what an acceptable storefront looks like to be able to draw a cartoon dick when drawing cartoon dicks is in fact perfectly fucking legal. You should be able to draw and distribute cartoon dicks in accordance with the law without being forced to dress your cartoon dick dispensary like a hot yoga studio, actually.
food sensitivity test...since when is being ok with bleu cheese comparable to eating bread or jelly that has mold on it? the cheese mold is a domesticated creature that we care for and replicate in exchange for making us funny snacks. I know her and I trust her. mold on a fruit could be anybody
“Nobody’s going to want to sit on high-speed rail for fifteen hours to get from New York City to LA.”
Me. I will sit on high-speed rail for fifteen hours. I’ll sit on it for days. I’ll write and read and nap and eat and then do it all over again. I’ll stare out the windows and see America from ground level and not have to drive. I’ll see the Rockies and the deserts and cornfields and the Mississippi River and your house and yours and yours too. I’ll make up stories in my head about the small towns I see as we go along. I’ll see the states I’ve yet to see because driving or flying there is a fucking slog and expensive to boot. I’ll enjoy the ride as much as the destination. And then I’ll do it all over again to come the fuck home.
whenever i rb a post making fun of people who think misandry or "transmisandry" exists as an axis of oppression i lose a handful of followers & it always makes me laugh bc i was here in the mines 7-8 yrs ago calling the first "transmisandry" types on here transmisogynist assholes and trying to explain to them in detail why their arguments don't make sense when we were all like 18-19 and freshly out and they were doing the exact same shit back then except now we're all in our late 20s and they haven't changed or learned anything or addressed the rampant racism and misogyny in the community and they've gotten a new gen of transmascs in on their bullshit too. the sad thing is 7 yrs ago it was a lot more of a fringe thing and transfem bloggers and a few nonwhite transmascs on here tried to sound the alarm about these people (i repeat, the racism among these kinds of people has been and still is really egregious) and nothing really happened and so this culture has been allowed to flourish under the radar and now it's like playing whackamole every time i get a new transmasc follower i have to check if they've been convinced by instagram and tumblr posts that trans men as a class are oppressed specifically for being men
