Woah hi I’m back kinda
I completely forgot to post this. Like, I meant to, and never did. Whoopsie. Anyways, have some oc art. This is Lucy, she’s a daeodon and is honestly kinda like Scout tf2. She’s cocky and stupid, and is very butch. I love her.
This is my first drawing I’ve done on my new drawing tablet, and I gotta say I like it. Finally I’ve upgraded from phone and finger.

Secret Santa gift for @raaorqtpbpdy ! I saw Caruso pop up a lot in their prompts and decided to draw this big idiot for them. I was gonna draw a short comic for one of their prompts but ran outta time sadly. Maybe I’ll still make it anyways eventually!
Anyways. Caruso from dinosquad. I want to dissect him.

Dinovember day 16: triceratops! With no help from tumblr for deleting my first draft…. Also a little late because my wifi went down! Hopefully you’ll still take it…?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Just a couple things I made in art class a while ago! The first is a whiteboard doodle of a triceratops because I had free time, and the second is from a book I made! Our project was to make a book with at least 8 pages using multiple medias. I decided to make my book comparing vintage/pop-culture “dinosaurs” versus the modern ones! The backgrounds are all water color, the “old” in acrylic, the “new” in colored pencil and pen, and the names in letter stamps! The cover used acrylic, hand carved stamps, and book corners. I chose paint for the “old” dinosaurs to mimic oil paintings, and the lack of lineart helping represent our fuzzy understanding of them. The “new” dinosaurs have lineart, representing how much clearer they are to us, and the (cheap) colored pencil represents the new generation of paleontologists and paleoartists. The watercolor backgrounds were meant just to be out of the way, putting focus on the animals. The letter stamps are meant to resemble that of a typewriter. I was originally going to hand write info blurbs, but I ran out of time- for that same reason the paintings aren’t very refined and my book has no title on its cover and my name is sloppily hand written instead of stamped in. The title was supposed to be “a more modern Mesozoic” as a play on “a more ancient dorcet”, which is regarded as one of the first true paleoart pieces.
I realize too late that I could’ve used pages from this book for days that I had no motivation, so why not post them now? Under a cut, of course.
My name is of course blotted out once again. The details on the shells and the megalo nearly killed me since I had no fine detail carving tools or skill, but I persisted!

Dinovember day 13: Tyrannosaurus!
I’m not a fan of how static the poses are, and the painting could definitely be way better. As you can see I had a… small accident and got a bit of paint on my modern rex. Guess he was just born with a really weird birthmark. I also meant for him to be bigger than his fictional counterpart, but as you can see, that didn’t work out how I’d hoped.

Dinovember day 14: Parasaurolophus!
I actually did make a separate drawing for day 14, but it must have been hidden due to the warnings I put on it, because no one seemed to notice it. Oh well I guess. This is one of the pages, if not the page I dislike the most. The old one is too dark, the new one is too bland with bad patterning and pose, and I don’t even know what I was doing on that background. Guess para is just bad luck for me!

Dinovember day 16: Triceratops!

Couple things I made in art class a while back. The first is a whiteboard doodle because I had spare time (real name signature blotted out) and the second is a page from a book I made! We had to make like. These little booklets of whatever we wanted using multiple medias. My book was about comparisons between the old, vintage/pop culture depiction of dinosaurs, and their modern counterparts! The backgrounds were all in water color, the “old” versions in acrylic, the “modern” versions in color pencil/pen, and the letters in stamps! The covers used acrylic, hand carved stamps, and book corner protectors!
Unfortunately I completely forgot I made that book, which really sucks because a bunch of the pages could’ve been used for dinovembers that I didn’t have the motivation for! So, I’ll post em now, under a read more :)
Once again, my name blotted out. I was gonna do a title and my name in letter stamps, but I ran out of time and had to go without my title and my name in crappy pen, which thankfully you can’t see

Dinovember day 14: parasaurolophus! I actually did make a dinovember post for para, but sadly it must’ve been blocked from view by the warning tags I put on it (b*dy h*rror) or something, because it was never found
Tumblr media
As you can see, I’m not good at painting in crunched time and at small scale lol. I love my drawing for para, but I hate how static the pose feels and how bad the patterns are. I just couldn’t think of anything for it!

Dinovember day 14: parasaurolophus!
Tumblr media
This is my neurotenic parasaurolophus oc, Ebony! Like many of my dinosaur ocs, he’s made for a sort of “dinosaur reserve” type thing that mixes time periods and plays with genetics. On the isle, neuro variants are like. Supposed to be super smart and can talk to players outside their own species. Idk, I don’t play the isle. But talking to other species is kinda null in that rp, so instead neuros can hypnotize and telepathically communicate or smt? Idk if that’s in the isle or not but I highly doubt it. Idk, I just know that I found it cool and wanted to make one for myself, especially since everyone else was making hypos and I like to be different lol.
I made him even more different by having him be a “harmless hadrosaur”. He lives in a cave with a ton of snakes, lizards, bugs, and other small animals he can make do his bidding. His skin is skin and fragile, so he avoids the sunlight, and his main diet is things his “minions” bring him- along with the occasional adventurous saur who wanders into the caves, never do be seen again. So, yes- he’s primarily carnivorous with a supplementary diet of plants, instead of the other way around. In an adaptation for this, his beak is sharper. While you can’t see it, it still follows the split that the isles para has in its beak, meaning instead of a raptorian beak, it’s more like a staple remover. Youwch.
This drawing was actually made for Halloween after my friend suggested I draw him for it, except it was late by a few days to be completed. I saw that the list had para on it, and decided I should hold off instead! Snake-less version under the cut, so you can properly see his creepy bulging head. Honestly I’m more proud of the snake than I am him!

Dinovember day 10: cryolophosaurus!
Tumblr media
I was gonna do something for yesterday, but it kinda got complicated to beyond a simple one day thing. I might finish it, might not. But anyways, I wasn’t going to do anything for today because I had…. Zero ideas. At all. Whatsoever. But then in science class we were doing a worksheet on some movie about Albert Einstein, and I needed something to doodle, so.
I’ll be honest I completely forgot what cryo looks like, so I googled to rq to remember which one it was, but the rest was completely unreferenced. Hence why the anatomy is probably wack as hell. It’s supposed to be laying on its side, yawning, but I don’t know if I made that very clear? Laying down and sitting animals are harder than you’d think lol. Also I don’t think that I made the fact it’s fluffy very clear either. Like I said I completely forgot which one cryo was for a second, so I forget if it lived in cold environments or not, but the name implies it did, so.. fluff. But also because I’m a believer of the “all archosaurs are ancestrally fluffy and warm blooded and crocs are little freaks” theory, so even if it didn’t live somewhere cold, putting some fuzz never hurt.

Dinovember day 8: Stegosaurus
Tumblr media
I wasn’t gonna do this day originally because I had like. No ideas. And then a shitty life event happened last night so I was like okay definitely not doing this now. Then I was sitting there and said hey what if I drew anyways. So I did.
All I’m doing today is this little unreferenced sketch of my oc, who I uh. Forgot the name of. I can’t currently check what there name was because of said life event but it was either speckles or spots. Maybe EyeSpot? I don’t know. They’re covered in little speckles and their plates have big eyespots. Idk, they’re a backburner oc without much development, but they’re cute.

Dinovember day 7- compsognathus!
Tumblr media
Featuring my guy Tiny! Also featuring my mid sharing and backgrounds but we don’t talk about those. I’m sorta going for a “guys watch this” expression. If whatever he’s referring to will blow up in his face metaphorically or he’ll succeed is for you to decide.
He’s the brains of the pack I mentioned in my allosaurus post, making up for his small size. And he’s not just small by other dinosaurs standards, he’s small by his own species standards- the runt of the litter, if you will. I’m still not sure on his backstory- I can’t just have his parents be wiped out by disease or something, since Whitefoot already has that going for him. I’d gladly take suggestions! I’m kinda leaning towards being abandoned for his small size.
Also, his green coloring was very purposeful. While that was what his original design had, as you can see from Redcrest I don’t mind changing it completely. So, why’d I keep the dull green leopard spots on a male, especially since- as my friends know- I like to believe compsognathids leaned very heavily into display, like the birds of paradise of the Mesozoic.
The answer is… no one knows. No one knows if he’s an AMAB just born with female coloring- another mutation like his runtiness, or if he’s trans. No one in universe has bothered to ask, and even if they did he won’t answer. That’s a secret only he knows.

Dinovember day 6: Brachiosaurus!
Tumblr media
Not very happy with this one so I didn’t finish it. It’s just a little sketch of my oc, Lavender. She’s trans, mtf. There’s actually a reason, and that’s because she was an adopt that was intended to be male by the seller, but I completely forgot and made her a girl. When I remembered, the seller said it was fine, just a bit strange for a female to have a big dewlap and be brightly colored, and I said hey, what if they’re trans? So yeah. Trans brachiosaurus. She’s one of my favorite ocs to be honest. I’m still friends with her seller too!
I haven’t given her an updated reference, or drawn her in a while. Suddenly I realize why… sauropods suck to draw! Lol

Dinovember day 5- Allosaurus
Tumblr media
A redesign of one of my first ever dinosaur ocs- Redcrest! He’s part of a found family made up of a utahraptor named Whitefoot, his mate, a dilophosaurus named Greenstripe, and a compsognathus named Tiny. All of them are orphans in some way, and they were developed for a dinosaur reserve roleplay, hence the mixing of time periods. They’re all orphans in some way, but I never developed the reason Redcrest and Tiny had no parents- until now.
The reason the three scars on the back of his neck are duller is because they were obtained as a youngster. He found out the hard way that the baby therizinosaurus did not, in fact, want to play with him. He also learned that day that adult therizinosaurs are very strong. As in, an angry one is enough to kill an adult allosaurus with a good swing in the right spot.
He’s the muscles of his group, and also the jokester. For an oc I like a lot, I never give him much attention. The last drawing I made of him was… holy cow, two years ago!
Tumblr media
And it wasn’t even him alone. In fact, he was an afterthought because I had forgotten to sketch him with the other guys! Yeah, he definitely needed this TLC. Tiny needs a redesign too, so good thing this list has compsognathus on it!

A little bit of an updated Spy design for dinovember
Tumblr media
I’ve been wanting to redesign my TF2 Dino’s, and since Spy is a coelophysis, it just worked out. Why’s the background and shading bad you ask? It’s called “oh shit I have half an hour before midnight and I haven’t shaded it” because I was busy in school and playing My Singing Monsters lol.
But yeah. My friends prompt list had today as “dinosaur media character” and. This kiiinda fits that? He isn’t from dinosaur media, but he’s a dinosaur and he’s from a video game. He’s just. Not a dinosaur in that game.
Also don’t ask what he’s disgusted by. Probably Scout I don’t know

Crappy doodle for dinovember
Tumblr media
It’s a mix of @1dinodaily ‘s list and a friends list, soo
Plateosaurus + Battle
It’s supposed to be an old, battle scarred male. The red and blue patches are used in a hypothetical display. He flushes the red patches with blood, showing how healthy he is, then shows her the blue, which highlights the pink scars. They’re all given to him in territorial conflicts with other males (minus a couple from carnivores) and show her that he’s strong. In this image he’s recently returned from another conflict, in which he was the victor.

Should I make a separate blog for countrydinos so I stop tormenting y’all yes or no

Uh oh boys proper pinned post comin in hot
This is the art blog of @bus-noises because my art gets buried under reblogs on my main
I draw dinosaurs. That’s. About it. If I get into a fandom and want to draw fanart for it you bet I’ll be turning them into dinosaurs
Current fandoms I draw stuff for sometimes are Team Fortress Two and CountryHumans- or my version, CountryDinos, but I mostly post those on my side blog, @countrydinos! Sometimes I’ll draw regular dinosaurs, but I primarily draw cartoony ones.
While reblogs are better than likes, don’t feel bad if you don’t want to reblog. I’m happy to see someone interacting with my art at all :)
Anyways yeah that’s it goodbye

This took so long and I’m not even that proud of it aughhh. I love the pose but I hate clothing and I hate shading
But yeah it’s just. A random idea I had. Enemies dancing together is an overdone concept but it’s so fun everytime
Britain on the left is an iguanodon, and France on the right is a dacentrurus
Not meant as ship hence the less-than-pleased facial expressions but I won’t care if it’s tagged as ship.
