Well, okay, this is my ocs, my favorite kids from russian fanfic “Frozen in Time” (”Застывшие во времени”). I just want to give a little talk about them, and sorry for my bad English, I use google-translate almost all the time.

Nia Jackson - the eldest in the Jackson family. Her zodiac sign is Aquarius, and at the moment in fanfiction we don’t know what’s has happened with her.

Ray Jackson - the main character. His zodiac sign is Cancer. He’s pretty smart, a good strategist, but weak physically. Ray is also very emotional, although he does not want to admit it. He also knows that he has an older sister, but at the moment, he does not know where she is and what is with her. His best friend is Jasper Grace. Jasper Grace - is an attractive young man. His appearance attracts both people and gods and because of it this guy has big problems. He has a charming voice of the mother, and he knows how to control the flow of air. He is kind and empathice, but often cannot tell the truth in the eyes, so some consider him a hypocrite. Ray is one of his closest friends. His zodiac sign is Pisces. Elico (Elly) Grace - little beautiful girl. Her zodiac sign is Aries. She is very stubborn, friendly and cheerful. While she is nine years old, she is not in a hurry to show her abilities, but there are suggestions that they will be the same as her brother’s. Easily fascinates anyone she wants. Jason is often buys on her “puppy eyes”.

Here are a few of my own personal datapoints:

writing tip. let your characters lose in ways that matter. Let them lose in ways that can't be fixed. Give them permanent scars. Loved ones who will never come back. Mistakes they had every opportunity to avoid but still made, that will never get fixed. Let them feel guilty for things they actually did wrong, not just traumatic shit that happened to them that wasn't their fault. Let your characters lose for real. Your story will never have any real meaning beyond light entertainment if the audience knows you're too much of a coward to let your hero actually, really lose.
